Male Wounds: 10/10, Fate Points: 0/5, TB: 3, Fatigue: 0 Adeptus Administratum-Assasin

Lax will reload both his inferno pistil and his needle rifle.
After he's done he'll put his needle rifle away and pick up his Hell rifle.
Looking over, he realises how bad a shape Garm is in.

"Does anyone here know medicae? Our Captain is sort of bleeding all over the shuttle"

Male Human Level 3 Investigator

Neither Philips or Aviary are trained in medicae and say as such.

Garm waves off concerns.

"I will live. Someone back at the ship can tend to my wounds."

Male Human Level 3 Investigator

Illorn goes searching the village for spoils and to get an idea of it's layout. He chooses to haul back some meat of unknown origin but very tough and definitely not human.

The journey back to the ship is a time for reflection, you wont the skirmish but not without cost but your expedition has provided invaluable intelligence.

Medicae 25: 1d100 ⇒ 82
Garm receives medical attention and the pain killers help dull the ache.

What would you like to do now you are back on the ship?

Male Wounds: 14/14, Crit 0, Fate Points: 2/3, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0, Carapace: 5 AP Arms, Legs, Head 6 AP Chest

Garm looks for a plate full of meat, or whatever is available, then announces, somewhat groggily with all the painkillers:

"I go to rest. I may be some days."

And begins to stagger towards his quarters.

Male Wounds: 10/10, Fate Points: 0/5, TB: 3, Fatigue: 0 Adeptus Administratum-Assasin

Lax will go to the Master of Augers and ask him if the ships sensors have picked up any signs of civilization.

He'll also ask for updates on anything important while they were gone.

After that he'll go and find Illorn.
"Illorn I know we've never seen eye to eye but I would like to ask your help with something. The thing is .... I have no idea how to handle any sort of blade and I think it's time I learned. Will you please teach me?"

Wounds 14/14 Fate Points 4/5

Lax will find Illorn cleaning and maintaining his equipment, the ever-suffering Phillips close by taking care of the more complicated matters, in this case it being the overheated jump pack. As Lax approaches Illorn sets the rifle butt first on the floor so it stands vertical, and begins sharpening the massive blade affixed to the end with a whetstone, the shink shink of it back and forth steady and methodical, almost like a metronome. He continues sharpening as Lax talks, eyes narrowing as he tries to gauge his intent.
Scrutiny on Lax 33: 1d100 ⇒ 24

Gizzard spends his shift in his uniform trying to keep busy.

Male Wounds: 14/14, Crit 0, Fate Points: 2/3, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0, Carapace: 5 AP Arms, Legs, Head 6 AP Chest

Garm voxes the bridge.

"Get the shuttle up so it can see far. Now I sleep."

And Garm promptly rolls over in bed, groans, and passes out.

Male Human Level 3 Investigator

I need to know what time of day and in what direction the shuttle is going/trying to map.

Wounds: 11/11, Fate: 4/4, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0/9

An intrigued Gizzard jumps out of the Helm and over to the map table. He fumbles through the stack of papers looking for the hand drafted map of the planets surface. Finally we have something interesting to do. He thinks to himself as others start to join him.

"Let's get a crew together and get out there. We start with what we know and spiral out looking for rivers and landmarks."
He says as he thinks back to his days flying miners on and off floating rocks.

"I'd like to fly this one."

Male Human Level 3 Investigator

Weather: 1d10 ⇒ 6

Once Gizzard is in the shuttle he notes it's a cloudy day, rain landing on his windshield but he should be able to get a broad idea of this place. He decides to stay beneath the clouds.

What he finds: 1d100 ⇒ 35
From the altitude he observes from this altitude that there are some large formations on the closest smaller island beneath the surface. Underground structures or long buried ruins or some natural distortion.

Only very small minor islands dot the seas to the south, east and west in his spiral but he does spot ships of some kind plying the sea. Some headed to their own downed vessel, some away from it.

There are several signs of possibly small settlements scattered about the coast. Sweeping east he can see for more overt instrusions into the natural landscape. Larger settlements. He spots some kind of odd flyers moving to intercept him, not flyers, possibly some kind of creature.

Wounds: 11/11, Fate: 4/4, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0/9

Gizzard will maintain his course but he is prepared to take evasive actions and withdraw to avoid damage to the shuttle.

Operate (Aeronautica), under 70 before shuttles maneuverability. Free reroll. If I succeed, take point of fatigue to gain 5 additional degrees of success. I can ignore the first point of fatigue every session thanks to my divination.

"Philips, prepare you may need to hold on to your jocks."

Male Human Level 3 Investigator

Gizzard is able to get away from these unknown flyers. After the evasive maneouvers and the long days flying it seems a good point to head back for the day to refuel, report and get some rack time.

Wounds: 11/11, Fate: 4/4, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0/9

Wounds 14/14 Fate Points 4/5

Meanwhile, an unspecified number of hours/days ago...

Illorn hawks and spits something disgusting to the side with a horribly solid splattering sound, and continues to sharpen the bayonet of the sniper rifle.
"If thou wishest me to trust thee, then in future stop avoiding mine questions with yon grace of a ploughing pregnant sow. As for training..." Illorn finally looks away from the bayonet to assess Lax, weighing what he has seen of him in combat.
"I coulds't only put thee through what I wert put through as a lad, certain aspects aside, though even such early trials wouldst break thee methinks, boy."
He puts aside the sniper rifle and begins sliding rounds one by one into the partially used clip from the fight against the orcs while waiting for Lax's response.

Male Wounds: 10/10, Fate Points: 0/5, TB: 3, Fatigue: 0 Adeptus Administratum-Assasin

What was his upbringing like? He does keep mentioning something about daemons... like the zombies, an image of the zombies flashes before Lax's eyes. He pales visibly and his left eye begins twitching.

"That's probably... that's probably .. for the, the best. Haha" Lax stammers as a nervous chuckle escapes his lips.
"I'm just gonna go and .... astropath .... story"

Lax scurries out of the room and he'll head to Astropaths' room/workplace.
"Ah Sylvos, just the man I was hoping to see. I was wondering if you had a few minute for a chat. Maybe about the what's causing our slight zombie problem, if I could lend a hand fixing it, what you need to fix it when your going to fix it ifcanyoufixitEmperortellmeyoucanfixit"

"I do not know how but it seems to be fueled by the warp. It is strange in this place. I am forcusing on continuing to establish contact with another Imperial ship or outpost so we can get off this world. I have had no response so far."

Male Wounds: 10/10, Fate Points: 0/5, TB: 3, Fatigue: 0 Adeptus Administratum-Assasin

"Oh that great, anyway I have to head off, you know lots of work to do"

Lax is going to head down to the med bay and takes some tranq to calm his nerves (Master of paperwork increases the availability modifier from Abundant to Ubiquitous). He'll be on the recon mission

Wounds 14/14 Fate Points 4/5

Illorn will board the shuttle clad in his power armor, right as the vessel is ready to take off. Walking to the pilot compartment and sticking his head through as he says "Aviary, what dost yon healer say about the lesion on thy w-" and stops dead as he sees someone who is not Aviary in the pilots seat.
"Thou art not Aviary" Illorn says flatly, stating the obvious "Who the rot art thou?" he demands, once he recovers from the initial surprise.

Wounds: 11/11, Fate: 4/4, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0/9

"I'm sorry lieutenant, but I've no idea who Aviary is. I'm helmsman Gizzard Khan. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Gizzard takes little interest in Illorn's interruption and continues making pre-flight checks while talking back and forth with Philips in Techna-Lingua.

Illorn will note a machine cult tattoo under Gizzard's fiery beard suggesting that unlike many of his colleagues he's not a former navy man.

Male Human Level 3 Investigator

Philips elaborates "He's the pilot who flew the last recon mission and requested to fly this follow up."

I'm still going to need a direction that the pilot wants to go to find these ships again or I'll just roll for it.

Wounds: 11/11, Fate: 4/4, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0/9

Gizzard will follow the coast near where the ship went down looking for any signs of settlements or ships.

Male Human Level 3 Investigator

1d100 ⇒ 26

As your shuttle heads towards the coast you notice something odd... there are two groups skirmishing on your hull. One group appears to be orks. The other... well you're not quite sure at this range but they are garbed in bright red and yellow and are smaller than the orks fighting in a more disciplined formation.

Wounds 14/14 Fate Points 4/5

Illorn barks out a laugh "Cheeky bastards, fighting 'pon our vessel! Get us closer so we may get their numbers, Gizzard, and see what manner of creature be fighting these Orks!"
Illorn will have his sniper rifle at the ready, door open, and be watching the scene closely as they close and ascertaining numbers on each side, as well as figuring exactly what is fighting the orks.

Male Human Level 3 Investigator

Twelve orks with leather armour, an array of melee weapons and shields are fighting against twenty four colourfully garbed... humans? Eight at the back are loading crossbows while sixteen are fighting with swords and daggers using their cloaks to confuse the ork's attacks.

Male Wounds: 10/10, Fate Points: 0/5, TB: 3, Fatigue: 0 Adeptus Administratum-Assasin

Lax stirs under his camo cloak. He pulls it off him and stand up, as the last of the tranq wears off.
He looks out the window and spots the Orks. "Not these a$%$&@&s again"

Lax will take out his needle rifle and make a full aim action at the nearest Ork.

Wounds 14/14 Fate Points 4/5

......
How high above them are we, and are all the orks engaged in combat?

Illorn will study the combat style of the possible humans, noting how they fight whilst a toothy smile begins to creep across his face under the power armor helmet. Over the vox he comms to all in the ship, and Garm, [slightly too loud as always] "Methinks 'tis time for some aggressive diplomacy, eh?"

Wounds 14/14 Fate Points 4/5

Over the comms Illorn will say "Gizzard! 'tis time to see if thine mettle matches Aviary's! Charge this vessel over and past the ork line, getting within 30 meteres of their backline!" Illorn grabs the hilt of his thunder hammer and flips the weapon up from his belt, catching it deftly as it comes down whilst sliding his shield onto his other arm "'tis time methinks to maketh some friends. Or kill some foes." He laughs "We shalt find out soon enough!"
With that Illorn will brace himself at the shuttle door, obviously preparing to jump out.

Wounds: 11/11, Fate: 4/4, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0/9

"He can't be much worth if I haven't heard of him."

Gizzard will do exactly as asked.

Male Wounds: 14/14, Crit 0, Fate Points: 2/3, TB: 4, Fatigue: 0, Carapace: 5 AP Arms, Legs, Head 6 AP Chest

Garm sits up in bed, winces, and reaches a large hand to grab the microbead by his bed, tossed there between a grinning skull bolt pistol and a hand cannon.

He picks it up, replies:

"The most aggressive you can muster. If anyone is wise enough to surrender, have a talk with them."

He puts down the microbead, then lies back, thinking while listening from a slight distance.

Male Wounds: 10/10, Fate Points: 0/5, TB: 3, Fatigue: 0 Adeptus Administratum-Assasin
