It takes me about 40 minutes to post a thread, between the BBCode tags and the prose....
Wow. 40 minutes?!!
I cut and paste from a text document...I have the following commands ready to go:

Then Kast Stats:
[.spoiler=Kast Stats]
AC: 17
HP: 10/10
Weapon: Longspear
Status: First real fight ever...how do you think I'm doing? *AWESOME*
Effects:
I personally don't think you need to do a status update every round..especially if nothing is changing. Often I'm posting from my iPhone and things take a bit longer so I cut a bit.
40 minutes, eh? I guess I should start reading those posts more. ;)
Dorin Zstel
Ten minutes to post, 30 minutes to go through Pazio losing my post and me logging in again and getting to the right place. I do have a text file of old posts to make the BBCode faster, but I still like to write out what I'm doing in real time to add that personal touch to the posts.
I also hit "Preview" sixteen times or so to proof the text before I hit "Submit Post".
Zees
Well done everyone. Much better drama than my real life these last few days.
I cut and paste from a text document...I have the following commands ready to go:
Where's the [Insert snide comment here] reminder? Guess that's just automatic. 8-P

Where's the [Insert snide comment here] reminder? Guess that's just automatic. 8-P
Snide? SNIDE?!? ME?!?!
Listen, Chris (if that is your real name), I don't mean to be snide...I'm really more playful. And snide. Uhm, I mean, poignant...yeah, I'm poignant. Not snide.
And remember, Kast really likes Zees...deep, deep, deep, deep down in the bowels of the bowels of the bowels of his heart...he wishes the best for him.
:)
Kast Phaer
To the guys reading 'sulky Dorin' on the IC thread: IT'S JUST ROLEPLAY.
Lol. Of course...so is the 'bad blood' betwixt me and Zees.
I just gotta figure out how to respond, if at all.
Keep rockin' it. We'll keep up and have fun with it (speaking for myself, not for Zees, who is often the wet blanket) ;).
Kast Phaer
Good news, bad news, Danaris.
I was grabbing the goblin's bow for you. However, I just realized it's probably a short bow and I see now you only have access to the longbow.
Not only that, it's likely to be a small short bow. :(
Danaris Krupt
Yeah, I do longbows. I have one. Danaris just didn't bring it with him to the festival. He's a priest, not a warrior and walking around with a weapon just didn't seem festive.
Besides I've decided that Danaris became a cleric not to adventure, but to minister to the people of Sandpoint. He's pretty reluctant about all this combat.
Kast Phaer
I think someone needs to give Zees a hug and tell him everything is going to be okay. I nominate Kast (obviously).
Uhm...you want *me* to hug Zees? Uh, sure...let me scrape together a few gold coins for a set of spiked armor first, k?
:)
Dorin Zstel
All of you are able to equip yourself with your previously bought equipment but shops are obviously closed with the exception of Savah's Armory which reopened espcially
Kast will be asked to help the injured and then since he has already done guard today will be able to go to his party : after which , he won't be able to do much of anything till morning ... Malcolm and Gar won't be in great shape either . As for Dorin , it all depends on whether he drinks all the congratulatory drinks that are pressed on him by the grateful citizens
So the only guy not at the party is Zees. Where's Zees? He's scribing a scroll, for crying out loud!
You see the difference between a wizard and a sorcerer, Zees? Sorcerer = life of the party, never has to worry about re-learning spells every day, has all this free time. Wizard = nose stuck in books.
Just kiddin'
As for equipment, Dorin has scraped together an adventurer's backpack and his signature gauntlets over the years at Sandpoint. He doesn't have much left (15 gp) for anything else yet.

You laugh now, but just wait until Robin sticks you all with a -2 for being hungover.
Zees
Dorin looks at the door to the White Deer. "I, uh, told the cook where I was going....I think Ameiko will let me go. I'll go with you to the Cathedral and wait for Kast and Zees."
I'll call that bluff. :-)
Sense motive1d20 + 0 ⇒ (4) + 0 = 4
Dorin Zstel
Thank you son, and please convey our thanks to Sir Foxglove.
Malcolm turns to Dorin and Danaris. Well, it appears as if we have been rewarded beyond a mere Boar Hunt! I suggest that we divide the reward when we are all together later at the Cathedral.
We should designate someone to keep a Loot Sheet on their profile where we keep party items and funds that are not assigned to an individual. I am terrible at things like this. Does anyone wish to volunteer.
I'm keeping a spreadsheet of Dorin's advancement, equipment, etc, it wouldn't be hard for me to keep a 'treasure' tab on the spreadsheet.
300 gp / 6 people = 50 gp each. Is the cleric going to guilt us into giving some of the money to the Cathedral for rebuilding/charity? ;-)
Dorin Zstel
Alright. Dorin's doing it!
GP Total GP Each Exceptions Reference
300 50 LinkHmmm....BBCode doesn't really lend to tables.
Kast Phaer
Thanks for falling on the sword Danaris!
Wait. What?!
You talked Danaris into falling on his sword?!
Was that just so you could his share of the loot?!?
I'm not sure if I should be impressed or running away.
So, *that's* how the Church of Abadar makes its money. And Malcolm takes his job very seriously!
::Kast slowly backs away from Malc with his loot.::
-Kast
Danaris Krupt
It's those merchants! They can talk you out of anything. You sign a contract, not noticing the fine print and–bam!–they've got you. Yeah, yeah it doesn't seem fair. You owe them all your gold, any magic items you find, and all they gave you in return was a hand me down long sword. But try to bring that up and they start yelling about free markets and buyer beware.
Abadar's the first step on a short journey to Asmodeus.
That why you should stick with Erastil. Small communities. Living off the land. Face to face interactions. Your neighbor uses some high-falutin' legal muckety-muck to steal your land. You just smite the jerk. All your other neighbors will applaud your actions.
Dorin Zstel
And your communities stay so small you can never deal with the large-sized problems out there, like giants, monsters, or standing armies. What this land needs is a strong leader that can unite all the cities and communities under an iron fist, and protect the people from any outside enemies, no matter their size! A legal system for everyone! And a huge million-man standing army that can meet any challenge! With a hereditary leader to ensure the same ideals live on throughout the ages!
(Ok, tongue-in-cheek argument is over.)

This is a bit of random babble about our mystery.
1. What was Fr. Tobyn's preferred deity?
2. And he had an adopted daughter, Nuala, who had celestial blood supposedly. And she died in the fire too, right?
3. Did he have any other relatives, close friends, enemies?
3. There must be a connection between the fire and the Chopper, right? I have no evidence for it but my dramatic sense says that there is a connection.
What evidence do we have that Stoot was the chopper? He was already dead when the guard got there, right? Perhaps there was some connection between Fr. Tobyn and the chopper and the fire was set to cover it up, get back at him?
This destroying everything related to Stoot seems rather convenient. We get no evidence about the Chopper or Stoot because it was all destroyed. . . is that normal, a lynch mob in a nice town like Sandpoint? Any other weirdness at around that time?
I got to get some ranks in knowledge local or diplomacy so we can gather some rumors.
So plans:
1. See the crypt if possible.
2. Gather information about the troubles, including the chopper and the fire.
3. Figure out if Fr. Tobyn has any family, friends, and enemies. And find out about his daughter.
Dorin Zstel
More spoilers.
I don't think the Chopper and the fire are related. I'd have to roll my Knowledge:Local, but right now Dorin is just thinking "the goblins are becoming one big tribe to harass us", not "someone from town is doing this". (Skirting as close to PC knowledge as possible without metagaming or using prior knowledge.)
The boar hunt from Foxglove sounds like a good way to see if there are any goblins wandering out there.
Danaris Krupt
I don't have any prior knowledge about this AP, except that goblins are a part of it. Figured that one out from the cover. I admit that my theory about a connection between the fire and the Chopper comes from the adage about guns and plays (if you show a pistol in the first act, it better go off by the end and all that jazz), and it may not occur to Danaris, but that's why I put all this in out of character. I was just speculating wildly. Maybe I leave it to Zees to make paranoid leaps.
robin
Dorin , Danaris , Malcolm
Father Tobyn was a priest of Desna and his daughter had indeed celestial blood
No special enemies , friends or relative you remember from when you knew him .
Chopper died some days before the fire in which Father Tobyn died and the decision of destroying the access and his house was a decison of the council and the temple to destroy the shrine to the evil deity he revered .
Otherwise I will not comment on your guesses since they are only musings at this point
Dorin Zstel
Gar will go back to the shipyard, fed and happy. And looking forward to a little fun in the woods soon. If he hears any trouble he will come running. Otherwise he will look for the others around dinner time at the tavern, if he is not fetched before then.
Wait, Gar doesn't know about the payola from Foxglove? I foresee...problems.
"Hey Gar, this guy we saved yesterday gave us 30 gold - that's five gold each!" :-)
Dorin Zstel
The current Sheriff roleplay: guys, if I understand correctly, Titus Scarnetti won't be back until tomorrow evening. The Sheriff's not leaving for Magimar until after that. So we can still do the boar hunt in the next 24-32 hours, then stay in town for the rest of the week to do deputy duty. The Sheriff's going to ask that we not do our usual work/duties, so all we need is a schedule of who's the guy(s) doing the round-robin of the town entrances once an hour or so. If something comes up, well, we're the deputies, not the guards at the town walls.
Since I'm playing the 18-year-old, somebody take charge before the Sheriff gets short with us.

Kast Phaer wrote:Not sure my character will agree, but I'll play it out in character. We'll see what happens.Slap. Slap. How does it sound now?
Ow.
Feels like hurting. :(
Kast Phaer
Yo All--
I'm torn here what to do. My character is strongly against going on the boar hunt as he feels a greater obligation to the town/himself. However, I know the axiom of "don't split the party" and don't think it should hold true here: I'm willing to forgo any reward/XP whatever for the sake of my character.
I don't want to be a pain or a stick in the mud on this. It would just be very out of character for me to go.
Danaris, you should definitely go. Your god would command it!
While I hope there is no huge goblin attack on you guys during the boar hunt, my character wants to do the right thing.
If there is major trouble, I can hope that you'll come back to get me before moving on, but understand if you move forward without me.
Bring me back some bacon, eh?
Good luck on the hunt.
