Foxglove Manor

Normornigan splashes acid in one of the creature's eyes, while Clifford bites and claws at it. Ansgar tries a strike, but misses. The creature turns its attention to Caeldren, who just badly wounded it.

Man, I'm getting pretty good at this hero stuff. I should have started doing this years ago.

I'm glad Shortstuff is a good sport, I need to come up with something better though, Shortstuff is just so... easy. There's no depth to that name. Hmmmm. Also what should I call the elf? Grumpface fits, but I don't think he'd appreciate it. And then there's Zelinda, she's a good sport, but I just don't know. Blondie? weak, need something better. She's awful cheery. Hmmmmm.

I hope Stoneface is alright, He looked pretty frustrated there while we were fighting that...thing. Maybe I should lay off for a bit. Oh but it would be so much fun to tease him about missing, especially that last swing. Best not though...

Zelinda glances back at Caeldren, a bit of a wicked gleam in her eye to offset the quirky smile on her lips, "You start with that 'ladies first' garbage, and I might just have to use this blade on you, sir." She gives him a moment to process the information as she glances around the corner again before looking back. He expression looks a little more sincere and friendly. "I'm a warrior and adventurer first and foremost. Don't you doubt that I'll have more than my fair share of chances to prove my worth, and I'm not afraid to push my weight around, if needed."

None taken. Zelinda is just a very straight forward-kind of person who is trying to prove herself based on her own merits. I'll definitely let you know if something goes too far. ;)

Ansgar goes down the new hall way, and inspects the door.

The door open into a corridor that ends in double doors. The corridor also has an intersection with a door south that wraps back to the room you've been before and another door to the north.

If nothing else this will be a change of topic from cutting up dashing heros. You'd think killing weird tenticly things in such a grand fasion would be worth something...apparently not.


Foxglove Manor

Stone fonts containing frothy dark water sit to the north and south of the eastern entrance to the room, and twin banks of stone pillars run the length of the long chamber. At the western end, shallow stairs rise to a platform about two feet off the ground. The walls surrounding this platform are lit by hanging braziers that emit glowing red smoke, giving the place an unnerving crimson lighting that throws the bas-relief carvings of countless monsters feasting on fleeing humans into lurid display. A black marble altar stone, its surface heaped with ashes and bone fragments, squats before a ten-foot-tall statue. The sculpture depicts a very pregnant but otherwise shapely naked woman who wields a kukri in each taloned hand and has a long reptilian tail, birdlike taloned feet, and the snarling head of a three-eyed jackal with a forked tongue. The left kukri flickers with fiery orange light while the right one glows with a cold blue radiance.

The temple and statue are sacred to Lamashtu, goddess of monsters

You also see two emaciated, hairless canine creatures hovering close to the ceiling, as they see you, they start howling and flying towards you to attack!

These are Yeth Hounds, evil outsiders that delight in hunting intelligent prey. Their bites and howls induce fear in their victims and they are resistant to damage unless struck by silver weapons

As a Sylvan sorcerer I have the "Share Spell" ability as a druide.

Share Spells:

The druid may cast a spell with a target of “You” on her animal companion (as a touch range spell) instead of on herself. A druid may cast spells on her animal companion even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion’s type (animal). Spells cast in this way must come from a class that grants an animal companion. This ability does not allow the animal to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.

So I can cast enlarge person on him.

@Norm: AFAIK the only way to stand up without provoking with Acrobatics in Pathfinder is having 15 ranks and skill unlock feat from Pathfinder Unchained.

Ansgar blesses the party with a spell. The howling Hound turns its attention to the prone Clifford, trying to bite him.

White vs. Cliff(Prone): 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 7 + 4 = 28 Damage: 2d6 + 4 ⇒ (6, 6) + 4 = 16

The hound lands a powerful bite near Clifford's neck, leaving him unconscious.

While Zelinda and Quiary keep running away, Caeldren strikes, finally drawing blood. Normornigan becomes invisible and walks near Clifford.

Zantus steps closer to the battlefield and channels positive energy.

Channel Energy: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8

Everyone in range except the two hounds recovers 8 hp

The other hound sniffs the air, catching scent of Normornigan and trying to bite him!

Frustrated Cael begins calling out advice while in a defensive stance. "In the story of Jode he has to fight dogs, it said he distracted them by keeping something in front for them to bite on, maybe it will work here. Also..." Cael continues a steady stream of thoughts, advice and general encouragement as he prepares to block the hounds' attacks.

Ok ignore the advice bit, it's just the flavor for Cael's raging song which he just fired up. +2 to dex for everyone, no penalty attached. Also guarded life is in effect for everyone who accepts the song.

BTW you accept my "song" each turn at the beginning of your turn. If you accept you have the benefits until the beginning of your next turn. If you decide not to accept it, then you don't have to (unless you're unconcious). You make the choice each turn.
