Aéron Skáh |

I look down to the short woman who is holding my hand, and gentle hold it with both hands, "Don't worry, we'll get her back safely. Just have ta prepare first, what can ya tell us of the Glassworks defenses?"

Unalaq |

Not to take things in too different a direction, but shouldn't we really talk to Zanthus? He just sent us in to figure out what was in the crypt. If appropriate, maybe its better to just assume he thanked us?

Unalaq |

"Yeah, I've heard around town that he has quite the temper."
I'll just roll with the Glassworks scene and put a spoiler out there for Zanthus assuming that happened before we got the note.
"Father, we have terrible news to report from the crypt. It wasn't a goblin, but we found that Father Tobyn's remains are missing and someone had animated four of the bodies interred in the crypt as skeletons. Mercifully, we were able to lay them all to rest again, but I'm sure they will need a proper bural and your prayers. Aéron has a hunch that the entire goblin attack might have been a setup to steal Father Tobyn's remains."

Unalaq |

"We have no idea, but we agree this abomination must be righted. Our only clue was that we saw the tracks of goblins and either humans or an elf. Do you know if Father Tobyn had any enemies or was buried with any special relics of the church? Perhaps Desna will be able to provide more guidance."

Unalaq |

"Was she buried in the crypt as well?"

Unalaq |

"How terrible. What was her name? Is there a monument to her memory somewhere?"

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Will Tarinhil have had time to mix up all three of the CLW potions per the original plan before we head to the glassworks?

Fernus Stonecall |

Fernus is ready to go and follows Zara and the others in this chaos.
"Well at least it's always an exciting day here."

Unalaq |

Unalaq shares the entire exchange with everyone else for anyone that wasn't present.
"Locked? Well, let's knock and see if we can get their attention."

Unalaq |

Unalaq waits for a moment and listens. Perception 1d20 ⇒ 15 "That halfling said the note said something about knocking didn't she?"

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Tarinhil says, "That seems severe -- I can probably open the lock without destroying anything and with less risk of being arrested-- or we can go around back -- surely a glassworks has more than one door -- probably some large enough to bring in a wagon."
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

Unalaq |

"Mmm, now that you mention it, did that note say something about which entrance?"

Tarinhilliberanavius |

Tarinhil's ears perk up at the sound of something within. "We have to hurry! Something's inside!", he exclaims.
He throwing back his mutagen and reaches for his tools even as his limbs begin to stretch out.
DisableDevice: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21

Unalaq |

"Do you have it Tarinhill? If not, step aside and Aeron and I will bash it down!"
Strength check if needed 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

Unalaq |

Unalaq rushes in and tries the double doors just inside.
If locked, he will try to force them open. 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18

MiniGM |

i moved everyone forward a bit
This is obviously the glass working room. A furnace burns along the
southeast wall of this room. Marble tables sit in the
chamber, used to work raw glass into usable shapes, with
nearby wooden tables cluttered with various tools ofthe
trade. Around the room are dismembered and burned in molten glass bodies of 8 workers in the Glassworks, as well as in the center of the room, in a chair and covered in glass, is the body of Ameiko's father, his face frozen in pain and fear.
In the room are 12 Goblins, scattered and playing. Most have both dogslicers and tongs dripping with molton glass.
Note that there is glass shattered all over the place, making all the terrain difficult...the only exception is that you may choose to move at your normal speed but the broken glass acts as caltrops on your feet, and yes even through boots.
Init coming soon

Fernus Stonecall |

Fernus will move to the door opening as the bigger and badder of his allies move in, else he postions himself closer to the opened door.
"What's all the ruckus, what is inside the room?"

![]() |

Eryda moves behind Zara and supports him supporting Fernus.

MiniGM |

Aeron and Tarin move up, Aeron into the room with Breaker ready to play
On Aeron
The goblins swarm towards Aeron, picking their way through the glass, giggling maniacally. Three attack him
Tongues vs Touch 1d20 ⇒ 10 for 1d4 ⇒ 2 Fire
Dogslicer 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 for 1d4 ⇒ 3
Thrown glass 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (5) - 4 = 1 for 1d3 ⇒ 2
On Unalaq
Flying glass 1d20 - 4 - 4 ⇒ (13) - 4 - 4 = 5 1d3 ⇒ 3 a goblin tries to throw it past Aeron at Unalaq
The three goblins at the end dance and shout. Go tell Longshanks to come and play!

Draken Shar Black |

As the fight begins Draken slips into his backpack spot, poking his nose and eyes out.

Aéron Skáh |

Sorry about the length of time away, I was at work. You have moved me well, are we posting our actions for the first round now, or are you posting the Goblins first?

Unalaq |

"We've got this Aéron! I can only pray that some of these poor souls are still alive or if not that they passed quickly. Let's work side-by-side down this row." Feeling a piece of glass stab through his boot and nearly puncture his arch, Unalaq swings wildly and nearly removes Aéron's ear.
Attack when you're ready for it 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Damage 2d8 + 6 ⇒ (5, 2) + 6 = 13

Aéron Skáh |

I glance at Unalaq and nod, "Gotch'a." I too swing "Crusher" and hope that it connects with one of the Goblins. I don't move until Unalaq moves, making sure we have created a meat wall between us and the squichies.
"Crusher" Attack : 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
"Crusher" Damage : 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (1, 2) + 3 = 6
As I swing I manage to narrowly avoid being hit by Unalaq and due to that I don't put as much strength behind the attack as I usually do. I look at him and frown before turning my attention back on the Goblins.

Unalaq |

"Sorry Aéron! This glass is all over. Watch yourself, I nearly put a piece through my foot."

Fernus Stonecall |

Fernus casts a Grease spell on the group of goblins close to Aéron and Unalaq, hoping they fall into the glass shards. Moved myself up
