Well seeing as how this is the first true sequel in the "Disney Canon" since The Rescuers Down Under in 1990 it's not so bad.
(No, all of those direct to video things they did don't count).
However I do believe they are going to be hard pressed to live up to the expectations for this movie, Frozen 2 and the inevitable Zootopia sequel.

I like the fact that it is first of the sequels to released especially since they announced a Frozen 2 ages ago. I am not saying that I am not looking forward to Frozen 2 but I am happy that Ralph will be the first sequel of the new wave of good Disney animated films.
Now I really hope that Zootopia will get a sequel. Big Hero 6 could use a sequel as well but since it is getting a TV show already it might no get one.

Does Cars 2 count. Admittedly Pixar, but isn't Pixar=Disney these days?
Of course that would also bring up the Toy Story movies and Finding Dory as well then.

I dunno, of all the movies to get a sequel Wreck It Ralph seems like the worst. It was fully wrapped up in a nice little bow, lessons learned, happy ending.
Any sequel will either A.) Ruin that or B.) End up at the same place.
Does a sequel really need to advance the plot or innovate the medium? It's a fun family film, a well-made sequel that gives us more of the same would be totally fine in my book. I just want to see Ralph wreck some stuff, get a few awesome video game cameos, and have some feels.

Not according to Disney themselves, apparently they don't consider any Pixar film to be part of their "Animation Canon", nor their imported Studio Ghibli films, direct to video/tv films, or basically anything not on this list.

Hmmm, that's tough. Jak and Daxter, perhaps?
Sora, Donald, and Goofy shouldn't be hard to manage.
Just have them stumble into an ongoing game of Smash Bros. at some point.
I want to see at least one of the cameos be something more long term. Act as a guide through their world or something.
Somebody like Link or another silent protagonist would be the funniest I imagine.

We finally got some more information about this from the Disney Expo 23. They say something about the Sugar Rush game getting broken and Ralph and Vanellope have go into the internet to get a new one. They show some scenes with them first entering the internet, talking to an algorithm named Yesss, another with Vanellope talking to every Disney Princess and trying to convince them she is a princess.

I feel sorry for the people who worked on this considering how many internet(and related stuff) movies and anime we have gotten since the the first movie. Yet there hasn't been any retro video game focused movies (except pixels) since the first Wreck It Ralph. I do wish they went with the original idea of focusing console games for the sequel.
