Sorry, I assumed those rolls were for outside the crypt. I did not realize they included inside and the gobbos leaving as well. We will need to try to figure out where they went with the remains at some point. Hopefully Kus-kus the hunter will be able to track them down, eh little drake.

lol, thats prolly true. theres not suppose to be an encounter here so i didnt think to roll initiative but here it will be
Kerak: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Eleazar: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Nicolae: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22
Kus-Kus: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Narvolo: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Lonjiku: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 1 = 15
Ameiko: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Wow, that was lucky

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but sleep is a full-round cast.
Have any grease?

True about Sleep, been awhile since I've played low enough for it to be a spell mem'd. Daze would have been equally effective, as perhaps Charm Person, either cast through my Arcane Bond. We will never know now.

He's suppose to be played as an insulting jerk, which I did, but that doesn't automatically warrant violence, not lawfully anyway. I realize your not lawful, but there are laws in Sandpoint which you will likely face now.
As for him starting it, he actually just called you trouble makers and said you should leave things to professionals, then you threatened him which he returned. To make things worse, he's a noble, which is kinda like a congressman today. So yes, he started it, but that wont hold up in a court of law lol. You'r character could very easily not care about any of that anyway though. I mean, he is a barbarian after all. I'm not quite sure how to handle it yet, but the consequences will suck I'm sure. But that doesn't mean it isn't amusing nor does it mean the game will come to a halt.

Alright I think I know whats going to happen here. A minor divination from the GM-
Pretty soon the town guard will be here, as well as Hemlock. They're certainly going to take Narvolo to jail, where he will be forced t pay a fine totaling more than he has at this level (100gp), receive a lashing, and have to serve some time in the clink with very little food. All of this will cause him to leave exhausted. However, if someone can convince Ameiko that his heart was in the right place, she may be willing to go down and sway the sheriff.
Nicolae "Nic" Plamen |
I was about to post when I saw this. GM had a harrow deck too.
I was hoping to do just that, giving Ameiko the equivalent of a Varisian promise of "We'll be good, and make it up to you, if you keep us out of jail." Nic is hoping a show of solidarity helps.

Look, I'm just roleplaying Narvolo. He gave the guy ample warning to back down and also put his hand on the weapon, and the NPC didn't back down, he got worse, so Narvolo swung at him. It's what he would do. If there are consequences, that's fine. I'm playing Narvolo as he would act. If the sheriff comes to arrest me, Narvolo will of course fight the sheriff.
Narvolo |
I understand that, that's why I said that yur character may not care about any of it because he's a barbarian. Just a warning though, fighting Hemlock will result in death
Well, then he dies. If you start a fight with a high level character against a level 1 character, that's what happens. And why would I give a rat's butt if he's a noble, a congressman, or whatever. If anyone insulted my like that in real life, and I'm not a barbarian, and I warned him, and he kept doing it, that's what happens. Laugh, and now you've come to arrest me. Okay.
jimibones83 |
so if someone told you that you should let a professional take care of something rather than you so that no one gets hurt, you would threaten to hurt them? and if they cautioned retaliation if you followed through, you'd smack them over the head with a hammer? lol, are you playing from a prison cell?
jimibones83 |
Sorry this has gotten derailed in a way that's eating up time guys, I just think the guards would give Narvolo a fair chance to comply. this might eat up a bit of time but we will get back on track after it's handled.
Also, i want to ensure everyone that, as long as the cards are played right, this wont necessarily reflect on anyone else
Narvolo |
Solved with a sleep spell. :P And no, I wouldn't hit someone with a huge hammer in real life, but I have punched someone for that in a real life situation back in my younger days. But, I'm not a barbarian. The barbarian grabs his hammer and smashes someone. It's just a matter of civilization he grew up in. Insults were something that you fight over.
jimibones83 |
I agree. I've been in quite a few petty scuffles myself, 2 last weekend, one of which resulted in me getting maced lol. I'm no stranger, but pulling a weapon makes it a way different matter than a simple bar room brawl. While dungeons and country side are typically "anything goes" areas, towns tend to have laws against such things. Not all GM's enforce them I suppose, but I feel like they should be or there's no reason for everyone to go ape dookie

Acid Flask
Alchemist's Fire
Durable Arrow treatment (If anyone in our group uses a ranged weapon)
Liquid Ice
Weapon Blanch - Cold Iron or Silver
Spell Reagents he is interested in stocking:
Brimstone or Sulphur
Cold Iron
Quicksilver
Saltpeter
Urea
Alchemy Tools he is looking to purchase:
Portable Crucible 20gp 3lbs
Filters 5sp .5lb single use
Retort 2gp .5lbs
Also, would you allow that Nic has knowledge of Varisian Fireworks and their crafting, it requires no additional skills or feats, just having the opportunity of having been trained for it? Nic does not have the money to really invest in creating fireworks at this time, but it might be something down the road, either for use by the party or as a means of earning a little coin on the side during downtime.

No problem and thanks. All of the items are I believe on the d20pfsrd site

Narvolo |
Well, ya. No way he'd accept those terms.
jimibones83 |
Yeah well, when you assault someone in town with a weapon, its pretty standard that you aren't allowed to carry a weapon anymore. That's the best thing I could think of and honestly I thought it was more than fair. Lonjiku could easily have you detained for months, and you still wouldn't be allowed to carry a weapon. Not until Hemlock or mayor Deverin decide you've figured out when to use it and when not to anyway. Turns out that that's basically what Narvolo chose to do after all. I understand you want to role play his character, but you should expect these types of reactions if that's how you choose to play. A law abiding town isn't going to allow a barbarian to assault people, likely murder them, because he didn't like what they said. Out in the wilderness or in a dungeon is one thing, but towns are another.
Its alright though, no hard feelings. I appreciate the help with ditzie and maybe in the future, another game perhaps, things will go different
Kerak, the Crab King |
I'd be open to it. Worth mentioning, my original build was a mad dog barbarian, so if we catch someone more interested in divine than martial, I can switch back if needed.

You guys will start running into real loot pretty soon. The other group made an alias to handle it. This is a quote of the first post by the alias named Storage
Hey Guys,
I am Storage the Looter! I am known as such because basically all the loot your GM declares, I swallow.
Just let me know how you want me to dump them though, I like it better if I feel empty. So without further ado, here is the current list that I have swallowed so far. Please let me dump those stinky armors ASAP...
20gp
13x Studded Leather Armor (small/makeshift/stinky)
1x Masterwork Horsechopper (small)
12x Dogslicer (small)
2x Whip (small)
2x Shortbow (small)
40x Arrows (small)
1x Potion of CLW
1x Potion of CMW
People discuss what they would like to keep upon retrieval, the alias swallows the rest. When they get to a spot they can sell stuff, the storage alias posts again so items can be reviewed for grabs once more before being sold. The remainder is sold and the gold is split.
Someone could do this in a Group Loot spoiler on their sheet just as easy.
