Runt PbP |

Too short to dive back through the window, Runt yells at them in goblin.
"Open the door you idiots and let the others in! I had to jump in through the window."
Intimidate: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

Syeira Cretu |

Syeira hears Runt's yell through the window. Unsure if her companions can understand goblin, she speaks quickly and quietly. "Be ready. Runt is trying to convince them to open the door. Either we need to be ready to break it down to assist or be ready for some confused goblins."

Ansley Tanner |

Ansley takes a step back.
"If they don't open quick I am going though it."

Rigel Pordyras |

Rigel looked at the sorceress dubiously after he heard the guttural language from inside, but there wasn't much to be done about it. The actor stepped back with Ansley, eyes on the door, drawing his sword while they wait.
Goblins were inside the Glassworks? That wasn't good...the creatures weren't exactly known for trying to not break things.

Gm fatmanspencer |
Goblins int: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (7) - 2 = 5
The goblins mutter and grumble but figure anyone jumping through a window and breaking the glass would be a goblin, for who else would make such a racket, then demand the door open when you made a perfectly good hole. They then open the door, and anyone who is ready may make an attack against them.

Ansley Tanner |

Ansley makes a terrible attempt at a joke as she swings her heave mace down at the goblin opening the door.
"Morning, selling maces! Want one?"
H. Mace: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

Rigel Pordyras |

Rigel looked over at Ansley, disbelief on his face as she cracked a joke while also cracking a goblin face. Still, he wasn't about to let good fortune hold him back. He lunged forward, trying to run a goblin through with his weapon.
Short Sword: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19

Runt PbP |

Runt summons a fiendish dog (as a standard action) and sets it up (flanking) behind the goblins at the door.
To Hit, flank: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 + 2 = 16

"Oh no, a dog!"

That one never gets old.

Syeira Cretu |

Syeira blinks back the shock on her face as Runt's plan actually worked. She then squeezes the trigger on her crossbow firing at the goblin in the doorway.

As the crossbow bolt goes wide, and Runt and Rigel work to fell one, Ansley manages to kill one, crushing its dumb skull underneath her mighty righteous blow. However, this leaves on goblin up and walking, and he shrieks and runs to see if it can attack before the rest of you can!

Syeira quickly reloads and fires her crossbow at the remaining goblin. "Surprise is lost but we can't let them prepare"

The dog charges and attempt to run it down.
"Sic 'em, girl."
To Hit, charge: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 2 = 14
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Rigel Pordyras |

Rigel shook his head as he looked at the bodies of the goblins, not feeling very good about the prospect of the little cretins being in the Glassworks. "I guess let's take a look around, shall we? Surely more than just the opportunity to break things brought them here..."

Runt PbP |

"Perhaps. Probably."
Though one can never underestimate the desire for a goblin to break things.
Runt will cautiously start peeking around corners.

Ansley Tanner |

"Anyone hurt enough to need healing? Where there is one goblin there will be more I am sure. We should see what they are up to."
She checks the body of the fallen goblins in case they are carrying anything interesting.

Syeira Cretu |

Syeira enters the glassworks with the rest of the party. "I'm ok, still a little banged up from yesterday, but I'll be fine." She then surveys the room. "We should proceed with caution"

Gm fatmanspencer |
Looking around the room, you finally realize this must be a reception area, complete with a potted plant, and a desk for writing, along with some chairs that look uncomfortable if you had to wait more than 5 minutes. Based on the stories you have overheard in town, waiting more than 5 minutes would be a common occurance. You notice three doors to your left, and that none of them are open.

Rigel Pordyras |

Rigel looked at the sadistic seating devices with apprehension, hoping he never had to come to the Glassworks on business. Seeing as how this was a bit different, the actor felt he could bypass the initial niceties and proceed inward.
Picking the leftest of the left doors, since the right way was always wrong, the bard waited for the others to approach, then threw the portal open, brandishing his sword at what might lie on the other side.

Runt PbP |

Runt will charge Rigel up with Inquisitor's Direction (Su) after he opens the door.

Ansley Tanner |

When Rigel moves towards a door Ansley nods and she actually smiles when Runt bolsters the bard. Teamwork already, that is good.
"Left it is."
She moves to follow in behind but is cut off by Runt

Syeira Cretu |

Syeira takes up position at the back of the party. "I was looking for adventure and knowledge, but what am I doing," she idly thinks to herself. Sensing her anxiousness, the tattooed scorpion begins to writhe on her back before coming out of her skin and crawling to perch on her shoulder.

Gm fatmanspencer |
As you burst into the room, you look around and discover to your horror, it is covered with more business accents!! You feel that with the coziness and superior furnishings, this was for the more important clients, something that would be foreign to the plebs. It then leads to another door, and of course you may leave back out how you came in

Rigel Pordyras |

Wishing to leave the business accents behind, Rigel rushed quickly through the room to the other door, waving the others to follow. They could sift through everything thoroughly later. Now was the time to flush out the trash.

Syeira Cretu |

Syeira followed Rigel's swiftness, wanting to be done with this business as quickly as possible.

Runt PbP |

Any chance at getting a map? I do so much better visualizing when there is a map.
"Glow? Goblins. Probably burning things. We kill more goblins?"
Runt seems to be riding a bloodthirsty high after the recent goblin encounters and is rather enthusiastic about continuing the streak. Rather odd for an inquisitor of Lamashtu, but then again, even the goblins like killing goblins. And then there is her perilous upbringing. Could be simple self defense. In any case, she is raring to go but pauses for confirmation before opening the doors and rushing in. Probably because, though she likes giving the little buggers a comeuppance, she would prefer not to be swarmed by them all on her own.

Rigel Pordyras |

Rigel shrugged, then nodded in affirmation to Runt's question. Killing goblins seemed to be the flavor of the day. He readied his sword, standing by the door, though he allowed the diminutive woman to do the honors, if she so chose. He wasn't greedy about opening doors into possible hostile situations.

Runt PbP |

Runt throws open the door and summons a fiendish dog. If there is anything in the room it charges and attacks.
To Hit: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4

Runt PbP |

Could you update the map so I know my options?

Gm fatmanspencer |

After bursting into the room and savagely mauling one of the 3 goblins present, the heroes start to make their approach, with Rigel being the first one to need to take a swing at them

Rigel Pordyras |

Moving in past his short human comrade, Rigel waved his sword menacingly on his way to the closest of the diminutive goblins. Though they were probably too stupid to be threatened by such a thing, it never hurt to try. His eyes glanced over at the humanoid shape briefly, but there were other priorities at the moment. He took a swipe at the disgusting creature, hoping to cut off the others to force them to fight in a bottleneck.
Short Sword: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
Sorry for the hold up!

Gm fatmanspencer |
Rigel, valiant and heroic as he was, knew from stories that sometimes the heroes missed, and the bad guys got a chance to swing. This was one of those times. The two remaining goblins run at him, in a goblin-like way, before swing each at him.

The first goblin swung with all his little arms might, but instead of hitting, missed by a hairs breathe. The next one however, he seemed to connect and hit Rigel right in the leg. However, the fierce dwarven Ansleys was up next

Ansley Tanner |

"Right, fighting it is. Don't let any of em run off."
With a bit of a grumble Ansley moves into the room and heads straight for the dog and goblin to the north.
"Don't like killing dogs but here we are."
SHe brings her heavy mace down at the dog skull hoping for a rewarding crunch.
Heavy Mace: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Runt PbP |

Runt looks on with surprise as Ansley rushes by her and offs the dog she just summoned.
"Um. My dog. Goblins not like dog. Good dog."
She's not all that surprised that that happened. Her dogs rarely last all that long, and it was a fiendish thing which, Runt can only assume, was the reason the goody dwarf offed it.

Ansley Tanner |

Oh no!!!! I should have read back further! Crap.

Runt PbP |

Actually, I love it. I can just see it in my minds eye. Ansley rushing by Runt and seeing a fiendish dog. Runt standing there, her mouth in an Oh as Ansley crushes its skull. It totally makes sense and is just the kind of thing to happen in a real battle.

Runt PbP |

Runt sighs a little exasperated sigh.
Fine then, you can take out the goblin.
Runt uses her Inquisitor's Direction on Rigel, figuring that since he is up against two of the toothy nuisances, he could use the burst.
"Expect them to pile on."

Syeira Cretu |

Sorry, I was on vacation the last 2 weeks. I thought I posted something but I apparently missed this game
Syeira rushes in behind her comrades. Seeing Rigel surrounded by the goblins and figuring the dwarf can take care of herself, Syeira points at one of the two of them and utters "Kesem Teel," as two balls fly from her fingertips into the creatures.

With a bunch of over dramatic screaming, one of the goblins is struck by those mystical bolts and sent flying backwards, dead, along with two blaster marks, tight enough groups you know Syeira was not raised by the sand people.
As Runt is using her Inquisitor's Direction [tm] on Rigel, it now falls to Rigel to finish off one of the remaining two goblins, though the one still in front of him would make a good target

Rigel Pordyras |

Feeling a burst of energy infusing him, Rigel felt the fight slow down as the magical bolts blasted one of the goblins in front of him. Turning back, he saw the sorceress' dark eyes on the blasted creature. He grinned and waved his thanks, turning back to the remaining foe by him. His movements seeming quicker, he hacked and sliced at the creature, hoping to bring another of their enemy low.
