Round 2 - Initiative 16
HP 17/17 Channels 4/4 Firebolts 5/6
Gorgoron charges in to the morass of goblins, hurtling fire from his hands as he goes.
Move to N12, Firebolt at R15 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 vs. Touch.1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6 damage.
Alyoma
Round 2, Init 12
Alyoma sighs in fustration.
"Star-blasted runts, stay still!" she mutters.
Eyeing the farthest goblin, she hurls a bolt of force at it.
"That should work," she comments.
3/5 1st level spells, 4/6 Minute Meteors

First Round-Flit moves to M9 and shoots at the Goblin in O12

Round 2-
Grinning maliciously as his bolt strikes the Goblin, Flit takes a step back and begins to reload.
5-foot step to M8 and reload

Sorry about the short delay in updating Flitter's actions to the current round; my IC thread keeps inexplicably disappearing from my focus list, so I keep not being able to see if there's been a post without actively popping the game thread open to the last page.
Flitter races in agonst the others, and with a well placed shot, buries a bolt deep into the side of a whimpering goblin.
Once delcaration for the second round after the surprise round finishes I can resolve. Think we still need Tardek and Dehrisan. I'll resolve by early tomorrow morning at the latest and have them delay if they haven't had a chance to post by then. Dern time zones...
Ringtail
Initiative order (trying not to lose it):
Tardek 25a
Goblins 25b
Ansruath 19
Gorgoron 16
Flitter and Dehrisan 14
Alyoma 12
MAP (let's not lose this either)
Tardek quickly grabs and pulls a mace, and with one solid swing, the heavy, steel head cracks upside a goblin skull with a sickening thwack, dropping it to the floor in an unconcious heap. A goblins chitters incoherantly as its ally drops before the halforc, and with a snarl rushes forward, standing over the limp form of its comrade as it tries to gouge out the alchemist's eye with a pair of glassworking tongs, coated in molten hot goo.
Touch attack on Tardek:1d20 - 2 ⇒ (9) - 2 = 7
Fire damage if a hit:1d4 ⇒ 2
But this goblin proves to be as shamelessly inept as the others. Flitters heavily wounded quarry slides off of the table and starts to limp away, swift for his size, but with how far he is from the exit, likely not swift enough. Another goblin hops off a table and zips beneath another to take vengence on Ansruath for his fallen compatriot, likewise weilding a makeshift weapon of hot tongs.
Touch attack on Ansruath:1d20 - 2 ⇒ (19) - 2 = 17
Fire damage if a hit:1d4 ⇒ 3
The glassmaking tools drip white hot liquid between the crevices in the half-elven warrior's armor, sizzling as it burns the flesh beneath, in what will surely leave a gruesome scar. As that happens another greenskinned cretin presses forward, grabbing at half-complete glasswork on the tables as he goes, hurling a handful at Tardek, but stopping short of reaching the group.
Attack on Tardek:1d20 - 1 ⇒ (13) - 1 = 12
Piercing and slashing damage if a hit:1d3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Fortunately for your party he is a terrible shot and the glass shatters about the floor midway between you. The final goblin, the one which ran through the double doors at the far end of the room, is lost from sight, though his cries for assistance echo throughout the furnace room. As Ansruath is about to move forward his foe had already found its way to him. Another expert slash from the swordsman leaves another felled goblin in his wake as he continues to press onward. Seeing the goblin he was about to attack be felled by his ally, Gorgoron has but one clear target. Sarenrae answers his call in the form of purifying flames, which scorch a vile goblin who has to stagger with effort to remain on his feat. Flitter steps back to reload his trusty crossbow while Dehrisan hisses another arcane sleeping curse.
Goblin will save:1d20 - 1 ⇒ (8) - 1 = 7
The goblin assualting Tardek sways weakly before crumpling atop his friend, snoring loudly before he ever touches the ground.
As always the moving and deaths of enemies changed the conditions somehwat as turns were reached, so I tried to stay in line with people's wishes as much as possible, if there was something that went differently than you would perfer, just let me know and it can be retroactively fixed. That resolves that round, save for Alyoma. Now that there are two sleeping goblins, and two disabled goblins, I was unable to infer which she would most likely like to attack; magic missile for a sure kill on a disabled bugger, or to help mop up those that are sleeping, or if she even would like to spend a magic missle at this point. Alyoma, please let me know if you action has changed any since the state of the battle ha drasticly changed with your next declaration and we'll put it at the start of the next resolution.
Alyoma
No change in my action. I'll drop the farthest away goblin with a Magic Missile.
Round 3, Init 12
Alyoma looks approvingly at the carnage her companions have brought to the goblins.
"Be careful, one has run away to get others, no doubt," she warns.
Hard to see what my next action will be since I go last.
Either she'll take out her club and help finish off the sleeping goblins, or she'll move forward (if the goblins are all finished) and look at the blue Wtf!? marker.
3/5 1st level spells, 4/6 Minute Meteors
Club attack, if needed: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21

Crit Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 2
OR
Local Knowledge (to identify who is in chair): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
I'll be going on vacation now, and might be out of communication for a week. I should have at least tomorrow's post.
Gorgoron
Gorgoron shouts, "Can we take one prisoner this time?" He moves to the side of the second sleeping goblin, and binds it's hands.
Move to O8 and secure the goblin sleeping at O9.
Tardek Skarn
Round 3, Init 25
Tardek shakes his head at Ansruath's eagerness, and moves down the furnace room to examine the body shrouded in ice, sheathing his mace as he goes.
'What in the name of god happened here? Can anyone identify this man? I think I know who he is.'
Heal check to identify exactly how he died, and how long he's been dead. 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Ringtail
With the immediate threat dealt with we can move off of intiative, but with the goblin which fled the reprieve may be short lived.
Ansruath quickly ends the life of the unconscious goblin form before him with a sharp thrust of his curved blade as Gorgoron shouts and moves to the final goblin, easily binding him within his own fetid armor made of leather straps as he stirs and begins to come out of Dehrisan's sleeping curse. Many goblin bodies now litter the floor of the glassmaking room, so dead, some merely gravely wounded. Tardek and Alyoma move to the body of the plump noble encased in a thick layer of glass. Close up, the makeshift statuary is even more gruesome. Rivulets of blood have been locked in place, leaking from arrow-gauged eye sockets, and organs from the man's disemboweled stomach press sickeningly against their glass casing.
Dehrisan
"Despite what various proverbs might tell us, Ansruath, our elders aren't always right." Dherisan shakes his head as he presses a hand against the glass tomb. He forces his lurching gut back down as he regards the the morbid trophy - for what other purpose could such a display serve? "This cannot stand. The man needs proper funeral rights. Goblins did not engineer this..." He runs a finger along the surface of the case, speaking the last words to himself as much as to his companions. "Perhaps our survivor can tell us who did."
Ringtail
As if on cue, the goblin which Gorgoron bound using its own ragged armor shakes himself awake. The little green-skinned monster is wide and starts thrashing about, kicking erratically, albeit futilely, and gibbering, frightened.
Ansruath
Moving toward the the others Ansruath says "In this case he is right my grandfather is over 200 years old. Most of that time he was a warrior. Looking at the body he shakes his head " Now I know goblins are sick but I really do not think they are smart enough or sadistic enough to do something like this."
I checked the ages of people I made Tardek 29 if you are younger I will change it and I put Alyoma at 22 his grandfather is older than all of us put together.
Dehrisan
Dherisan immediately steps towards the creature, his staff rapping harshly with every stride. An arm swoops down to take the creature by what passes for a collar on its armor as Ember issues a throaty growl. He addresses the creature in its own tongue. "I'm afraid what I've witnessed here has robbed me of any desire to be cordial, so it would be in your best interest to answer my questions frankly. How long have you been here, and who has been leading you?"
Ringtail
I know, right? The dice gods have made their decision, though. Luckily I'm sure someone can succeed on a DC 10 to give you an aid another. Looks like Ansruath is online right now to try. And Ember can try, albeit at a -4 for being smaller than the goblin, but with a +2 for being decidedly dog-like.
Dehrisan
Ember's roll:1d20 - 4 ⇒ (17) - 4 = 13
[ooc]Technically, though, foxes are Small creature, the same size category as goblins. If you still want to add in the -4, I totally understand, because they're a different kind of small, but otherwise, the roll should be 2 higher than whatever the roller indicates.
Ansruath
I was going to walk over and look scary behind him. Guess I will go do that now.
Ansruath walks up next to Dehrisan and grins at the little goblin as he begins to clean his blade and than sharpen it. "I really do not know what Dehrisan said but I can give a good guess I would speak if I was you if not well he will be the least of your problems."
Intimidate Check 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (18) + 9 = 27
If I do not add the +4 from being bigger just make it a 23.

I thought they were tiny. My apologies.

Oh yeah; its certianly compliant now!
When Dehrisan first scoops up the goblin by the collar its expression hardens with a grim determination. After seeing the snarling fox and Ansruath's powerful frame it quickly changes its mind however, his expression wavering, and starts to snivel, and looks as though it might start pleading and full out bawling at any moment.

During the time that Dehrisan is questioning the captive I'll need perception checks from the group.
Gorgoron
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Tardek Skarn
'It is a misguided man who thinks success brings wisdom. It is a blind man who things age brings it either,' Tardek mutters to himself as he listens to Dehrisan interrogate the goblin as he looks over the glass, wondering if he could some how weaken it with a concoction so that the body could be recovered. Craft alchemy? 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13
Perception 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Ringtail
Stealth (distance to the majority of the group factored in):1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19
Stealth (distance factored in again):1d20 + 17 ⇒ (18) + 17 = 35
Success on the perception indicates action on the surprise round with the enemy.
Gorgoron
Initiative?
Ringtail
Yes; initiative - I'll post order soon enough, after I add the new enemies to the map and while people post their actions If you would like to roll with yours before I get it up, feel free. If you succeeded on the perception above, please post a standard action surprise round. Forgive any typos or errors I will make over the next couple of days - I split my right ring finger down the center of the first digit, so with it covered with a thick bandage it is rather hard to type.
Ringtail
He'd still be entitled to a perception check; perhaps with a circumstance penalty for being distracted, whough with the DC being fairly difficult it seems more than likely. And, no, not really an awesome story. I was doing some heavy cleaning and while picking up some trash I had failed to notice an old blade hiding beneath some junk and it split my finger vertically a good chunk of the way down my fingernail. Luckily I had a tetnus shot about a year ago, so I poured some antiseptic on it and wrapped it up. It sould be fine soon enough, assuming it doesn't get infected. I'd rather not have to have dead flesh lanced off my finger again. *Is accident prone.*

Goblins 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Initiative in order:
26 Goblins - Can act on surprise
24 Ansruath - Can act on surprise (albeit barely)
17 Gorgoron - Can act on surprise
16 Tardek - No surprise round
14 Flitter - Can definately act on surprise
12 Dehrisan - Just a bit shy of the DC, no surprise
9 Archer - Not a good place to be in initiative when outnumbered
6 Alyoma - No surprise round
Flitter Whistle
As Flit catches sight of the oncoming threat, he spins on the spot before letting lose a yell. "COMPANY!" Moving forward, to get a better shot, Flit sights down the length of his Crossbow, a grin splitting his lips. "So you are the Half-Elf running with the Green Skins hmm? Nice to meet you. Come in and I'll give you a taste of this here bolt!"
Move to U-20
Gorgoron
Abandoning the bound goblin for the time being, Gorgoron casts Protection from Evil, and then brings his sword and shield to bear.
Gorgoron's casting of Bless would have lasted 2 minutes from the time it was invoked. How long has it been, and would the spell still be in affect?
Ringtail
The first fight only lasted a handful of rounds and the interogation took a minute at most. I'm comfortable allowing Bless to still be active for roughly another minute. I'll try to resolve the surprise round around 4PM central this afternoon. I've got a packed day.
Ringtail
The goblins that were lurking by the door burst into the room, revealing themselves to all within. Behind where they stood, everyone can now see a half-elf wearing well made clothing and gripping a composite bow. Ansruath immediately starts forward, heading toward the new foes as Gorgoron prays for a protective shell of divine energies. Flitter moves to a better position to fire from and taunts the half-Tian. His eyebrow twitches as he scowls and raises his chin in a superior fashion, stepping into the room and pulling back to take a shot at Flitter.
"A crossbow, and not even a repeater? How crude- such a weapon requires no finesse, no talent. If you are going to pretend to be an archer at least get rid of that toy!"
Attack on Flitter's AC with an extra 4 from cover via the goblin (using perfect strike, use the higher of the two attack rolls):
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (14) + 9 = 23
Damage if a hit:1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
That concludes the surprise round. Everyone can declare for the 2nd round.
Flitter Whistle
"Son of a... Shut your gob ya big thug!"
Flit screams in shock and clutches at the arrow stuck in his thigh, before ripping it free. Glaring, he steadies himself, before sighting down the crossbow at the Goblin before him.
"I'm coming for you bastard!"
Grinning, he took a deep breath, before releasing it slowly.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 121d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
