"Hooot! It's too hooot!" Shardra yells.
Shardra moves up to the door and glares at the half-orc that sent the fireball at the party. She focuses on the half-orc, who slowly feels a sensation of dread close in on him.
If the half-orc's already downed by the attacks of her allies, Shardra instead focuses her misfortune hex on the nearest living enemy.
| DM Stylz |
With the combined efforts of the group, the half-orc sorcerer falls to an onslaught directed at him. The robot, also goes down to to a hail of arrows.

Unless anyone can pinpoint him, he flees.
The two thugs stand there, slightly dumbfounded at the situation.
Thank you...for saving us. We didn't really want to fight. Please let us go
You can tell they were more or less forced into it.

Once aall the chaos of battle has died down, Ingret looks at you guys,
Thanks for the help, even though you get my place of business blasted by a fireball, she sighs. I doubt this will be the last we have heard from the Technic League. They are stubborn as hell, and will keep after this until they get what they want, as she eyes Kajal. You guys must go, and go quickly, before more hell comes

”Bug’s butt! The whipper got away.” Kajal looks at the street and then shrugs, until he remembers that he could cast see invisibility. Then again, he alone wouldn’t be able to kill the runner, so he shrugs again.
Kajal glances at the others in the tavern and replies to Géatan: ”I believe the Technic League is after the same artifact. They want to use it for some sinister purpose, undoubtedly! They will probably follow us. But don’t worry, Ingret Jor, we won’t let anything important fall to their hands.” Kajal takes a few steps inside the tavern and eyes the robot and the fallen half-orc outside. ”I don’t need any healing and neither does Wiener – right? – so I shall examine what this half-orc dropped... Oh, you two, run along and try to be more resistant next time?” he says to the two thugs and pats one on the head.
Kajal then sees if the half-orc has anything usable. He also examines the robot and tries to find out what the heck it is.
DM: If there’s magic items, Kajal uses spellcraft (+9) to identify them. I also assume that we have the Thread of Silver, right? So he’ll use that to help with identifying the robot (also, Knowledge (egineering) +10).

The group, heals up and heads out using the directions provided by the Jor family journal.
After three days of travel, you locate a crashsite, surrounded by gnarled trees.
Like a rotting gourd, a rounded metal ruin lies atop a low rise. In numerous places its surface is punctured—sometimes buckled inward as though something had struck it from the outside, and other times flared out as though something within had violently escaped. A ring of gnarled trees grows around the site, as if it were an oasis in the deserted wasteland of Sovereign’s Reach.
The walls of the ravine are flecked with slivers of silvery metal—all that remains of a starship piece that fragmented and melted during the crash, showering the area in molten shrapnel.

After they arrive at the crash site, Kajal is quite interested in it since he doesn’t think he’s ever seen anything quite like it before. ”Ooh, this looks like a nice one,” he says and walks around a bit. He then takes out the journal and reads the last note about the trip to the place. ”Hmm, yes... According to the journal, the old dwarf threw the SKy Key into a pit. Shall we go find it?”
Kajal is about to leave but then mumbles to himself: ”Ah, this is the kind of situation where earth elementals usually attack... Though maybe there would be metal elementals here. Do those even exist? Or would robots be counted as such things?” He then takes out a wand and uses it to cast mage armor on himself.
”All ready?” asks Kajal and starts following the instructions of the book. First order of business: get inside and find a door.

Omrax, did you cast something or use a class ability? If so please let me know which one
Geatan looks at the battery, and can figure out that with a little work and time, he can drain the battery of some of its charge and give a timeworn object a temporary charge.
Kajal, moves forward, and sees that this strange structure has flat floors, but the ceilings curve upward towards the center of the structure, creating rooms that slope from 10 to 20 feet in height.
Nothing is seen by Kajal, there are openings in the structure, one to the west which appears to be where a door used to be, and a larger opening strait ahead. Around the corner to the east, there is another opening to the northeast.

”Jaggar, I believe that is what it means. There are better ways to get around, however. I’m not sure why one would need a thing such as this, marvelous though it is.”
Kajal continues on his way and occasionally pokes things as he goes.
| DM Stylz |
I will leave the blue path line on the map, as it will not interfere with what I am doing.
Kajal, takes but a few steps into the opening, and she hears something mechanical whirring around her. She catches a glimpse of a turret poking from the ceiling. She has no time to react, as a plasma laser come streaking towards her.

Kajal Lasikoppa

”Gah!” Kajal takes a couple of steps back and hides behind a wall after the searing attack. ”How interesting. I think there was something about this kind of thing in the guide... It’s probably a trap. So first I need to find it... Or did I already do that? Well, I mean I found the actual trap, but not the trigger mechanism. And then I can disable it, possibly.” Kajal takes out the Thread of Silver and starts reading it.

Kajal grabs his thieves tools and deftly manages to disarm the rather nasty trap ahead. Continuing on the path that was intended to take, Kajal goes forward, the other follow. As soon as everyone is gathered, you all start to hear a high pitch whir, and then you all start to rise in the air, towards the northeast. You all slam into the curved ceiling, 10' in the air.
