...Oh yeah. Sometimes I’m almost as unobservant as my character. Sorry about that!
Kajal stops for a moment and seems to ponder about something. ”Oh! Yes, yes, I see. This one was odd, it seems like a magic trap, but I’ll check the book just in case.” Kajal reads the Thread of Silver again and tries to disarm the gravity trap.
Disable Device: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (7) + 21 = 28
”Please and thank you,” he says to Shardra.
CLW wand: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Kajal looks ahead a bit warily. ”I believe I have a better plan of advancement. I’ll be a bit more thorough when searching for traps. And please stay a few steps behind me, so if I still step into something inappropriate, at least everyone won’t suffer because of it,” he states and continues examining the place.
So, in addition to the regular perception check, Kajal will now also take ten. It should just take twice as long.

Kajal quickly takes a step back and eyes the turret. ”Oh my, is the place filled with these things?” he whispers, opens the book again and starts working on getting this one disabled as well.
Disable Device: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (11) + 21 = 32
If it’s okay, we could automate this trap-cleaning. Otherwise it’ll take a lot of time IRL.

Kajal, you try to disable the turret on the final stretch of curved hallway, but you place you hand down in the wrong area and the turret locks onto your position and fires a blast at you. It locks onto you, and the blast fires through your armor and blasts you inches from your heart.
You start to fall into unconsciousness, but manage to stay upright somehow.
1d20 + 16 ⇒ (20) + 16 = 366d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 3, 5, 4, 2) = 18

”Apologies,” says Kajal, by now sure that his companions don’t care about his bad luck with the strange contraptions. He looks at the burn in his side and then at Shardra. ”I have to ask for some healing again... These are quite painful, I must say.”
Provided Shradra is okay with healing again:
4 charges from Shardra’s CLW wand: 4d8 + 4 ⇒ (6, 3, 6, 7) + 4 = 26
Kajal eyes the turret and attempts to disable it again.

Omrax was prepared to help Kajal again, but sees the wand of Shradra works just as well.
"Kajal, take care as those last shots were very close to vital organs. We need you in one piece to make it through this maze of technology.
He emphasizes the last word with disdain.

"I agree with the other halfbreed. Do take care, should some manner of injury befall you where you would be unable to continue, I wont be able to share drinks with you at the tavern afterwards to tell stories of this adventure to the ladies." Jaggar says as he readies for the next obstacle.

Kajal is engrossed studying the alien things they come across and reads the Thread of Silver, barely paying attention to anything else.
I’ll use the book to find out more information about this location. Especially the cameras, could we use those to see to places we haven’t been in yet?

Kajal shares the book with Géatan and explains some stuff from it because she likes explaining. To Shardra she replies: ”I shall try, but sometimes these things just don’t work like I want them to. It can be like trying to control a malignant spirit, if this comparison would make sense. I have met some ghosts that, while they were able to reason, were quite unreasonable. I like to keep my life energy inside myself, for one, which did not appease the ghosts.”

Kajal hastens the party while Omrax buffs himself for the potential onslaught forthcoming. Kajal, notices that these robots are what are known as fabricator robots. They don't possess any sort of force field to absorb damage, but they can work together to break down load or complete a task very efficiently.
One question, make it count :)
The robots all move forward, and try to tear at the intruders.

Shardra focuses on the natural energy around her. She senses the presence of the weeds that have forced their way inside the alien structure, and boosts them with magic energy to rapidly speed up their growth. The weeds try to wrap themselves around the majority of the constructs, which would keep the unnatural enemies in place.
