Barnabus and Dalron lets their respective ranged attacks fly. Both of them unfortunately miss the mark. The remaining hobgoblin steps up to block the opening and attacks out at Brunner.

Brunner, beaten and battered swings his hammer. Fortunately, the hobgoblin ducked from Dalrons arrow leaving him slightly unaware of the hammer. It strikes him true in his ribs, you hear multiple cracks followed by the exhale from the hobgoblin with blood spouting from its mouth. He crumples to the ground lifeless.

If/When the party entered the room you come into a 20 ft wide by 30 ft deep room. The entry way you came through is on the south end of the room. There are three different openings. On the east wall there is hall away. To the west there are two paths. The first on at the corner of the south and west wall is a staircase that leads down ten, and moving north up the west wall you find a dark tunnel that slopes down.

Looking around this room you see a large wooden table and three chairs that have been shuffled around and tipped over from the hobgoblins dueling before the fight. Searching the Hobgoblins you friend two longswords, two studded leather armors, two light steel shields, and a key. In the north east corner of this room you find a large chest.

Congrats guys, that was one heck of a battle. I cannot believe how bad some of those rolls were. Thank goodness for the wand that was found, that really was a saving grace. It is up to you to do what you would like, but you remember the goblin told you to go up then left for find Darax and Noak.

Scarlet slowly gets up and prods the two hobgoblins to be sure they are dead. He then strips them and prepares their equipment for looting.

Scarlet debates with himself on putting one of the studded leather armors on but decides against it. He then picks up the key. "Maybe this opens the chest over there."

Barnabus detects magic on the chest and finds nothing magical about it. As he is examining the chest Scarlet looks it over then holds his arm out keeping Barnabus from getting closer to the chest. Scarlet finds that this chest is trapped, and it is trapped with a rather lethal one. Any wrong move in the slightest will trigger the trap. Scarlet is able to disarm the trap.

Checking the chest, Scarlet notices that it is indeed locked. Trying the key, the party hears a click as it unlocks the chest. Looking inside, Scarlet finds a nice catch of gear within.

Scarlet starts to unload the chest and this is what he brings out. A fine set up Studded Leather Armor, a Longsword with ivy ingrained through the blade that leads to the ivy leaf guard. There are two separate quivers of arrows. The first one has 10 silver arrows within, the second has 20 blunt arrows. Also within are two bedrolls, four bottles of wine, flint & steel, a small steel mirror, 50-foot silk rope, a cracked hourglass that leaks sand, a belt pouch with 82 gold, a belt pouch with 47 silver, a belt pouch of 312 copper.

Brunner goes a quick lap around the room and checks out the three other entries into this room.
Going to the hall to the east you hear and see nothing, 15 feet into the hall way it takes a turn south.
Going to the tunnel you notice that this is an even tighter cramped spot that the way the party just came from. For Brunner and Barnabus you would be able to stand straight, but everyone else would need to crouch.
Going to the stairs you see that it descends down 10 feet into a lower level. You don’t hear anything but you see the flicker of light coming from that room.
