Brunner walks to the edge of the decent. He looks down and sees the bottom of it. It only angles down about 40 feet before it stops. You aren’t sure yet, but there is something possibly familiar about the building structure of this mine.

Scarlet looks over the goblin laying on the ground. He doesn’t have much on him. His short bow is still clenched in his hand, a dagger at his waist, and a quiver of 15 arrows at his waist on the other side.

I assume that it is safe to say that @Scarlet opens the door?

Is that what you really want to do?

Uness anyone is doing anything else...

Scaret reaches out, opens the door, and dodges out of the way.

At the same time Dalron lets loose an arrow that momentarily lights up the room within before sinking into the head of a goblin at the rear of the room. As the room is shortly lit up you see a 20x20 room with an upended table in the middle of the room with one goblin standing behind it. You see a small pool of blood forming off to the side of the table, its safe to assume it is from the goblin Dalron shot.

The part of the room you are standing on is the elevated end of the entry room. This is a 15x15 space with a 5 foot hallway that leads to the door Scarlet just opened.

The light, and sudden death of his friend, seems to have startled the goblin and he briefly forgets what he was going to do.

I like Barnabus idea to distract them with the light spell. Mechanically it stoped their readied actions.
