Knowing that his hex won't work again on the same target Rerdahl tries to pay attention to which man is which. The slumber will only last for a few seconds, but the man will have to stand and retrieve his weapons. Rerdahl moves forward and targets another man with his hex. {ooc]Orange?

Yeah, but that'd be a waste of crowd control, since he's not likely to die in one hit. Besides, being prone actually gives a penalty to ranged if I remember right.
Rikiru curses under his breath, flips another shuriken into his palm and throws it.

Correct that prone gives him +4 to AC vs missiles. However, unconscious negates any DEX bonus that he had and adds an additional -5 to AC for the Helpless condition. (DEX of 0) And you get your sneak attack damage. Pity nobody is close enough for CDG, but that draws an AoO.

On her turn, Mina will drop prone to make herself a harder target for the bows. Assuming shield is still active, she'll begin casting summon monster I (a full-round action).

Out of nowhere, a massive rat appears next to one of the bandits and attacks the man!
In the same instant, Mina quickly speaks another word of power, and a blob of caustic liquid heads for the same foe.
A celestial dire rat appears in the spot just north of the one standing bandit (thus providing flanking with Kurra). It attempts to bite!
Dire Rat Bite: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9 - add +2 if flanking
Bite Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Mina attacks the same target with acid blast. Since this is happening at the same time as the rat attack, I'm hoping that the +4 for firing into melee won't apply.

My GOD it is painful having to use a move action to draw a weapon...
Being level 1 is just a mess. More adventures should start later. For the GM it is a test of the resilience of their players. Testing if they are worthy for the rest of the campaign

With an angry noise that's half-snarl and half-squeak, the fearsome, massive rat tries again to bite the one standing bandit.

Mina pulls out her dagger and rushes toward the still-sleeping bandit. She holds the tip to his throat. "Keep this one alive!" she says to her companions.

With the combat over Rerdahl moves up to the dying men. "We don't know if these men were truly evil. I think they could be saved."
Unless someone stops him Rerdahl will cast Stabilize on both men

Asric doesn't mind Rerdahl saving the men, but he removes their weapons and ties them up as best he can.

"We do need information, but we don't need anyone running back to their masters and warning them of our attack. If our quarry isn't dead already then they most certainly will be if we let them go."
Rikiru helps gather up the weapons and arrows, turning to Durra. "The town would appreciate these more than bandits would, I think. Is there room in your friend's pack?"

Mina assists Asric in restraining the bandits. "Evil or not, they would've been happy to kill us. We need to find out who they were hoping to get their 'ransom' for, and where she is."
She looks around at her companions. "You know, that fight went fairly well." She offers a smile. "I think we're warming up to each other."

Durra of the Gouged Eye tribe |

"My father's axe does cut like butter, doesn't it?" Durra responds to Mina and softly touches the blade.
"Of course, Rikiru. Look at him, he can carry us all if he wanted...Btw guys, I'm out of spells. But here are the rations of the day." She spoke a spell that was known by now and created 2d4 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8 Goodberries. She quickly ate two and offered the rest.
Reminder: each berry heals one hp and counts as a full day meal.

Rerdahl points to the sleeping bandit. "Disarm and wake him. He can see that we are tending to the wounds of his companions. He might be more willing to talk...."

Asric will gladly take a few of those berries. "Many thanks."

"Is anyone good at tracking?" asks Mina. "We might be able to follow their tracks back to where their 'hostage' is."

Mina bends down to look. "Well spotted, Durra!" Her gaze follows the tracks in the direction from which the bandits came.
"I suggest we go in that direction, at least until our new 'friends' decide to wake up and give us more information. I'm sure they'll be happy to do so, given a little persuading."

Rerdahl follows along knowing that he'd have trouble following his own tracks.... He watches up in the trees for any other dangers.
