Zisel Nordstrom |

Zisel scoffs. "I can move without being hindered in the snow. That's doesn't translate to stealth."
Zisel was not easy to challenge or intimidate. Not by some uppity elf, anyways. Besides, she wasn't here to die by walking into a bunch of bandits laying in wait in the snow.

'Mother' Theora Rowe |

Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
"Shhhhh!" Theora whispers suddenly, holding up one large, wrinkled hand. "I hear people, possibly arguing. That way." She points in the appropriate direction. "I'd suggest caution, dearies."

Mirri Willowthir |

Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
With the warning of people nearby, ones who might be hostile, Mirri begins moving cautiously. Sadly the unfamiliar ground and unnatural snows hinder her ability to be quiet as it crunches quietly under foot. She can only hope the voices arguing are too busy to notice her.

Zisel Nordstrom |

Zisel frowns and follows Mirri quietly, straining to hear what Theora did and failing. Maybe all that snow crunching Mirri is doing. She heeds the older woman's warnings and attempts to avoid brushing against the foliage. But of course her throat would start to tickle like a cough may be on the way...
Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11

'Mother' Theora Rowe |

Theora stealth: 1d20 ⇒ 19
For her own part, Theora moves with surprising agility for a middle-aged woman in stiff hide armour.

Grimkell son of Ogmundr |

Grimkell becomes silent upon Theora's warming. His eyes dart around, trying to find the whereabouts of the people she overheard. Still scanning the surroundings, he slowly stands up, unsheathing his sword.
Let's go, Zisel, can you take the long way around in so we can flank them if needed. he whispers, before fully focusing on his steps, trying to be as silent as possible.
stealth: 1d20 - 4 ⇒ (17) - 4 = 13

Zisel Nordstrom |

"Well, yes I can take the long way around but I promise I'll be useless in terms of 'flanking'. I'm not sure why you figure me so sturdy. I'm much more suited to sitting in the back and making sure you all don't get skinned alive."
Yeah, mechanically, this character is useless on the front lines, so I'm hoping that wasn't an in-character way of asking for a mechanical flank.

Grimkell son of Ogmundr |

naah, not mechanical flanking, the idea is to block their retreat if they try to flee, just a presence should be enough!
Grimkell looks Zisel from head to toe, rocking his head in uncertainty.
"Yeah, not the most physically fit, but definitely impressive. If they are bandits and try to flee, when they witness Jarmarcus' strenght, scare them with your strong personality." his face stays stern, but he winks.

Jamarcus Detroyce |

Taking note of slight builds of those around him, Jamarcus takes point and is unable to resist flexing a bit as he walks up.
Stealth: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (3) - 3 = 0
Jesus, that stealth roll >___>
He tries his best to be stealthy, but moving in knee deep snow quietly is not one of Jamarcus' strong suits.

Jamarcus Detroyce |

Actually no, taking a closer look at my character sheet, I'm at a +1 modifier rather than a -3..., so stealth roll of 4. Don't think that'll make too much of a difference though :P

DM Twilight |

You totally could have rolled that again with the proper modifier and I wouldn't have batted an eye :P

Working on map, Theora is the only one to get a surprise round action.

'Mother' Theora Rowe |

Surprise round:
"Sootfeather, hide." With that muttered warning, Theora puts an arrow to her bowstring and sends it past her fellows, toward the man at the front of the group. The crow takes wing, swooping low to the ground and finding a perch in a tree some distance away.
Longbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16

Theora's arrow catches the raider in his side, sinking deep into the flesh the man drops to his knees but remains alive.
Just realized I forgot to add their color outlines, they are there now though!

Jamarcus Detroyce |

Shoot first, ask questions later, I like yo' style, lady.
Examining the bandits and their armour for a moment, Jamarcus clenches his fists tightly, his weathered knuckles jutting out like small spikes of bone and cartilage.
Move action to use Martial Flexibility to gain Bleeding Attack, remaining standard action to move
With an eye on the bandits, he moves forward 10 ft with his guard up.

Mirri Willowthir |

Mirri trudges forward to get a clear line on the bandits, trusting Jamarcus to keep them off of here. She begins to chant, arcane words in an ancient elven dialect, as she scoops a wad of snow from the ground. Her hands made it into a ball which she held out on top of her flat hand. The ball started floating and then sailed in at the nearest bandit slamming into him with staggering force.
Snowball dc 15 fort negates staggered condition: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 191d6 ⇒ 3
Gonna assume that hits flat footed touch ac in my post, correct it if needed. It does cold damage.

DM Twilight |

Jamarcus, Martial Flexibility requires you to meet all of the prerequisites of whatever feat you are taking on, and Bleeding Attack shows a prerequisite of Improved Unarmed Strike. I'm not seeing Improved Unarmed Strike on your sheet, only Unarmed Strike as a Weapons Focus.
Mirri, the only description of the spell you're using I can find doesn't say anything about touch or flat-footed? Either way, that hits his AC in general.

Zisel Nordstrom |

Zisel sends a ray of frost whizzing through the air towards the front-most bandit. Or, who she assumes is a bandit. Can't be to careful here, and she's been on edge since this whole ordeal started.
"Identify yourselves!" she demanded as the concept of shooting first and asking questions later seems to take hold of the party.
Ray of Frost Atk: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
Cold Damage: 1d3 ⇒ 2

'Mother' Theora Rowe |

Round 1 (sorry, probably should have posted them together)
"I'm glad you approve, Jamarcus," Theora says wryly. She keeps a second arrow trained on the group, ready to shoot again if Zisel's demand isn't answered.
Readying an action to shoot the first enemy who moves without identifying himself (or who gives an unsatisfactory response, along the lines of 'yo we bandits lol' or the like).
Longbow: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4

DM Twilight |

Zisel yells at the bandits to identify themselves even if she casts her magic at the one in front, the same that Theora took to his knees with one shot of her bow. The man falls into the snow dead.
Mirri's snowball soars past the fallen man and slaps the one behind him in his face, bloodying his nose. Pym giggles from her location where Zisel left her, hovering in the air where she can duck behind the trees. Staying close to the treeline, she moves forward to be close to Mirri. She readies an arrow and waits for one of them to come closer.

If they were inclined to answer questions, they certainly are not now. One of the raiders plods through the snow, bellowing, until he can reach Jamarcus with his sword.
Pym's arrow hits the charging bandit, staggering him. He slows a bit coming to a stop near Jamarcus but finds he's unable to attack this round.
Theora looses her arrow at the advancing bandit but it lands ineffectively in the snow.
Initiative remains the same since they effectively acted on the Raider B's turn and they were already just ahead of him in the lineup.

Jamarcus Detroyce |

Ducking swiftly to one side, Jamarcus avoids the blade of the bandit in front of him, and takes the opportunity to deliver a punch to the bandits' ribcage.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
If this hits:
Bleed Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Mirri Willowthir |

Realizing that moving this close was not wise as she's now too close to the enemies, and unable to safely back away, Mirri begins to cast a spell, she tries to make her movements as unobtrusive as possible, and to avoid drawing attention of her enemies. Successfully avoiding attention and managing to not fumble the spell, a burst of color appears from Mirri's hands and blasts the two thugs nearby in the face.

Theora takes aim again, but the cold numbs her fingers, causing her to lose grip on the arrow too soon.
Longbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Grimkell son of Ogmundr |

"Victory already! Great work, they barely had time to do anything." he exclaims while kneeling down. With one hand, he tries to get a handle on the unconscious bandit.
"Jamarcus, could you take away his sword. Anyone, might I get some rope to tie him up?" he says, twisting one of the man's hand behind his back preparing to restrain him.
grapple(only one hand): 1d20 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (11) + 2 - 4 = 9

Jamarcus Detroyce |

Jamarcus takes a length of hemp rope from his pack and helps Grimkell secure the bandit with practiced motions and familiar knots.
Lifting the unconscious bandit to his feet by his collar, he gives Grimkell a wolfish grin.
Mind if I do the honors?
