Yes, hello, I will take the wand of grease. I can sacrifice three scrolls to cover the 75 gp value it has. What DC will the grease spell use? Mine, or does it have a different one?
As to the difficulty...I think the fact there's 6 of us is doing as much if not more about the ease of the first few encounters. Perhaps adding an extra enemy (or two if they are rather weak enemies) to each encounter might not be a bad idea, just to balance out the action economy. It's what I do when I run a group of 6 through an AP, regardless of the strength of their characters.

Wands default to 1st level and minimum int bonus required to cast spell so DC is gonna suck (DC12 I believe) but hey reflex is a common weak save.
I agree that the difficulty can be amped up a notch.but I also think the dice favored us a bit. I missed maybe 2 out of 8 swings which means ~75% of the time my 2d6+6 damage got off which is stupid good for 1st level. I was figuring on more like a 50% hit rate since my attack bonus is low and I expect the dice to go cold on me.

Those Masterwork items we got.. are the extra or counted in the 1000 gold of stuff we now have?
Meh. It makes for a good last resort if I need it, or if we're dealing with large numbers of weak things. Whatever works for prolonging the low-level caster's low spells/day.

Do you have a masterwork backpack? 50 gp to make it easier to carry stuff. Maybe upgrade your Flying Straps to masterwork while you're at it?

HP is roll here for your hit die, add in the usual con, and any favored class bonus or anything you choose. If you roll low, you get half your die instead of the roll.

Do you want to continue to worry about what all of your followers do? I know some of you said you are interested in these rules, but just the little bit we have already done I've found to be incredibly tedious, as well as slowing the game down. And that's only going to get worse now that there are so many choices. I would like to drop keeping track, and just bring things up where they contribute to the story. However, I don't want to just decide this without input from you.
While I don't particularly mind it, I've also realized that just that little bit resulted in a huge slowdown of the game - and unlike in Kingmaker, this doesn't seem to have anywhere near as much impact on the story as Kingdom Building does. Given how easily a PbP can slow down and die, I'm okay if we want to drop keeping track and just use the themes that tie into the story.

Yep. I tend to allow any knowledge check to provide some information that is appropriate. For instance, you can always use knowledge(religion) on an enemy, and it will tell you if they are undead, and if they are wearing any signs of a deity.

Hey guys, good news/bad news time. I recently joined the Army, and will be leaving for basic training in two weeks. From 09/19, I won't have internet for, at a minimum, 10 weeks (after Basic, I got to training in my specific job, which is another 16 weeks. I think I'll have internet access at that time, but I'm not 100% certain). Can I take multiattack? It requires three natural attacks, which I have...but only in hybrid or animal forms, so I'm technically ineligible in human form.

Yeah, a +1 cloak of resistance is reasonable. I'm trying to keep a slight brake on the gear for a little longer, until we can explain how you're buying stuff, but the cloak is reasonable.
That will burn the last of my level up gold (I just took the difference between level 2 and level 3 WBL, assuming I'm not sacrificing any of my current equipment). The most significant purchase I made was a wand of mage armor, along with a potion of cure light wounds and a few scrolls (endure elements and comprehend languages, mostly).
Korvak, if you want some armor buffing, just ask. That's one of the reasons I grabbed the wand.
Same goes for anyone else who doesn't use armor but finds themselves needing the AC boost.
