Sorry Silas, but even without Dex his CMD is higher and so is his AC.

Waiting on Leialoha

After Leialoha goes, if this guy is still up, I will do this (since I am next at top of round)

Oro-Tu steps back 5ft to help both Silas and Aurora maintain a flanking position and swings twice at the priest, sticking his tongue out and yelling out in a traditional tribal threat.

Attack 1: 1d20 + 17 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 17 - 2 = 30
Damage: 1d10 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 11 + 6 = 22

Attack 1: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 12 - 2 = 29
Damage: 1d10 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 11 + 6 = 21

Crit!: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (7) + 12 - 2 = 17 Not sure if this hits his flatfooted-2 AC for blind. He's raging also right for another -2?
Damage: 1d10 + 11 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 11 + 6 = 26

attacking in clear water is one thing, swimming through blood? I think I'll pass

after deciding not to dive into the bloody water Ivar runs to the edge of the pool with Oro-Tu to see what can be seen.

"foul magic, I hope we brought some of our own!"

Oro-Tu begins to set up a tripwire along the entrance to the room, "Let us get back and lure it to us if we can."

He then connects his chain to one of the bear traps he pulls from his pack, laying each and setting them on either side of the entry way (leaving a 5ft path in the middle that is safe to traverse).

Craft tripwire trap: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

That's my prep time. If you have buff spells to cast I'd do it in the last round or two of prepping so its good to go. Silas dunno how long you can hold the spell but you could probably wait until 3rd prep round to grab it. Does anyone have an issue with us trying to lure it to the entryway? Not sure if it will or not. Ivar, if you don't have any prep stuff to do, you can grab a smokestick out of my bag for when it charges.

Silas It looks like you would be able to use stealspell on a cleric, so you could actually steal buffs from Aurora and cast them as well for the other 2 rounds you have? round 1 steal buff, round 2 cast buff, round 3 steal fireball or something? For the prep phase. Aurora is going to cast moment of greatness and double all our morale bonuses, so if you want to steal and cast bless, it'd give us all +2 attack/dmg. Up to you though, just an idea. (didn't know you could steal cleric spells until just now).

Hey, Silas, I have true strike, shield of faith, life pact, bless, delay poison and lesser restoration, delay poison and liberating command left. Please take and steal the bless in round 1 for us.

Here is the plan, move back and cast water breathing on all of us (round 1; plus Silas steals and cast bless), (round 2) Moment of Greatness, and rage (round 3), (with swift for channel force/gray-flame recharge) then charge, anyone need healing, I can still channel.

My intended targets for rage is myself, Ivar and Natalie, I seem to think raging would not work well for healing or spells so leaving Silas out.

Total bonuses are Rage +4 morale str/con +2 will saves, -2 AC. Prayer still going +1 Luck Atk/Dam Sav, Warmind +1 insight atk/dodge ac/+10 move (Ivar), Bulls Strength (myself - enhancement), Bless +2 Atk morale, Water Breathing.

Silas steps up next to Aurora and begins to sing, touching her gently and then casting Bless amongst us all.

I moved Ivar back with the group, he helped Oro-Tu move the traps and then checked his pistols, that should cover two or three rounds, I assume Aurora cast rage on Ivar.

Ivar places himself beside Oro-tu, as the crew finalizes the well laid trap, Ivar notices the shrine quake and pieces of the roof cave in, more to himself, he says out loud as he looks forward and then back.

"we need to move! Over the trap or up the stairs, one way or another, we need to get out of here!"

the PFSRD wrote:

Oro-Tu growls as the temple begins to collapse, fouling his plan to trap the monster. Not having time to retrieve both of the bear traps, he yells, "Run!" and follows behind to make sure everyone gets out safely, pulling the chain attached to one bear trap with him.

I refuse to let both bear traps get buried!! lol. We are only about 60feet from the entrance, so everyone should be able to make it out safely, assuming Leialoha hasted us for the +30ft speed.

Oro-Tu skids to a halt, "Turn around! Go!"

He leads the way, using his polearm to snap the tripwire he set as he runs for the pool to prevent anyone from tripping on it.

For Leialoha, hope you don't mind me posting what you'd do to prep for the big fight, but I think you'd do this: round 1, mage armor. round 2, mirror image. round 3, haste everyone. That also gives everyone plenty of speed to make it to the pool since we have to turn around.

if I understand right Aurora cast rage, luck, warmind and bless on Ivar

As Ivar dives into the water, glad the cloak begins its transformation, he attempts to escape the shark but ii is too late, seeing being attacked is inevitable he thrusts Rhea at the shark in frustration before being bitten.

so HP 70, now 33, AC 29, attacks with axe, power attack

waraxe attack: 1d20 + 20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 20 + 1 = 27 for damage: 1d10 + 15 ⇒ (10) + 15 = 25

I know we are waiting on Leialoha to confirm preperatory round actions, but will go ahead anyway since any changes won't really impact oro-tu.

Oro-Tu curses as Ivar is hit, finding it strange to be able to speak and breathe in the water. He swims forward, stabbing with the end of his polearm at the shark, as his people have done for ages, a familiar and trained movement to the Tulita. (PA, reckless)

Swim: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

Attack(piercing): 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (17) + 20 = 37

if I understand right Aurora cast rage, luck, warmind and bless and Leialoha cast haste, so HP 33, AC 26, full attack attacks with axe and tail power attack, grappled

at least I didn’t die behind a plow…hope this helps the crew… always wanted to kill a demi-god

Ivar, realizing struggling will just make the bite worse, focusing on doing as much damage to the shark as possible, takes the offensive and attacks the sharks exposed gills with his axe, and feeling the odd sensation of a tail, strikes at the sharks exposed side,

waraxe attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (15) + 19 = 34 for damage: 1d10 + 15 ⇒ (5) + 15 = 20
waraxe attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (20) + 19 = 39 for damage: 1d10 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19
waraxe attack: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (13) + 14 = 27 for damage: 1d10 + 15 ⇒ (4) + 15 = 19
tail attack: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (7) + 15 = 22 for damage: 1d6 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
confirm crit. attack: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (4) + 19 = 23 for damage: 2d10 + 15 + 15 ⇒ (5, 2) + 15 + 15 = 37
crap

the math:

Attack axe= 19/14 [+7 /2 base + 7 str. +1 focus, + 2 training, + 1 magic + 1 luck + 1 insight + 2 bless + 1 haste -2 PA -2 grappled ]
Attack tail = 15[+7 base + 7 str. + 1 luck + 1 insight + 2 bless + 1 haste -2 PA -2 grappled ]

911 Silas!!!, I have a spell that will get Ivar out of the Grapple and its immediate action to cast, but as I am raged, I cant focus on anything for cast spells, just attacking until its dead, I need you to cast the spell: I have 2 Liberating Commands prepared

School transmutation; Level bard 1, cleric/oracle 1, druid 1, paladin 1, ranger 1, sorcerer/wizard 1; Casting Time 1 immediate action
Components V; Range close (25 ft. + 5 ft./2 levels); Target one creature
Duration instantaneous

If the target is bound, grappled, or otherwise restrained, he may make an Escape Artist check to escape as an immediate action. He gains a competence bonus on this check equal to twice your caster level (maximum +20). This spell has no effect if the target could not get free by using the Escape Artist skill (for example, if he were under the effects of a hold person spell or paralyzed by Strength damage).

grapple condition dex @-4 so I think it looks something like this

Ivar feels the effect of Silas' spell and he attempts to get away from the shark.

escape artist: 1d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (18) + 14 - 2 = 30

Female Human (Ulfen Viking Dame) 79816xp Cleric of Jaren Falkynjagger 8/Warpriest (CoTF) 1 ; HP 83, Init +2, AC: 24 /T: 13 /F: 22; Fort:+11/ Ref:+5/ Will:+13; Per: +13; BAB: +6, CMB: +10, CMD: 23

While Grappled::
when a person is grappled, both the grappler and the victim gain the grappled condition; the grappler gains +5 to maintain the grapple to CMB only. A grappled opponent may do several actions while grappled, he may attempt to break free as a standard action or attempt to grapple his foe gaining control of the grapple as a standard action, both require him to make a CMB check vs. CMD normally.

While Grappled::
Other actions he may take, he may attempt any action that does not require 2 hands, that is any immediate, free, swift, standard, move, or full round action and is not limited to a small weapon, he can attack as a standard or full round action with any light or one handed weapon with a -2 penalty to the attack. In the alternative, a grappled opponent may attempt to cast a spell with a verbal/material component as long as the material component is in hand, somatic component spells fail, to cast the spell, the concentration is 10 + Grappler's last CMB score + spell level, of course that's pretty hard to do considering.

While Grappled::
Grappled condition imposes the following penalty's: -4 Dex (but you are not flatfooted, but you do loose your dex to Armor only), No AAo allowed, cannot move except move actions (ie drawing a weapon, potion, ect, especially with a haversack), -2 to attack/cmb (except for getting out of grapple), no two handed actions, can not hide from grappling foe (really?), however, if the victim becomes invisible he gains a +2 circumstance bonus to CMD to avoid being grappled. (like that would ever work).

While Grappled::
If someone else was to grapple the grappling creature, it would gain the grappled condition and take the above penalties granting its victim a bonus to break free. Also, multiple opponents with no limit may attempt to aide another to help him break free. (so we all grab Ivar and pull, hoping we dont pull off a arm or a leg in the process.)

While Pinned::
Cannot move at all, Looses Dex - but not flat footed yet, -4 AC additionally, can still attempt to escape/break free, can take verbal and mental actions only, cannot cast using material or somatic components and must still make the above concetration check to cast, this condition replaces the grappled condition rules and penalties when in effect and does not stack. Getting unpinned requires you to succeed at only one check to escape.

While Grappled::
Fido can take his bone and go home at up to half his move, you being the bone. If Fido attempt to drop you into a hole or other hazard, you get a immediate attempt to break free at +4 bonus.

please note: you add your cmb to the +14 when calculating your check. be sure to include the raged strength in the calculation and any feats or atk bonuses like bless at +2 and luck +1
