The group hurries to the end of the tunnel to where the secret door they broke down is located. It seems Krant must have gone upstairs as there is more noise and sounds of activity upstairs than down on the level the team currently finds themselves.

The team quickly searches the lower level and finds no one, even in the barracks. They ascend the southern stairs and end up in the meeting room on the first floor. The door to the hallway is closed but not locked. The party can hear movement of people moving through the hallway on the other side of the door.

Fahd kicks the door in and the team rushes into the hallway. There is no one there but they hear the doors to the prayer room to the east just close and see tables and chairs and barrels piled up in front of the double doors leading outside into the courtyard and out of the temple.
i must commend you all for not following the intended flow of the module. go ahead and place yourselves in the hallway where you would like to be.

Fahd checks the door and the door is open. He swings the door open and inside the team can see four robed men armed with weapons standing iin front of Krant who is at the top of the altar where you once took your vows.
"Come in and die you betrayers! You think I would let you leave easily? They only way to escape is through me. That will not an easy task. I will show you and the others what the penalty is for betraying the faith! Kill them!

Tametomo sends two quick arrows at the front line foes and misses them but allows his companions to get into position. As Rye and Darvik enter the fray they see acolytes on the sides of the room waiting for them to enter.
As Rye enters the green acolyte strikes out...

Darvik simply walks forward and eviscerates the foe to his front with a sword strike and then finishes him off with a shield bash and the man crumples to the ground bleeding out...
while the red acolyte moves and attacks the half orc...

@Darvik- seems we both misread that. yes it is two HP. I will adjudicate via initiative order. Will post baddie actions and adjust for Tyranius when he posts if he derails their plans just to move this along
Chella tells the purple foe to flee and he WIL: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10 and he turns to run back the way he came which allows Fahd to hit him in the back of the neck twice and thus knocking him out...
Tametomo takes a step forward and sends two arrows into the chest of the brown foe attacking Rye green was killed earlier, even with cover you hit the brown foe sending him to meet Razmir in the afterlife...yes that is Krant
Rye seems to be running out of opponents after initially being almost surrounded and swings his weapon at red foe cutting him down with one hit...
