It was never my intention to poke fun at or offend you, having done so, I apologize. However, I cannot take back what I said, nor would I.
When you join a text based interactive game with other live players, it's presumed that we've all agreed to follow a number of common rules, the first of which is, yes, respect your fellow players and be polite. The second is that without clarity and understanding, there is no game. When you belittled a fellow player for asking for clarification when you, as you've consistently done since the recruitment process began, failed to even try to use the language we've all agreed to by default in order to minimize misunderstanding, the great enemy of text based play, you broke both rules #1 and #2. This is NOT class.
It is also neither classy nor polite to decide to "take your ball and go home" just because you disagree with someone. Again, I am sorry you were offended. I didn't mean for that happen, and I could have definitely aired my own grievance in a more private manner using more carefully picked words. My sentiment, however, was an honest one and I won't apologize for that.
That said, despite my personal misgivings regarding your spelling and grammar, I like Lady Rosalyn as a character. I found her motives interesting as well as her interaction. I really would hate it if you left the game over what, in the end, is a pretty petty disagreement. If you return, certainly I can agree to attempt to keep my snarky comments on the matter to myself, if you can also agree to reply fairly to anyone who asks you to repeat yourself if and when they find your message or intent unintelligible.
To my GM and fellow players,
If any of you disagree with the above statements or if I've offended you in any way that you feel warrants my expulsion please PM me and/or the GM and we'll resolve the issue one way or another.
To the players of
Goandai Uepher and Victor Rattus Adustus.
I think at this point I should point out something about myself,
I hate doing this but it always come to this when what has just happened happens to me, and it happens a lot. You are by no means the 1st, you join a long line, so very, very long list of others who think they can impose their NEEDS on others and justify their actions. Rude, insensitive and selfish as they may be, they ALWAYS feel justified and ALWAYS try to shift their problems on to me. Nope sorry not going to allow that. You have a problem with me, that your thoughts and feeling in YOUR head. Take full responsibility for them, you’re the one saying
"What I want is more impotent than what YOU want, and I want you to be like this"
Well I'm not like that and I will NEVER be what you demand me to me.
Why? Because I can't, because I am Dyslexic, This, the messages I type on here, this is after years of working to get over a fundamental part of me, this IS me 'better'. But I don't mind being Dyslexic I would not change it in fact. Because you see, as it took away, it gave! It gave me a mind that thinks in 3d, it gave me a phenomenal memory, and one more thing it gave me.
You want to know why you liked Lady Rosalyn?
It's because that Dyslexic gave me one amazing imagination, that one great gift that I would never take away from myself for better spelling and grammar.
In regards to Class, I have always tried to set an example, if I failed here in your view, well that’s your view, I am happy with my actions, and what counts here is how I feel about MY actions. To me class is living your whole life like this, with this and NOT getting angry, bitter or upset when others who line up to tell you to change, to stop being who you are, when you just can't.
Understand I respect you, because you are just you, you are who you are. But I ask you respect me back, don’t set out rules for others to change to fit your needs, Accommodate others and respect them then next time you’re in this situation.
My one hope here is that you learn from this, if you do then I will be happy.
I will not be coming back to this game, sorry. I think we are past that.
I wish you all the best and good luck with the game.
@GM
Please could you remove my PCs and GMs alts from the player list and PC list thank you.
I'm not really sure what to say here at this point without quoting Ron Burgandy, but that would probably be inconsiderate and inappropriate... All humor aside, Dyslexia sucks and makes it tough to both write and read what's written.
I'm not interested in expelling anyone, and if amends are made, I'll welcome Rosalyn back to the game, but sometimes it is a better solution to leave a situation, so it is JP's call and i will respect that decision, whatever it is.
I am not confident that further discussion here will have a positive affect, and i really am having a hard time formulating anything further than i'm comfortable saying. Feel free to PM me about any issues you may have, and I'll do what i can.
I will be continuing the game and appreciate everyone's feedback about the direction we go.

I've been thinking about it. I don't think my deity works as well as I originally thought it would. Can I change my deity? To a god of medicine, death or science perhaps?
Mainland gods:
For Medicine, the father of alchemy, medicine (and alcohol) is Gemidar, viewed as a doctor and innkeeper.
Usumon is the lord of the underworld, and god of death
There is also the plague bringer, worshipped by mad cultists, and venerated by others that wish to appease him, and avoid his wrath. He's kind universal to most pantheons around the world.

Hmmmm the plague bringer sounds flavourful , but I think the plague bringers of the warren were more doctors than anything . I'll go with the father of alchemy then. Thanks!
Sorry about the late update. Had my RL game and the In-laws coming into town after and had to pick them up from the airport.
I got the prisoners divided up into their groups now (that was in flux as i had some re-writing to do for streamlining things) and you can try to pick some to talk to.
There were a few ways for this plot to resolve and there's really no failure situation. Just different things that could happen. SO this way totally works.
You all have a chance to react to the face that a bunch of people just climbed up onto the deck. then the next bit'll start. Thoyoitu, What do your people do?
I might have made an error in judgement. The plan is to gather up in my place and then make a deal with the army. The crew and gobos will duke it out till one wins, and then we can take over. We should gather our allies and as many weapons as possible.
At this point, If i can get something from Pyre and Desula, I'm thinking it would make sense to finish this off with some narration.
I wanted to have a cinematic sort of scene right here as there was a pretty dynamic shift in the setting without engaging in a straight up Turn-by turn combat or negotiation. But I also wanted to give you some chance for taking action rather than telling you what happens and givign you no agency, cause I don't particularly care for that to happen to me.
Victor and Goandi are kinda in a standoff-situation, I got a little more from Goandi about what he'd be doing, and Victor may be in a position to not blow people up?
I know what Thoyoitu is up to, so we should be able to finish off the scene tomorrow, hopefully with something exciting, and will reveal the repercussions of everyone's actions.
alright!
so once Thoyoitu released the prisoners, they were going to take over. I hope this encounter was a little better than saying that the prisoners rush out and take the ship or something like that. The actions you all took will have an affect on the NPC attitudes and interactions with you.
i know there was some confusion and things for a little hectic, but it was a surprise mutiny with a portion of a larger pirate crew.
I want another couple in-game days, maybe just one, depending on the pacing to sort out what the heck just happened.
A pressing question is regarding the 6th character.
You want to see how things go with a Five-man band? This party is not that trope... Or you think we should try to get a 6th ranger, maybe some kind of divine character, or someting? thoughts?
At this point, I'm betting Thoyoitu is the leader. But right now, my taking charge is all for the sake of saving lives, rather than trying to become some sort of king. Really sorry if I'm breaking the narrative or the story on accident!
You sir ate trowing me for a loop is what you are doing... I need to figure out if Akryat and the pirates would be fighting against a group of 21 tengu and a party of PCs that are essentially at full strength with his band of 9.
He is a boss level encounter, considering the fact that he kicked the crud out of a Druid that can wildshape into a HUGE shark, but 21 creatures is a lot to handle...
I also wasn't expecting you to let them out at first. I appreciate your unpredictability, it fits with your future mythic path.
What do you think of Akryat's picture, look like a nasty tough Hobgoblin? Goandi's is so perfect! it's hard to compete and there's not a lot of good ones...
Just so it's clear, Thoyoitu wasn't looking for a fight. He did try to make a deal with the guy, too. Offering to lead him to glory and wealth. Also, Thoyoitu knows the value of freedom, and doing what you have to to survive, so he took pity on them.
Think i need to let a few players weigh in before moving on... also let me figure out that aspect fo Akryat's character. He's definitely a bully, but does he bend, brea, or fight-back when under pressure! He's a complicated guy full of nuance and stuff! Hmmm
between Victor and myself, I suspect we can fill the healer role just fine. I've never been very fond of 'party leader' as a legitimate role. Adventurers tend to be a pretty egalitarian bunch, prone to making decisions based on consensus, but I do think Thoyoitu would make a more than adequate 'face.'
I don't think we necessarily need a sixth body, unless we want to build in just a little redundancy so no one feels backed into a corner.
Oh, and thanks for the compliment. There AREN'T very many hob avatars and barely any of those don't scream "hey, I'm a d--k!" Akryat's is pretty dramatic, though...
and I just noticed that GM_johny_panic has changed her avatar to the same one I use for my GM... which... doesn't actually mean anything, nor is it important, but I'm going to let it hang out there anyway.
Yeah, Thoyoitu (i.e. me) doesn't want to be a leader, but I'm trying to take charge and not get anyone killed lol But really I only invested into Bluff, which Des is higher in, and has a higher Charisma, too. But I think Thoyoitu has a humble not-Drow charm that lets him get away with it :P But if Goandai wants to jump in and intimidate them...
I'm thinking i may change Akryat's again, maybe a couple times. . . can't decide
Think i should wait till tonight to update and see if anyone else has a reaction to Thoyoitu's ultimatum? Or Respond now so you can reply to the Pirate's response?
Technically we don't have a "the chick" which is a dumb aspect of the tropei replace with the "Heart" but do we have one of them? There's have a shadow illusionist and alchemist, both kinda smart-guys. Go could be the Lancer to Tho's Frontman, but I feel like it's kinda a streatch...
.
Maybe Des is the frontman with the social skills and Tho his lancer, while Go is the "Heart"? =P too much troping!!!
my thursday group (4th ed) has a Mull Fighter who is out Leader, and the closest thing to a Big Damn Hero we have. I play a happy-go-lucky sociopathic Skirmisher Druid (assassin) as her Lancer. We have a Half-Ork charging fighter for out Big Guy, and a chess-master Bard Tiefling "princess?" as out Smart-Guy. The Chick (Sun-cleric) is an alcoholic priest of Bahamut.
hmmm, a highly conflicted, true neutral party heart... I like it.
it occurs to me that my regular table top group has never had this conversation, at least not as such. We generally pick who we're gonna be ahead of time and then work out mechanical logistics.
Looks like you dont' quite need an update from me quite yet, as you are still in the planning phases.
I'll be posting the current crew and their relationship with the crew as far as you are all aware on the campain page, so you know better what you are dealing with. as far as people
Edit
you do have a pretty hefty crew and don't know who all of the members are yet. You could try to see what information you could get from the crewmen and Pirates, as maybe some of them could be useful

i tried to make friends with the quartermaster before but he wasn't available. and now he's dead. so far so good though. victor made friends with most of the know crew now. he doesn't trust arkyat much, and is much more comfortable with the pre-existing crew.
Sorry, guys, late night at work. I'll update tomorrow before my trusday night game (aiming for a daytime update whiel i'm at work), hopefully we have a slow day...

I was planning to lob a bomb but they're too far away. My plague vial kicks in so I'll try to take out the drow near the door. I think our frontliners like pyre or goandi should get to thoyoitu and maybe grapple the attacker?
Wait wait what? I haven't read anything except that Which Thoyoitu himself would know so as to not metagame or anything. But for once, what is happening? Are you all sneaking outside my room to kill me or something???
some apologies are in order. this past week has been bizarre. I stopped counting the varieties of hell I've suffered somewhere around 25 (ironically, that was the hell of hyperbole) and simply have had neither time nor energy for pbp. between my job in retail management and a bunch of personal stuff, I don't see things getting any easier until the new year and am bowing out of just about everything. I am sorry for any inconvenience this causes.
I hope everyone continues to enjoy themselves on here, and with luck I can rejoin you come January.
no worries, and best wishes for the rest of the year. With a 4-man party, I'm probably going to open up recruitment for a 5th character, maybe a divine, but we'll see.
But there should still be room for Goandi to come back whenever things change.
EDIT
Once Thoyoitu takes his turn, I'll have this Drow and the other that hasn't moved go, and we can keep this party going!!!
no worries. To move things along I'll wait till this evening for Thoyoitu to post then I'll just roll for him to see if he can deal enough damage to slay his assassin. He can move later. I think I'm not going to bother with the armor thing at this point. It's overly complicated so everyone has their armor and stuff
Welcome! This is the recruitment thread for my brand new home-brew setting!
This is YOUR chance to be a part of shaping the face of the world forever.
New cosmology with mysteries to be plumbed! Several Pantheons of deities and room for custom gods! Unique cultures to encounter and Lands to explore!
You stand at the precipice of the next Epoch of history. The Dragons have all but disappeared from the known world, humanoids rise and tame lands upon which their kind have never set foot. Lords seek to establish Dynasties, warring tribes, kingdoms and species crawl over each other for power and relics of the ancient past, ripe for claiming, to use to dominate their enemies.
Lines are being drawn across the lands and it is the Mythic heroes of this time that will be the Legends that shape the world for generations!
STORY!
You are off to face your fate, whichever way the winds will you. You start aboard a ship but will make for shore soon enough. DUN DUN DUUUUUUN! You will have to survive the trials of a savage and untamed land before you can venture forth and take up the mantle of your destiny.
We are open for submissions.
Characters: 15 point-buy, All core materials, Featured Races from d20pfsrd.com, most archetypes and PRC’s from APG, UM, UC.
—ARG material is available with approval, but have a contingency plan, and no to ACG at this point.
CLERICS!
You have new gods. PM me if you are interested in the clergy or if you want some other Divine source of power. There are secrets and mysteries for you.
- And if you just want to be religious there will be a god for you, Don’t worry!
RULES:
We’re going to be going Mythic, so think about your Destiny and tell me about it!
There is going to be Kingdom-building, and downtime rules, as well as Mass Combat, and potential for Naval Battle as well, depending on where the party goes.
I’m planning on using the Wounds and Vitality system as well as start things off with Armor as DR. If that turns out to suck, we could always change it, but I want to try it out.
The World!
The mainland is pretty much a low magic E6 setting. 4th level spells are nearly unheard of, Resurrection is solely the purview of the highest ranked Druids, the greatest Arch-mages are about 7th level.
-BUT-
Mythic creatures walk the lands, epic battles are fought, mere mortals taste divinity, and there is a whole multiverse to explore, not just one continent.
Oh, and a question: You said all core, plus featured races as well as PRCs and Archetypes from APG, UM and UC. What about the base classes from those books? I assume it's implied they are allowed, but it sounds a bit like they are not. Just looking for clarification.
Interesting... though I suppose the point buy fits in better with the stated style of the homeland. XD That said, I am interested in seeing where this goes, and I suppose I could whip up a character... once Orannis' question is answered, anyway.
I'm looking to start in 2 to 3 weeks, based on interest and time it takes to get characters rolled. And it'll be a normal PBP
Yes, base classes are more than welcome. Only classes that are out are the hybrid classes due to lack of familiarity. Sorry about the lack of clarity.
Also forgot to mention, you get 2 traits and, with approval I will allow a third trait with a Flaw, depending on the flaw.
Edit.
Since the setting is custom, and I'm still developing aspects of the world, once you post a build, I'll work with you to get the backstory and figure out some ideas for your mythic destiny.
You decide WHO your character is, and then we fit him or her into the world!
Count me in then! Was thinking something along the lines of a 'tanky' Phalanx Soldier/Sacred Shield - had a rough plan before but the game never got off the ground. Of course, considering the fact that we'll be starting with two variant rules I've never used for combat, hopefully I can hammer out something at least semi-effective!
Is there any particular way you'd like character sheets done up? How frequent might you want posts to be? Can't say I've done a game on the Paizo boards before so not entirely sure if there are particular norms I should be keeping in mind.
I'd like you to create an Alias on the board, and paste your sheet in the About Me section of your profile. I'd also like you to put your VItality, Wounds, Defense, DR/armor, Saves, Initiative and Perception in your Header. I set up the GM profile to demonstrate how it'll look as the bare bones.
As far as Mythic goes, Players aren't starting mythic, but will be getting mythic power.
Take a look at the methods of Mythic Ascension, Artifact, Fated, Godling, Granted, Passed On, or think of your own way of gaining power that fits what you want your character to become.
You will also have a "Mythic Flaw", which is going to be your character's biggest secret, if they know it from the start. I'm not going to exploit it, but use it as a story hook.
As for pacing, I have a somewhat hectic schedule, but I'd like to shoot for at least one or two posts daily, or at least every other day from players.
Can I play a Tengu prince (probabky Bard class) whose father sent him to expand the Tengu Empire in new, unexplored lands? This would give me backing from him (as per the world building rules), and probably a small army to command? I always wanted to build my own kingdom.
The concept sounds fine. I'll have to get you information on Tengu in the world, and you won't start with royal desorbed, but when the kingdom is founded, there can be settlers from your home country.
I do want to note that if two people build future rulers, they may be putting themselves in direct competition, where if there is potential to take multiple leadership roles, it may be easier to find a place in the party. But that's only if there's competition
Honestly, I don't want to be a ruler, but it'd be nice to have those 50 BP :p I am not entirely sure what I want to play. Also, are there any 3rd party diplomat classes you'd let me use? I think being the treasurer would be cool.
Maybe I am an outcast of the Tengu tribes and took some people with me to build a new tribe? I could still be the son of the chief, but not want to be ruler, simply helping to fund the construction?
I'd like to avoid the 3pp stuff, but a trendy bats would be good. If you want to be traveling with people, that's fine, although I can't promise they will all make it. The world is a dangerous place. };]
Yes to average starting gold. Early on, you may lose some or most of your gear, but I wouldn't fiat away special items cause that's not fun
I am allowed to have the 900 GP trait, right? Rich Parents, I think. It sounds like I'll want lots of gear, just in case. Also, my people will need food and stuff :)
I've thought about it and I'm going to say no to rich parents for this game
Part of the game's early stages will involve dealing with limited resources and the challenges from limited materials rather than just CR. So having 900 gp to start kinda defeats that purpose, or the trait investment is rendered moot if you didn't buy the things you need or don't have a way to spend cash until later when the 900 gp doesn't make a very big difference.
Sounds great! Whoever leads, I'd like to play as their shady spiritual advisor. Bongub, a goblin and Oracle of Bones, with dreams of replacing Venklevore as the Goblin God of the Grave (Hierophant Mythic Hero). The logic is, as a young goblin, he was thrown into a crypt and forgotten. Here he saw the power of the dead, and realized that the dead were not all evil, and could--in fact--do good. This conflicts with the goblin worship of Venkelvore and so he was cast out for this thought process. For ascension, I'm thinking he's approached by Charon and is granted the power to work his way to be his emissary among the Goblins (i.e. "I'm the god of death for most creatures, you can be a minor deity under me for the goblins, but only if you prove yourself").
@The Little King - I'm unfamiliar with the gods you mention, but if they are Paizo/Golarion then they may not exist in the GM's world, or may need new names to fit. In the OP GM Pyros specifies that new Gods inhabit this campaign setting.
Unless of course, those you mention are GM Pyros Gods. In which case I'll butt back out... ;)
Pigtails here. After a long time debating of whether I should stick with the Phalanx Soldier idea (and a lot of flip-flopping between Magus and Fighter) I decided to play an Oracle since I've never tried one out before! Looks to be an interesting class to say the least, though it does make me a little upset that a lot of the 'scrying' effects are locked into the Seer archetype - may have to switch around a feat and take it so I can make the concept I have in mind (although it is decidedly ineffective as far as combat capabilities are concerned!)
Will PM you in a sec Pyros about faith and all of that jazz.
I would like to apply with Sir Newton Cromwell. Backstory will depend on world setting, but I have a rough idea.
Background:
The 4'th son of a minor noble, Sir Newton Cromwell is an educated man faced with the prospects of little to no inheritance. With a choice between life as a military officer or conquest in the new world, Sir Cromwell has chosen the life of the conquistador.
I can set up an alias later this evening, when I can use Herolab to generate a statblock.
I decided to go with the tribal Tengu Rogue instead, as this party seemed to lack one. I hope the backstory is alright. I spent most of my gold on basic supplies for the 21 outcasts.
I'm just going to say it here and now: If no one on this trip has Purify Food and Water, we're screwed. So if anyone with that spell could pick it, it'd be great. Being in an unexplored land, it might help. I mean, it's not like I brought 3,700 pounds of food that'll last a week at most...
Question for you Pyros. Would you be ok with a Nagaji race? But with a little twist. Instead of just being decended from snakes changing the flavor to decended from dragons? Ii so I would make a character that would be trying to find the dragons to see why they vanished. He would be working his way to Dragon Disciple for progression.
Suppose I can pick it up rather than Mending since I can just take that up later on (when there might be potential for some sundering attacks). Can't believe I passed over that before. Also have Create Water since, you know, utility. Not like many of the other 0 level slots are particularly good.
Damn the post monster... i was editing to add more responces and they got eaten. pardon me, i'll be in my weeping corner...
@ Oceanshieldwolf, and LittleKing
She is a golorion goblin goddess of death. I am thinking i might commandeer the Goblin Hero-gods in concept ad make some changes cause it's a really elegant pantheon. Venkelvor remains the death-goddess, Hadregash made goblins into Bugbear, Zarongel is patron of cavalry and Hobs, and Zogmugot is blamed for Grindylow
@ Gundahar Brandt, can you also think of something about his mythic ascention? What path are you thinking and how/why is he going to ascend? Beyond wishing to choose a more interestign life for himself what is his greater purpose?
I'm imagining a Druid: world walker, maybe Tengu, maybe even a Hobgoblin exile, but I still could use a bit of guidance regarding the mythic stuff and whatnot.
BTW, my chosen path is Trickster. Also, I call Treasurer if no one else wants it! Oh, Akarine, I could also just say that one of the Tengu with me knew Purify Food and Drink and Create Water as well, so you can take Mending back. Purify Food and Drink might still be useful, though.
What i was saying before, before the post-fail...
I had spoken to some of my friends about the game over the weekend and have been looking at characters for them. One has rolled up a wizard, and another is doing a goblin barbarian, I believe. The third is interested in rolling an Arcane Trickster.
@Thoyoitu, you don't need to take Mercurial mind yet, Sorry for the miscommunication, you would only need to take a drawback if you wanted a third trait. You get mercurial mind when you ascent to Mythic. I'd also mentioned to my friend that we didn't have any rogues yet so she took the look at arcane trickster. If there is another class that you might be interested in, it might be worth considering, although two roguish characters with teamwork feats could work.
@Vahanian89 I'm fine with that idea, flavoring Nagaji as Dragonkin rather than serpent. Naga and Dragon theoretically bear some similarities but at the end of the day nobody really knows since they are all pretty insanely powerful and incredibly rare. SO gimme some class and mythic thoughts as to how you're getting to Drgon Disciple and what path you would like.
@tooddles or sommat: Like the druid idea, we don't have one and they are fun classes, with potential in this world (also the only place you can get a Res form an NPC) For mythic, you'd take a look at the 6 paths, Archmage, Heriophant, Champion, Guardian, Marshal, and Trickster and figure out which you'd want to take (has a bearing on your destiny) and also how you think you would ascend.
Artifact: find something that grants you power
Fated: confluence of the universe and forces coluding to grant you power
Godling: you are descended from, going to become, exist by the will of etc a GOD
Granted: some higher being gives it to you
Passed On: upon a creature's death you get power, maybe you take it, maybe it's given
So you become a Mythic Hero, get path abilities and mythic feats, Mythic SPellcasting (you need to take a power for that). there's a lot of information. You can PM me if you have specific questions about what do do with mythic and your build.
@GM Pyros: Ah, okay. I think we could both be Rogues-types. I could take a teamwork feat next chance I get to make us more team-work capable! :D Is this okay? Because like, I made like three characters but this was the only one I liked :/
I'm calling godling ascension for my Evil Cleric, who may be chaotic neutral or chaotic good, Talking to GM about it so she fits the world better. Also change of race to Aasimar as it fits better into my back story ideas now. She's I hope is going to be the core Healer of the party positive channeling + other stuff being worked out.
:0) very interesting ideas coming out her, loving the creativity.
@ Gundahar Brandt, can you also think of something about his mythic ascention? What path are you thinking and how/why is he going to ascend? Beyond wishing to choose a more interestign life for himself what is his greater purpose?
GM Pyros:
Sir Cromwell will be dual pathing Archmage/Guardian. His path to apotheosis will be through his sword, Silence. The blade, originally owned by the hero who founded the family and the kingdom, was Newton's sole inheritance, bestowed upon Newton by his father as he boarded the ship.
Silence is an ancient blade that has lain dormant for centuries. Forged by the first Lord Cromwell, the blade has traditionally been passed from father to youngest son, a sign of expectation that the inheritor will earn his own place amongst the nobility.
Sir Newton Cromwell travels to the new world as a place of unbounded opportunity. A chance to carve his own kingdom out of the untamed wilds and lost civilizations that have come before. It is Sir Cromwell's drive to explore and conquer that awakens Silence, which in turn awakens the spark of divinity lying dormant in Sir Cromwell's blood, a forgotten legacy of Lord Cromwell.
Totally existential, he never fit in with the other hobgobs, he's not inherently cruel or sadistic, really doesn't get race related stereotypes since he's seen slaves break those all the time. Doesn't believe in hobgob superiority, just superior planning, and one day he saw a halfling slave woman (it's always a halfling isn't it?) heavily pregnant and still being forced to work in the mines go into labor, she had managed to find some relatively remote corner to give birth but she couldn't keep herself hidden forever. While my character would have watched the process, fascinated, a pit boss also discovered her and made some derivative comment, the equivalent of, "thanks for the meal, lady" and picks up the squalling babe by the feet, ready to swing it over head and bash it on the rocky mountain side when I get my very first surge, incapacitate the pit-boss, save the baby and mother and get us all outta dodge.
@ Pyros & Oceanshield: I figured Charon or some version of a true neutral god of death would be present wherever, good to know Venkelvore is still in it! Still working on the alias.
Granted: [Enlightenment evangelist] A divine group calls upon the character to act as a representative. This role gives the character mythic power, but possibly only while serving the interests of this group and while holding to that divine group's tenets.
