AP doesnt make you take more damage so having some armor is better than none. For those times where you have just enough armor to save your skin on in this case other people.

I hope so! For a Special Forces reconnaissance solider both my Awareness and Stealth have been a bit lacking recently.
That's why Pete doesnt put stock in such things. He knows he isnt that stealthy and even if he was doesnt mean anything if you get shot. Rather just eat the bullet or in the few other cases, the laser.
You'll get better, just like how currently Pete's Melee is lacking. Once his gets his blade back things will be better and XP can make you even better at a skill.
