Just noticed it is the book, not a single adventure. A bit long for me, would prefer a single adventure, whenever you recruit for one.

Can't help you there. I was expecting a basic concept from someone who said they were new. Someone probably could help you make that though.
At Patrick, the way I DM, knowing the plot twists probably won't help you, you'll just know the storyline, but in AL things can be changed around, and in play by post, I simplify things, especially since this isn't pathfinder where it has to be Dmed word by word.

First of all, you don't roll, you take max, it was either take the gold or the equipment from background and class, second of all that was only legal in season 1. When season 2 started, they said you must take the starting equipment from class and background.
Awww. Well, I guess my first purchase will be a shield. I'll adjust tomorrow.

I'd love to join! Looks like this is an AL game, so I have a rogue that's been through a few adventures at GenCon - he is 4th level. Or I could create a new character if we need to be 1st level. Perhaps a paladin...

The more I thought about it, I agree with PeteZero. The book for PbyP would take longer than I'm willing to commit to. I'm going to pass thanks for offering Double.
