Aoro Osris |

Gene contemplates the punishment for killing that pesky bird...
Don't really intend to kill it. Just thinking it will be the target of Gene's new found distaste for talking birds lol.
In case it was unclear, Aoro spoke not Ro. So that just seems random to me if that's not the case. xD

Aoro Osris |

Ro returns to report, whispering in Aoro's ear.
"Three on deck with more swimming around the water. We need that ship to repair our own. I would suggest we take out the three on deck from a distance. If that does not scare the ones in the water away we will have a group on shore cover another that will go to get the material we need. After all some of us are no good in the water, while others are fine. Thoughts?"

'Sunny' |

Sunny creeps back through the grass to the group.
"Tha' ones up on'a deck will have cover from us down here on'a beach." She points out (A beached ship is what? Ten to twenty feet above the ground? May as well try and hit the roof of a house. :P)
"We's better ta' try an' sneak across tha' sand ta' use tha' curve of th'a hull as cover an' look fer a hole in her sides ta' creep in through." She sighs.
"How many folks have axes? Failing ta' find a hole. We can try cuttin' our way in? That would give us tha' kind of advantage that tha' grindylows would be comin' ta' us."

Aoro Osris |

Its not beached, it's sunk. Which is why no one attempted to repair it. Also its surrounded by water, so if it's not sunk then it would be floating. At least that's the description I got. DM correct me if wrong.

'Sunny' |

(Not to nit-pick) The ship has to resting on something solid (I.E. sand) even if most of her hull seems like it's in the water. We should be able to walk at least part way round the front of the ship, even if we end up to our waists in water. Sneaking over to the ship and then finding way sup and or in seems like the better plan. Trying to shoot at something ten to twenty feet above you? Doesn't sound like a good idea. Just some thoughts.

Aoro Osris |

I agree it has to be resting on something. But we do not know the depth of it. If their is a clear shot or not will effect Aoro's actions and thoughts as will a number of conditions. Which is why I want to know more details from the DM.

Tarchinis Verance |

Tarchinis nods to Torque. "Actually, I was thinking about one of the smaller..." he points with his chin at Gene's musket. " Muskerets. Whatever ye call 'em. Captain on my last boat had a little one, held it in one hand."

'Sunny' |

Sunny nods. "Aye, lettin' 'em have it afore they can have at us is all-a-ways a better idea. But we's maybe not in that type o' place here." She points out.
"So...we's shootin' an' scootin'? Or scootin' and shootin'?" She asks.

DM Bound Shade |

Information on the Shipwreck: The wreck of the Infernus is on the beach a good 20 feet into the water (the dunes at the top of the beach are about 40 feet from the water so the ship is about 60 feet away from you currently). A bit of looking will show that the port side has a long line torn out of it and the entire ship is pitched heavily to the starboard side. Any of the monsters on the midship aren't going to be visible, but the ones on the forecastle and aftcastle are going to be, but under cover from the railing and height.

'Sunny' |

Sorry fer the questioning. But...if the ship is how long and only 20' into the water....does that mean her bow is out of the water? Seems we can try sneaking under their gaze and trying out that hole in her port. Just an idea. Much cheers to all.

DM Bound Shade |

The tip of the bow is 20 feet into the water. The ship looks to be around 100 feet long, putting it at around the same size as your own ship. That'd put the stern around 120 feet out.
You could probably try sneaking in. It wouldn't be that hard to avoid being seen by those on the deck, but the ones swimming about pose an issue. There's not a lot of cover between the grasses your hiding in and the ship.

'Sunny' |

We wait till they in't lookin' and scamper across. T'is like that scene in 'The Great Escape'...except...we in't escapin'... >_>

'Sunny' |

Stealth:1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
Sunny doesn't get far before seeing Torque's and Tarche's predicament which throws her into a gales of laughter.
Dafaq? What is it with all these low rolls all of a sudden?

'Sunny' |

Suny continues to giggle at her companions predicament, even as she helps them to their feet. (^_^)

Everyone make a perception check on the water.
After successfully making your mutiny, you have landed on Bonewrack Isle and it's tribe of grindylows. You are currently trying to make repairs on your ship. But this is an island in strange waters.

*Continues to skip, bounce, cavort and other-wise dance in the sun-shine as she enjoys the warm sun on her skin and the sand scuffing beneath her feet.* (^_^)
Yay tha' dice roller! :P

Yay tha' dice roller! :P
I can't believe it . . .

'Sunny' |

(^_^)
Sunny bounces over to whom ever is closest,
"Hey! Hey? I has a riddle fer ye." She declares,
"When do a beach has a door?"
*Continues to skip and dance around said character/person.*

'Sunny' |

Sunny actually stops and looks blankly at Torque...tilting her head slightly,
"Uhhhm....I never head that riddle a'fore...." She blinks, "Whu's it mean?" She asks, before shaking her blond mop.
"No! Not that kind'a riddle!" And she bounces back over to where she'd been dancing in the sand not a moment before.
"Here! Here! There be a door in'a sand!" She exclaims. Dropping down and wrenching at the lid with both hands.

'Sunny' |

Sunny stares down into the hole for a moment or two.......
Before bouncing to her feet and thence leaping into the air with a loud and joyous whoop.
"Tha' Rum NOT BE GONE!" (^_^)
Thence taking up another dance of in extreme happiness at the situation.
XD

Aoro Osris |

Aoro and the other sensible sailors no doubt shoot them a nasty look. He keeps his voice low.
"Would you shut your big mouth. Or maybe it slipped your mind we have a bunch of grindylows over there and now some sort of serpent in the water that we just noticed."
He keeps ready in case an attack was coming.
"Must I also remind you that it means nothing if we do not repair the ship. Unless you want to get yourself and the crew drunk on a monster infested island. In which case I will be glad to leave you."

![]() |

The day wears long and thin. It's the third hour after noon, and it's still hot. For those who are still exploring, it means a survival check.
The ranged crew is still keeping guard while some of the crew is scavenging the Chelish ship for wood to repair your own ship. Another part of the crew is starting a fire, and some of them are cooking some of the left over crabmeat.

Torque2 |

Something to drink for celebration when we get off this island.
Survival: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
So at this point we are just about to explore the ship we came across? The one with the grindys? If so, Torque will be one of the crew heading in.

'Sunny' |

Sunny scampers over to the ship and indicates the hull (Prow) where it rests upon the beach sand.
"Here. We can start by workin' our way in through tha' hull what we can get at. Save climbin' up tha' side an' maybe gettin' somat dropped on us." She suggests.
