GM Volandis |

Celestin notices that the plank has certainly seen better days. If someone wearing heavy armour or carrying a lot of gear tried to cross the plank it may not take the strain.
Heryn had finished her work shift and showed you down here on her own time. She left abruptly simply because she didn't want to end up tied up helping a bunch of new Pathfinders in searching the wine cellar.

![]() |

I am absolutely willing to go first btw. Just going to give everyone else a chance if there's anything they want to do.

![]() |

Pioni takes a run up and attempts to jump the gap
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (4) + 9 = 13

![]() |

I will walk up to the plank and look down to see what it is covering in terms of what is in the hole in the floor.

GM Volandis |

Celestin takes his time walking across the plank. It creaks a lot but seems to take his weight. After crossing Celestin is now concerned that this plank may not take the weight of someone carrying a lot of equipment. Moving at 1/4 speed Celestin can pass safely.
Pearlianna looks down the hole. It drops down roughly ten feet and the walls look quite uneven. At the very bottom there are signs that the hole has breached a damage and unused section of the city sewers.
What is everyone else doing?

![]() |

Seeing Pioni jumping the gap with ease, and not wanting to be outdone Cyto gives a run up and tries to jump the gap as well.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28

![]() |

After seeing Hob cross carefully, Pearlianna follows his example and crosses slowly and carefully.

GM Volandis |

If anyone is carrying a large amount of gear please let me know as this can potentially cause some plank related problems.
The chamber down the stairs ahead is clearly where the Wounded Wisp keeps its supply of speciality wines and ales.
After a few minutes searching you eventually find the bottle you're looking for on the wine rack on the south wall.
Please place yourselves in the southern room.

GM Volandis |

Cyto takes hold of the wine bottle to pull it out, but it doesn't move very far before stopping. There is a faint click sound from behind the wine rack as a section of the wall slides back revealing a short stone tunnel leading away from the wine cellar.
Ahead you can see a room lit by a glowing orb that radiates yellow light across the rectangular room. The magical light dangles from a sturdy silver chain jutting from the ceiling. A simple desk of polished wood, stacked with documents and scattered notes, shelters a pair of wooden chests against the south wall. A series of cracks along the eastern and western walls form makeshift entrances into exposed caverns.

![]() |

"Maybe there is more wine inside!" Hob say excitedly
"I got your back Cyto." Hob puts his hand on Cyto's shoulder and follows him in to this secret tunnel (secret secret secret secret tunnel)

GM Volandis |

As the first members of the group step in to the room you can see movement from first one side passage and then another. Two hideously malformed, hairless, pustule-covered corpses snarling more like undead hounds than undead men crawl out of the damaged side tunnels looking hungry and ready for a fight.
Celestin Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Cyto Initiative: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25

RED creature initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
BLUE creature initiative: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
I'll call turn order in groups. If you are UP NEXT Feel free to post in whatever order you wish as it's assumed you can delay as needed to act in post order. Any questions feel free to ask.

"Arrgh, stay awayy from ze wiiine!" Celestin roars as he sends an enhanced magical missile at the red monster.
Force damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
I will move myself later. Im stood in the tunnel a few squares north of the party. Someone not squishy stand between me and the ghoulie please?

![]() |

Seeing an enemy bearing down on a less coordinate looking friend, Cyto draws a dagger, takes a five foot step up to the creature and stabs towards it.
Attack Role: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4
It isn't really relevant for Cyto but what is the deal with knowledge checks?

GM Volandis |

Players can roll a knowledge check on their turn when you encounter a new enemy. Depending on result i'll share what you know and then ask the player for some questions. You can ask about special attacks, resistances, damage reduction, etc. Then it's up to the player to state if share what they find out with the rest of the group. Very similar to playing in person around a table, just the questions and replies take a little longer.

![]() |

In my experience, the GM usually puts it in a spoiler tag titled "k.arcana DC 20" for example, and its up to the players to be honest and only read it after posting their roll.
Successful rolls often lead to the player sharing the information in their post.
initiative rolls tend to be hidden the same way.
What flavour knowledge are we rolling for these? I have nature and planes, both same bonus.
monster knowledge: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

![]() |

I will move to the new position on the map and cast Blessings of the watch. same as Bless but lasts one hour 50 ft burst all allies.
Attack +1, Save vs fear +1

GM Volandis |

I'm going to delay Pioni. If they have not posted by the end of the round i'll 'bot' their action for them.
These creatures require Knowledge Religeon.
The creature next to Cyto tries to gnaw on his flesh with a frenzy caused by unnatural hunger.
bite attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 bite damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Round 1
Cyto - dagger slash
Pioni <-UP NEXT (delayed)
Pearlianna - blessed
Celestin - uses the force
BLUE - bite dodged
Virgil <-UP NEXT
James <-UP NEXT
RED (3 damage)
Hob

![]() |

As the cleric going down will lead to an unfortunate disadvantage james will stride forward to stand in front of her. Hand on his longsword. Once he is in front of our clerical friend he will from an arcane symbol in the air and cast disrupt undead.
ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 171d6 ⇒ 1
this includes the bonus from blessing. Also I don't have religion for knowledge check only arcana, dungeoneering and local

![]() |

Seeing a creature emerge behind him, Virgil steps up and thrusts his rapier at the undead. Red
Rapier: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 171d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
I'll move my token at home, don't have access at work.

GM Volandis |

The creature wearing tattered red rags gets struck by James' magic and Virgil's blade. As the blade connects with undead flesh it ruptures some of the disgusting creature's boil ridden skin, splashing Virgil with pus-like fluid.
Fort save please Virgil.
Even when almost destroyed, the creature fights on in an attempt to feast on the flesh of the living...
bite attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 bite damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
...but the nimble swordsman simply steps to one side and dodges the clumsy attack.
Round 1
Cyto [ooc]- dagger slash
Pearlianna - blessed
Celestin - uses the force
BLUE - bite dodged
Virgil stab some boils
James minor disruption

![]() |

Cyto will continue blocking the creature from gaining entry into the room while trying to get a good hit on it from his dagger.
Dagger: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 dagger damage: 1d4 ⇒ 4

GM Volandis |

Pioni moves up to engage the creature nearest to Cyto.
Virgil seems to shake off whatever nastyness is carried by the ugly boil covered creature.
Round 2
Perlianna has Blessed the party.
Cyto - slicing air
Pearlianna <-UP NEXT
Celestin <-UP NEXT
BLUE
Virgil (Hob's luck)
James
RED (8 damage)

Hob

![]() |

Celestin draws his crossbow and sends a bolt at the red one, hoping to put it down for good.
crossbow vs Red: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
for damage: 1d8 ⇒ 2
It doesn't look like he's had a lot of practice aiming it though, as the bolt bounces off the wall with a clatter. (Even if they had AC 10, cover would make that miss).

GM Volandis |

Hob knows that these creatures are Festrogs. They have all the usual undead traits, they have diseased pustules that burst when pierced or slashed and will feed on the flesh of enemies they bite which will temporarily sustain them they gain temp HP.
Hob knows two more things about Festrogs, so what two things would you like to know about them?

GM Volandis |

Hob tells everyone that festrogs don't have any specific resistances or weakness, but their physical bodies are weak Fort while their minds are stronger will.
Facing the hated enemies of her god, Perlianna strides forwards and channels the destructive divine energy of Pharasma to try to destroy the undead creatures.
channel energy: 1d6 ⇒ 5
will save RED: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
will save BLUE: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Both of the festrogs scream in pain as the divine light flows through them. The weakened one in tattered red rags is destroyed completely as Pharasma's energy burns through it.
The remaining festrog tries to take it's anger out on Cyto as it claws and bites at him.
claw attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 claw damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
claw attack 1: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 claw damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
bite attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20 bite damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
As the festrog bites Cyto it tears a chunk of flesh from him and gulps it down greedily. Cyto falls down unconscious, bleeding from multiple claw and bite wounds.
Round 2
Perlianna has Blessed the party.
Cyto (17 damage)- slicing air
Pearlianna channeled
Celestin bolt in the wall
BLUE - claw,claw,bite!
Virgil (Hob's luck)<- UP NEXT
James <- UP NEXT

![]() |

Virgil dashes into the corner beside Cyto's fallen body and lances out again with his rapier at the other undead nightmare.
Rapier: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 151d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Rapier: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
I'll take my VC Shirt reroll.
Rapier: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Rapier: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

![]() |

I will stand my ground and draw my longsword. Gathering energy again I will try to disrupt undead again hopefully with a little more force this time.
ranged touch attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 161d6 ⇒ 1
Well I need a new electronic d6

GM Volandis |

Hob's quick reactions with his healing magic stops Cyto from losing anymore blood and starts the process of healing his wounds.
With a flash of well aimed strikes from Virgil's rapier the remaining festrog finds it's final death.
James aim's for the creature's chest but misses the creature with his beam of energy as it collapses to the floor. I cannot see James' feats but i'm assuming he doesn't have Point Blank Shot and Precise Shot, so he actually misses due to the -4 for the creature being in combat.
You're now out of combat!

![]() |

Hob will move back over to Cyto and turn to the others "Anybody have a wand of cure light? I have two more healz I can use on Cyto if nobody does"

![]() |

Virgil shakes his head.
"I'm afraid not, perhaps there is something in here that might help? There must be a reasons those 'things' were here!"
The duellist begins to search the room, hoping to understand why a wine cellar would have undead lurking so nearby.
