Posting from phone. Sorry for small post
Sirettis
|
Gunslingers at point blank range perform ranged touch attacks. Not that it matters with that roll.
"Sleep now. You've bothered us enough." Sirettis locks eyes with the dinosaur for a moment, and then reaches for her potion of cure light wounds. "I will ensure Gallix survives."
Will Save DC 14 or fall asleep for 1 round.
GM Red

Will save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Gallix stops bleeding out, and the dinosaur stumbles on its feet a few times as Sirettis stares into its soul, then clumsily falls on its side with a loud thud.
I meant Con, but that roll still works for Gallix.
You know what happens next :)
Uesugi Hideyoshi

Watching as the spirit coos the odd looking lizard to sleep Uesugi moves in to finish the creature before it can do anymore damage to the others. Positioning the blade in an overhead strike he comes down with as much force as possible easily sliding the ever sharpened blade beyond the large cranial bone protecting the lizard's brain.

Uesugi's blade cuts into the velocipator's skull and through its brain before driving into the stone ground. A quick tremor moves from the top of its body to its feet, and as blood sprays from the injury, the dinosaur leaves the mortal plane without knowing how. A permanent gash remains in the ground underneath its head where the blade struck.
That damage alone killed it!
As Omandi looks on, she smirks. "I thought you might easily handle that. Well, pretty easily, anyway.." She laughs at Gallix as he lays on the ground.
"The display was but an inconsequential fraction of my power, really. I suppose there's no need to continue a fight with a few weak Pathfinders. It really wouldn't be fair, hmmmm?" She smiles sweetly and lowers her guard.

"Is this your way of flirting? It is poor. Inefficient. What will you do now? Summon a bear? Perhaps a whale, above our head? Or is this the best plan your puny mind will ever devise?"
Intimidate: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 Hey, a good social roll! Let's see if it actually applies.
"Or maybe you can summon something to stop the Earthfall? Maybe if you'd drop your control over the field, we can all devise some method of escape."
Blaster Corsac

GM: You did fine, but the roll just wasn't good :) I will only add to Blaster's actions:
After missing his target, Corsac reloads his musket with an alchemical cartridge.

Omandi locks eyes with Sirettis. "You mock me, peasant? We have already succeeded. Look at how New Absalom glows... The architecture, the people.. The very air around us is electric."
She's suddenly taken aback as she notices Sirettis' strange hair and the noisy red bird floating above her.
"I could certainly summon something vicious. More vicious than that flying .. thing above you. Just watch me, Pathfinders!" Omandi holds her arms into the air for a moment. And holds them... And continues to hold them until a good minute has passed. She looks agitated and continues, "Fine, I suppose you have a point. Bringing a creature here may take some time, but for now, I shall have you all on your knees once you see THIS!"
She claps her hands together, and the green glow surrounding her body disperses into the air. "How's that for a show of power?!" She smiles, then awaits for an ingratiating reply from her audience.
That's the final Anchor Success, and I didn't have to prompt you with what skills or DCs you needed. Nicely done. I feel it allows for better roleplay when I don't tell you, but when unusual skills (like specific Knowledges or Perform) are needed, I will list it.
Sirettis

With the woman completing the task for her, Sirettis decides to mock her as they leave.
Bluff: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
"Oh! Your display of power is overwhelming! Certainly, we are nothing compared to your impressive lightshow! We are blessed to have your mercy. Friends, let us flee before this goddess strikes us down with her fury!"
After getting a good distance from the woman, Sirettis breaks into a smile. "Watching her embarrass herself was almost worth it. But now we must work towards entering the Sky Key Vault."
Gorgeous Gallix Granbonne

The magical liquid flows down Gallix's throat and the wounds on his chest begin to close up as radiant energy flows across his body. The warrior sucks in a lungful of air and sits up, coughing up a small gob of blood. He turns and sees Sirettis staring down the odd woman with her arms held pointlessly in the air. What's going on here, he thinks as the woman continues to stand in her pose. Eventually, the awkwardness overcomes him and he gets to his feet, turns to Sirettis and says, "Thank you, my dear. You've saved me. I'll do what I can to repay your kindness." He begins to walk back toward the others, still clutching his wounds.
"Say, any of you have anything else to help patch me up a bit? I'm still feeling pretty rough here."
Sorry to suck up more of your CLW charges, Blaster. Mind if I take 1 or 2?
Mr. Peppers
|
Mr Peppers spends quite a bit of time at the back following the group around while quietly chatting with the Master of Scrolls. Eagerly asking him a few questions on how to properly vocalize and associated hand movements for a few of the more powerful spells he's been studying. He's so focused in the discussion and putting Shaine's advice and direction to heart that he completely misses out on the disruption of the spell anchors.
"Amazingly done! My apologies for not being of more assistance, I've been distracted speaking with Master Shaine here. I must admit it isn't often that an opportunity to spend so much time speaking with someone of Master Shaine's ability presents itself. Even under the circumstances of impending doom I guess I couldn't help myself." Mr Peppers clears his throat a bit awkwardly then looks up once more at the falling star. "Soo... how about we find that vault so we can get out of here?"
Sorry to have been away so long, but work is work. Was great reading through the last week's posts. Great group with great posts!

Welcome back, Mr. Peppers.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
A wide smile covers Omandi's face as she believes Sirettis' awe and fear. "Now begone, Pathfinders, or I may have to show you what a Harbinger is really capable of." She heads back to her pillar, has another sip of ale, and continues to "cast" various spells.
--
You double check your armor and weapons, have one last glance up at the sky, and then head towards the location of the vault learned from the other groups of Pathfinders.
Any preparations before you enter? Spells from Shaine, for example? Speak up if so, otherwise, down we go!

You head deep into the depths of the earth, following a long staircase that seems neverending. The air becomes moist and hot as you descend, and the trip into the vault takes about 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 minutes.

Mr. Peppers
|
Rough idea on the 1hr mage armor? I reapplied it as we first went down into the Shrine.
Once the group arrives at the staircase heading down Mr Peppers asks for a quick minute to jot down a quick few notes on what's happened so far, asking for quite a bit of reminders on what happened at the harbringers due to the distractions of his own making. He also takes the time to nibble on a few bits of dried fruit, followed by the casting of a couple of spells.
"This spell is called Prestidigitation, its one of the simplest of arcane spells and known by most anyone with a bit of arcane where-withall. You can clean up with it amongst other things, its quite nice to have around. I do remember hearing Mr Gallix ask about some help with some blood from earlier? If you'd still like me to I can remove the stains from your clothing and hands."
As they head down he'll speak a few firm Elven words and his hand glows in light, then draw forth his battle wand.

It's a pretty small dungeon, but there is more than one room. As for the mage armor, I think it probably fell by now given all of the interaction with the Harbingers.
Sirettis
|
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Sirettis does not enjoy the low ceilings. Neither does Isa, if you understand Auran. The two converse amongst themselves, oblivious to their surroundings.
Mr. Peppers
|
"Oops I nearly forgot my mage armor." He then draws forth his ironwood wand. "I know this may be a silly question, but do you need mage armor Master Shaine? Another question, but one of more importance, you've offered up spells to assist us, what spells do you have available? It would be good to know before we head down into this looming cavern..."
Mr Peppers will wait to use his mage armor wand until he hears Shaine's reply, if Shaine offers up a casting of mage armor Peppers will happily accept and save the wand use, if not and he doesn't have mage armor then he'll use 2 charges.
Mr. Peppers
|
Ya sorry I forgot you posted a list of his spells. What's the caster level we're looking at for duration? Looks like mostly 1min/lvl boosts other than the resist. Shield on Gallix sounds like a good plan.
GM Red
|
The Master of Scrolls is quite the caster, and his spells will be cast at CL 10. Shield will last 10 minutes. Would you want him to cast this now or later?
GM Red

Whenever you're ready for it:
Kreighton Shaine nods at Mr. Peppers. "Mage Armor... Now there's an abjuration I am not familiar with." He turns to look at Gallix. "I have something just as good, if not better. Hold still." He holds his palms out and waves them over Gallix and a gossamer barrier forms over his skin before fading. "There you are."
--
At the bottom of the stairs, you enter the vault and note that veins of strange metal line the walls. Enormous bronze devices connected to the walls by massive cables spark and spew steam, almost obscuring the large vault door at the far end of the room.
The door is labeled with a single word in a plethora of languages: Danger. Stagnant water collects at the bottom of a ten-foot wide pool in the middle of the room.
A gasping, bleeding elf who looks like an aged version of Kreighton Shane lies across the room.
"Oh... That's... Me? Two Masters of Scrolls in one room..." Master Shaine chuckles half-heartedly, more concerned about the injured version laying there.
A Harbinger of Fate and its elemental notice you approaching, and prepare to attack.

Map to follow later, still need Perception and Initiative from Gallix, Corsac, and Uesugi
Mr. Peppers
|
Before heading down
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20
Mr Peppers hearing Master Shaine isn't aware of the spell will speak the word of activation and tap them both with the wand. "Hopefully this will keep us out of harms way. Shield, very useful. Gallix does tend to take some hits with those he sends out."
Uesugi Hideyoshi

Apologies. Finding time on wknd can be difficult. If possible a shield cast on Uesugi would have been great too or bears strength.
Running along Uesugi could feel the time slipping by. The time it had taken to deal with these wu jen tricksters had been considerable and it had almost cost them the barbarian. While he would never say it aloud he was fortunate to have 'found' these others. As strange as they seemed they were highly efficient but as they ran deeper in search of the vault he felt his instinct telling him to be wary. Something was amiss. Tightening his grip about his blade he knew only one way to face this fear.

That's no problem. PBPs usually slow down on the weekend. We've still got 11 days, and this is nearly the end. I think we'll be fine. That is, if the total amount of successes across all tables is enough, of course... ;)

Knowledge:Planes: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27 Any issues with using magic missiles on the elemental? Apparently Mr Peppers read up a lot on these guys... Also does the harbringer have the look of a caster or a melee type?
"Careful with that elemental, especially if you're wearing any metal! Master Shaine, what's going on with your copy?"
If the harbringer looks very much like a caster... wand/staff/robes/etc then Mr Peppers will ready his wand waiting for a spell cast. If he's wearing armor or wielding a more martial weapon then he'll just let the missile fly Wand of Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Gallix moves toward the elemental. "Another of these, eh? Uesugi, with me. We handled the last one easily enough." Once he is alongside the creature, Gallix strikes, bringing his elbow up into the creature.

I think the MM vs elemental is fine.
Shaine looks down the chamber at the other Shaine. "Some time anomaly, perhaps? .. At least I'm.. He's?.. Not dead." He shudders.
The harbinger appears to have a crossbow strapped to his back and a longsword on his side. Looks more martial than caster
Mr. Peppers magic missile slams into the Harbinger, singing his skin. D's blast arcs a little too high and impacts the ceiling.
Uesugi, go ahead. Don't forget Bull's Strength should you choose to have Shaine cast it.

Gallix turns as Peppers calls his name. As he turns, he sees Corsac standing near the Harbinger, a coil of rope in his hands, but the sudden attack from the shadows causes the beast-man to dodge out of the way. "Right! I'm on my way!"
With all of the haste available to him, Gallix rushes along the pool, around the corner past D., Sirettis, and Peppers, and across the room, sticking as close to the wall as he can. His speed almost carries him past the slumbering Harbinger, but Gallix skids to a halt next to the aged form of Master Shaine. "Remind me never to mess with time magic again, alright?" he pants as he readies himself for the sleeping warrior to awaken.
