I will have my sheet updated on OP tonight or Tomorrow. NEFG, what is your opinion on Infernal Healing & Eidolons? It gives the target Fast Healing as opposed to healing them. Would that work on an Eidolon? If so, I was thinking about taking that as one of my first level spells rather than lesser Rejuvenate Eidolon as an indication of Grey's time living in Cheliax & being a slave to someone who had regular, direct, congress with devils...

I am sorry for not responding. I had family come in for the holidays, even my daughter flew in from Oahu, and what fun we had. Also, after following some of the other post I became a bit nervous about the level of technical skill i would need to participate. I would still like to be a part of this adventure.

I'm okay with it as it links you more to your past history.

Ok, I'm confused. We are playing here on the Paizo website? Is anyone else having difficulties accessing the Discussion thread for this Campaign? Every time I click it, I get directed to the Campaign Info thread instead. I will post to Gameplay in a bit. I have to update Grey & Great Mastiff here since the update I did for them was just on Obsidian Portal.

New England Frost Giant |

Yes we are playing the actual game on here because of the die roller system is integrated. I like what OP offers for tracking everything else.
As long as you are updated on OP just fix your pc on here when you have time. Sorry for the confusion. Now I gotta find Kylma! I will post after you are done and she can join in after that. Thanks for not turning me into a pile of goo.. :)

Kylma, thank you for asking. I was the first fan on the Obsidian Portal site, but I never figured out how to put a character on there and have it attached. Would love to play with you guys. I have four characters ready depending on what he decides.
An Ulfen Barbarian, whose rage is more like an athlete giving 110% than anger. He is very traditional and is a stalwart friend and ally.
An Elven Ranger, I had created him when It was originally posted you were a rogue, who was raised by Ulfen parents, who have since aged and passed from old age. He is an interesting mix as his memories of his life as an elven child being raised by elven parents are still with him, but he matured amongst the humans of Whitehaven. He is a bit like a half elf as he is caught between worlds, but is a full blooded elf.
An Elven bard, because I have never played one and the party doesn't have one. I figured that if there ever was a time to try one it was with a larger party like this. He is well read and interested in a myriad of topics. This chance of adventure is all he needs to get involved, whether the party invites him or not as he is a free spirit.
And finally a stoic white robed wizard, who is also an elf because I am just interested in them right now from reading too many stories involving the fair folk, who is seeking spells and trying to learn more about the world outside the Elven Realms, having just arrived from Greengold. He often seems to be speaking to his haversack.
Anyways, I will be reading along with interest, I love the Northland settings and I am interested in seeing where DM Frost Giant takes the tale.

Hi I'd love to get into a Reign of Winter game and I totally love Rogue types. The big question mark for me is do you guys need someone with trapfinding? Or do you need a stealthy skill monkey?
Seing it's an AP you prolly need trapfinding right?
Edit: here's an overview of classes that grant trapfinding for everyones convenience.

Kilain Gravendak |

*no body does it better* (primarily since Rogues have more skill points than anyone and get their level perk in finding traps and disabling them...now its fair to say that a few classes and archetypes can syergize to do a pretty good job of it, but better? Thats debateable. ;) as they typically have to sacrifice something to get it...that being said...those classes do bring other things to the table as well.
but better at Trapfinding? *no body does it better* lol ;)

New England Frost Giant |

Stealth will more than likely be just as important as trap work. If you utilize them both to some extent, it will surely help the party live longer. Though your rolls are the main key factor of any success. If you are interested Alex, create a character with a little background as to how you come to be in Heldren. Hedrick could you do the same for me please and thank you.

Alex Mack |

Mister Frost Giant. I'll try to get something up in the next two to three days. Not sure whether it will be a rogue or something else. But it will definitely feature trapfinding and stealth.
And there are several alternate classes that gain trapfinding just like the Rogue such as Urban Ranger or trapper ranger. Sure they have two less skill points than the Rogue but Pathfinder isn't 3.5. Those 8+int skillpoints aren't worth as much as they used to be.
