you start 50 years after Alexander conquered South West Asia. about 275 B.C. according to our Reckoning. I don't know what the Chinese Reckoning is for that date, though.
This is fantasy, so we Start with Alexander's birth at 356 B.C. as the Year of the Tiger. So using Alexandrian Reckoning from Phaeselis. --
1 - Year of the Tiger, Fire
2 - Year of the Rabbit, Earth
3 - Year of the Dragon, Metal
4 - Year of the Snake, Water
5 - Year of the Horse, Wood (elements recycle)
6 - Year of the Sheep, Fire
7 - Year of the Monkey, Earth
8 - Year of the Rooster, Metal
9 - Year of the Dog, Water
10 - Year of the Boar, Wood
11 - Year of the Rat, Fire (Animals recycle)
12 - Year of the Ox, Earth
13 - (when Alexander turned 12) Year of the Tiger, Metal.
Alexander died when he was 29, so his 24th year would be the Year of the Tiger, Wood; and the year that he died would be AC 29 -- the Year of the Horse, Water.
50 years from the date that he died (AC 79) would be the Year of the Rooster, Water.

I'll I really wanted from it is prof. with the eastern weapons. Probably go fighter after the first level. As it is now I'm calling my short sword a wakizashi... close enough. The mount is nearly useless too.
Maybe I can give up fighter stuff like heavy armor and tower shield prof. or bravery for some eastern weapon prof.?
Or I can stay as I am and deal with it.

As for hero points, I believe we have 1 for starting and another for character story but I am not completely sure.
Flaming Fox is cool but needs clarification. What are the fox's speed and movement modes? And is directing it each round an action, like flaming sphere?
Doesn't anybody have good diplomatic skills to talk with the Guard?
