Dwarven to Minniwick:
Edrukk will search along the 20' hallway, starting at the end and working his way along the left side, then going back to the end of the hallway and working his way along the right side.

At the front of the hallway you find a secret door and mechanism for opening it.....
Opening the door reveals the room beyond....
The ceiling in this 150 foot, square chamber rises to an apex thirty feet overhead. Great pairs of iron doors are set into opposite-facing walls, although only the northwest doors are sealed with a heavy iron bar. Each corner of the room holds a two-foot-tall stone brazier carved in the likeness of an ovoid creature with three stubby legs, three eyes, and three spindly arms spaced equidistantly around its pebbly body. Smoke issues from a gaping mouth atop the creature’s “head”. A dark, pungent haze fills the room. A nine-foot-tall gray stone statue of a dwarven warrior stands before the southeast set of iron doors, facing northeast. The dwarf stares blankly forward, two glistening black gems embedded in his eyes, a spiked helmet resting atop his formidable brow. His armor bears graven glyphs, and a shield is slung over his back. His stony gauntlets rest on the handle of a stone greataxe etched with fiery patterns. The head of the weapon is planted firmly on the floor. Draped over the statue is a mass of iron chains ending in nasty barbs, spikes, hooks, and blades. Some of them are coiled around the statue’s arms and legs to keep them from sliding off.
Anyone got a pdf of the malachite fortress map?

No kiddin'. I figured the chances of the myopic dwarf finding anything were somewhere between slim and none.
I do not believe that I have any electronic versions of any of the adventure path. I've been studiously not looking at what I do have because I'm playing in it, but I'm pretty sure everything I have is hard copy.
Edrukk refuses the flask from Minniwick. "Ah'm plannin' t' be in front. If'n some'un needs 'at potion, it 'll be better if'n ye 'r th' lass carried 't s' ye could be fer gettin' 't t' th' one needin' it."
He holds up a vial, "'sides, Ah still 'ave th' one from th' temple, eh?"

Canvy will take whatever coin is left over from Edruuk, "Well we don't want to waste it, never know, but if we find some more then..hmmm!!"
Entering the hall Canvy sniffs the air, "Could be religious this...reminds me of the incense they burned in them big cathedrals.." He looks to the dwarven statue and his eyes open wide as he see the black stone eyes. "Eh, see them gems lads, what do ya think, we could add them to our collection?" Canvy looks around and up into the ceiling before stepping forwards. "Come on then lads...oh and Erine"

Can Edrukk identify any signs that this is a religious site?

That's seems to be pretty normal for my characters - 1's and 2's for knowledge checks. Wonder what that says about me...

"Tha'statue looks'eh right nasty piece'o work. With'the luck we're havin', it'll prob'ly try'n kill us, too."
"In which case Broccan, we'll just have to keep a good look out, but it looks pretty safe to me! If it'll keep you happy, I'll have my polearm ready for action...hahaha...let's at least enjoy this, there are bound to be riches to come..."

KenderKin |
Broccan as you look around the chamber you spot a pair of hobgoblin guards looking out of the room through the double doors on the right, you turn quickly to the left hand doors and spot two more hobgoblins looking out this set of doors into the area beyond.....

Canvy
spell is actually a 15 burst so you can target both Hobgoblins on the left hand side, by targeting the center of the door....
Swirling chaotic energy flies from Canvy, hitting the center of the doors on the left hand side and exploding silently and nearly imperceptibly them clouding over the two hobgoblins.....

If it pleases the DM, seeing the hobgoblins on their side fall, will use a move action to proceed toward the other pair. (20' movement, of course)

Minniwick distracted by Erine's cry of pain carelessly tosses his bomb missing all the oponents and creating a acid slicked floor on the far side of the room.......The acid hisses eating at the rocks of the floor.
Canvy is up!
Edrukk
As you move towards the other side of the room you notice first the poorly thrown bomb, and second it seems as though the chains covering the statue have begun to move!

Edrukk Thorvirgun |

As Edrukk moves toward the other two hobgoblins, he veers around the statue in the middle, giving it a double-take as he goes.

As the hobgoblins fall, Broccan makes a quick look through the doors to see if there is anything or anyone beypond that might be a threat Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13.
If he doesn't see anything, he double-moves towards the other side of the room to challenge the hobgoblins still standing.
If he does see a potential threat beyond the doors, he stands his ground, prepared to face off against it.

KenderKin |
The two hobgoblins on the right have sucumbed to injuries, Canvy charges the other two hobgoblins, still armed with bows he plants an attack into the nearest one.

"I-it's an animated object!" Erine cries, clutching her wound and still looking shocked. "Don't use slashing weapons, and don't let it grab you!"
Edrukk Thorvirgun |

If he can reach the remaining hobgoblin with a 20' move, Edrukk will move up adjacent to it and attack. Otherwise, he will charge it.

Heeding Erine's warning, Broccan drops his sword (free action), draws his warhammer (part of move action, per PFCR), and steps forward to strike the statue.

As he does so he shouts to Edrukk, "Can you let me use that long old polearm (Bec de Corbin), that I lent ya, its very good for bashing things to a pulp."
I assume the polearm used by Canvy normally is a slashing weapon, that polearm was dropped at the entrance, when Canvy did his charge.

Falchion attack 1d20+4-1 Using Power Attack
Falchion damage 2d4+4+3As he does so he shouts to Edrukk, "Can you let me use that long old polearm (Bec de Corbin), that I lent ya, its very good for bashing things to a pulp."
I assume the polearm used by Canvy normally is a slashing weapon, that polearm was dropped at the entrance, when Canvy did his charge.
Edrukk returned the borrowed polearm when we left the pit hallway. I don't recall if I stated that explicitly, but that was always the intent. Edrukk's charge would have forced him to drop it at the entrance, as well, if he was carrying it.
If necessary pretty sure it's not, Edrukk attacks the last hobgoblin, moving to flank with Canvy if possible.
Otherwise, he will turn to face the animated statue. "Broccan, get back from 't!. Ah'd be fer wagerin' 'at 't 's only movin' 'cause we 'r t' close 'r 'cause o' th' fightin'!"
Attack v. hobgoblin, if needed (not including potential flank bonus):

Damage 2d6 + 3 ⇒ (4, 5) + 3 = 12

KenderKin |
All the hobgoblins are down and the chains spill off of the statue and begin moving toward doors on the right (towards Broccan).
You note that both sets of doors are very stong and have bars that must be lifted from inside this room to open.....
Minniwick, might consider using that acid!
