I have prepped the game and maps and am looking forward to running this for you in mid-May.

Is it too early to discuss which PC y'all would like to bring? I have prepped low tier (5-6). Is everyone OK with that?

Lhug, is the good doctor still planning to join us and have there been any sightings of Fleetwood in the wild?

low tier is fine with me... gotta figure out who I've got in that level range... probably my paladin-monk who is 5th... possibly 6th by then...

I have not spoken with DrGabe or Fleetwood since i noticed your email today, I will drop them a real email and point them this direction.

Fleetwood is teaching a class so he might be indisposed.

lol... Here is my 6th lvl monkadin, and I can see her herding cats... or demi-humans... along with some eye-rolling (her way of keeping her patience and a general state of wa).

Dusk is my level 6 slayer. He would be my first option, but I have at least one other.

Excellent. I've been kinda lax getting my chronicle sheets sorted out. Good thing it is forecasted to rain this weekend around here. I'll figure out exactly what I have available.

Thanks for setting this up! I am going to have to check - I am a little behind on applying chronicles, but Sifvery is 6 or maybe 7th now... She could play down, though.

Otherwise, I have a level 5 ranger who also looks free...

Looks like I do still need to apply a credit, but that brings Sifvery up to level 6, so she is in.

I’ll post the ground rules now in case there are any questions. If you have gamed with GMs like Aarvid, DrGabe or Endless Forms there shouldn’t be any surprises.

♞ Please make it obvious what buffs you have active and what your AC is.

♞ I will roll group initiative and track actions in ‘block’ order. In the example below, the PCs highlighted in bold text on the Line 1 ‘block’ can post actions in any order and I will adjudicate those actions in the order they were posted.

You can delay to a later position anywhere in initiative, as normal. As the turn for each PC’s block comes up, I will bold that block and invite those PCs to post their actions.

1. Dusk, Fool, Sifvery, Hakime, Sifvery
2. Weeping Angel
3. Wembly + Whiskers, DrGabe

Dusk, Fool, Sifvery, Hakime & Sifvery go first!

♞ Miss is always low if a miss chance applies. For example, if there is a 50% miss chance on a melee attack, a result of 1-50 on d100 is a miss.

♞ I generally allow PCs to roll their own saving throws, AoOs etc. However …

♞ I like a relatively fast-paced scenario. If you do not post an action within 24 hours from when I invite you to post, I reserve the right to take actions for your character.

♞ If I make a mistake on the current combat round, please let me know and I will try to make it right.

♞ Wembly and Whiskers have the same initiative modifier, so I would like to make one roll for the pair to keep them together and the game moving.

♞ I will roll any passive Perception checks for Wembly and Whiskers individually.

Its been a few years since I have played PbP until recently, so I decided to bring out an old favorite.

Meet Toro, a snake master and animal charmer of a now defunct circus troupe. He still owes money the Sczarni's and thus works for coin. The adventures are a plus.

I'm ready whenever you want to start... still sick as a dog though... so if I don't post fast enough, feel free to bot me. Starting new batch of antibiotics today, so hopefully will be done with this soon.

The nearest integer in both cases is 6, so we are firmly in low tier with no adjustment.

Possibly a cloak of resistance? Level 6 seems to be when saves become more important. In fact, Dusk bought a cloak of resistance.... Right after Luisila ran my last scenario....

Anyway he has too much gold burning a hole in is pocket.
