I have two players yet to check in, one responded to PM, one not. So there are still seats, but who gets in will depend on what answers I hear in the time between now and the gameday. Please feel free to discuss characters and subtier. Phylotus has a 4th level character we will be trying to get into tier by then, just so everyone knows.

I've got 2 characters who could join the game if possible.
Wolfgang is a Fighter (mutation warrior) 3/ Gunslinger (bolt ace) 2. He's rather effective at killing stuff from the distance.
Ashara is a lvl 5 Life Oracle, and she does what you'd expect from a life oracle: cures and support with decent summoning.

I also have a Magus character of much lower level that might be able to 5th level when this game starts. He'd actually be my favorite to join, since his background gives him a strong hatred of the Aspis Consortium.

Will probably base my decision on who is bringing what by the time the game starts (and whether my magus can get to 5th level anyway).

Hi! I just found the Gameday VII page, and thought I'd see if I could join this game.

Figure I better chime in here with my potential characters for this session.

I have an 8 Fighter, 7 Wizard, and 6 Paladin I would like to play for this session. I would prefer to only use the Fighter in the high tier. I will be more than happy to play the Wizard or Paladin for OOT or low tier.

I have a couple more 5's available too and I suppose I have or will have enough GM credits lying around to get them to 6 before August 13th.

Once I have confirmed the table and characters, I will open a gameplay thread to dot in.

Rhiannon's player is still very interested! But I may wind up with a 5th level Magus (Athalis) that seems like he'd be a better fit. I should be able to get him to 5th level before this game starts, but it'll be a close thing. I will let you know for sure in the week prior to the game start, if that's OK?

We also have a character working to get finished with another scenario. As we get closer to the start date, we can evaluate if a delay would be worth it or if we just need to get on with it.

Main thing I would like to see is how our character classes and levels are lining out.

I'd like to see that as well, given we are 2 weeks out. I will open the gameplay thread once we have a semi-firm party comp.

Rhiannon's player here. I'll actually have my Magus 5 for this one. I still need to purchase equipment and such (I'm using GM credits to get him from Level 2 to current Level 5), but he'll be ready to go by August 13th.

I am looking at a one day delay at the moment pending Phylotus getting one more game in Monday night.

No problems! Athalis is ready to go and I've made his equipment purchases as well.

What classes and levels are we looking at here? I've got a few classes that can make this if it is low tier, but am limited to my L8 Fighter for the high tier.

If I remember right, Phylotus and Wei Ji have level 5-6 characters.

I do have a L6 Warpriest, so he would fit the tier and the need so far. With a wizard, a magus, a hellknight so far that I know of, he'd fit in. Or I could use a few of the GM credits and bump my cleric to 6. Then again, I could leave him at 5 too.

Google Slides is up to help work out party composition.

Decided to go with Borox, my L6 Cleric. I will have him ready to roll tomorrow.

Thokzazt is still in a PbP that should be finishing shortly.

I have a variety of other options though, Some Low-tier, Some High-tier. I also have a variety of classes and Options to fill out whatever we need!

I'm going to state that my Preference would be an 8 or 9, but I have no problem playing down and toning it back a bit :D

I would like to wait for Thokzazt, as we are right at the final battle of that PbP, but I will defer to the preference of the table.

Agraic is at 9.2 (if there's no subtlety desired he's a half-elf Scarab Sage Caydenite 'barbarian')

Karasuma Tazou is at 7.1 (tengu 'dirty attorney', URog 5/Shdncr 2)

Not a problem to wait for me. I'm going on a week-long vacation starting tonight, and though I'm hoping to stay current with my other pbp games using my smartphone, it's likely to be a pain in the butt, so one less thread to check is fine with me. :)

That sounds excellent. We are going to try and finish The Devil We Know this Friday if our Roll20 players are all available, so that will actually be perfect. In the meantime, please finalize PC choices and I will post the opening gameplay message on Saturday.

I've set the scene for introductions, start time is this Saturday.

Website willing, the opening post will go up tomorrow morning. Still waiting on two characters to check in to the gameplay thread.

Now About that Tactics Post:

Thokzazt tends to run up the middle in combat, and Beat the hell out of things with his mace. Lawbreakers are First Priority, and those that harm his comrades are a close second.

He... probably has a good bit more armor than he needs, and sleeps in it, so you have probably not seen the person beneath the mask. If there is an appropriate time, you might get a peek.

His Hellknight plate has a bunch of enchantments that he can utilize as a Super Handy bag of tricks!

Malewyn is a two-weapon fighter with a sort of sneak attack, so getting around into a flank is usually her preferred strategy

If your 'Blackjacket' makes Thokzazt aware of that, He is more that willing to run around to the back (Eating the AoOs as well) to provide you with a flank. He is Surprisingly Spry for Full Plate!

Apologies if I threw a wrench in the plan. My take was that we were going to get close enough to the lookout to take him out quickly and then head into the cave. With you all in position around him, Athalis got in and cast Daze to give you all a round to knock him out so he couldn't give warning.

Chalk it up to a soldier's assessment (as well as having a strong hatred toward the Aspis), and not necessarily what you all were thinking. Perhaps we should have discussed OOCly what our plan was beforehand? Going forward, seems like a good thing to do.
