Poog tries to approach one of the toads stealthily.

On his to tips he tries not to fall into the water and finally leaps onto the toad but the toad jumps away and he drops face down into the mud.
CMB: 1d20 - 3 + 2 ⇒ (4) - 3 + 2 = 3

Chuffy is more sneaky than any dumb toad. The nimble goblin approaches and easily snags a really fat Toad oozing toad poison.

Again assuming I can use finesse for this combat maneuver.

Reta stays very quiet while others muck around, then she sees her moment to pounce and catches a toad.

With a big grin in her big balloon head, she says "First try!"

Reta stops picking her nose, it was all a deception plan as she stood perfectly still! She snatches a toad as it wanders by.

Finally! Poog is holding up his toad which burps a protest at the act as it was trying to catch some passing insects. For all that effort it only looks like a modest toad and probably not 'the one'. Poog also notices the stick that just stuck him in the leg is actually the tip of a dogslicer pointing up through the silt...

"Oh, look what I found. A stick with a sharp end."

"That's mine! I putst it there to see if you stick yerself... give it back!"

"Haha Reta is lying! But Poog too dumb to catch toad. Poog too dumb to fight wit pointy stick!

As the two Goblins wrestle the dogslicer out of the mud they see it is attached to a hand, which is attached to an arm, which is attached to something under the silt...

The curious Goblins start digging around in the silt and the further investigation reveals two pickled Goblin corpses in the waters below, along with a second dogslicer, a javelin, a grappling hook, an unholy symbol of Zarongel, two wooden spoons, two dead moles, and a jar of pickled fish heads.

"Woohoo! Now we each get dogslicer!"

Chuffy collects the eadibles for later...

"Hey, I got the bestest toad in the pond! You too dumb to see! Looks, it has more warts than yous!"

After realizing that the dogslicer is attached to something Poog is very interested in the unholy symbol. "Looks at this, this looks likes mine. Without teeth marks. I'll keeps this."

Poog picks up a dead mole and sniffs at it. "Good stink. You thinks wet stinky moles are good for eating later?"

"Me want dead moles!"

The horrible morning sunshine slowly gives way to a refreshing, dank drizzle as you all cross the marsh on their way to the Cave of Darkfear.

Ahead you see a rudely-shaped fallen log blocking the path. A weasely, green-gray figure climbs astride it— Kettlehead the goblin, his polished pot still perched upon his puckered puss. He cries, “Stupid baby wannabe goblins!” as a pair of other whelps from the cage—Culgick and Rempty—scramble up beside him. Kettlehead continues, waving a mean-looking dogslicer over his head. “You took toads from Kettlehead’s special pond, and now you have to pay my price. Give me all your toads! And say you be stupid!”

"You be stupid, stupid!" Poog answers. "Never I will hand my toad to you, took me almost a day to catch it! It's my pet and its has the biggest warts! His name is Flotsh."

Poog stands on his toe tips to look bigger.

My Toad piss on your ugly face Kettlehead! Chuffy retorts as he swings his broomstick.

"Right! You are getting whacked into paste! Stupid babies!"

Kettleheads crew charge!

Chuffy is a smart Goblin and knows it's best to attack from the back. Hesneaks around Kettle head and Wham! Merely scratches the big Goblin.
