They eye Reta off...

Reta grins sheepishly, and shrugs. She just can't bring herself to run away, even though she knows she should. She swings the club again.

Attack Orange: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Reta gallantly charges forward and just smashes the Kettle on Kettleheads Head.
Kettlehead falls into the mud. His friends look at each other "Err... Reta is attractive and smart, and can spit real gud. Reta is the best!"

Kettlehead carries various rewards from the Licktoad tribe as well as a Small shortbow (in need of a bowstring), a quiver with seven arrows, a hard leather boot, a salt shaker, and five bottles whose labels feature the same smiling half-elf woman wearing a jester’s cap.

Reta opens a bottle and sniffs the contents. Unless there is some compelling reason not to, she then guzzles some down.

She also takes the bow. And the arrows. And the boot - "that's all I need."

Reta drinks it! It tastes like grain alcohol, peppermint, and seawater.
Heals 4hp

Reta realises all her frendz is napping in the mud with busted heads.

"Ha! All for me!" But then, she quickly gets bored and tries to wake the others, feeding them drinks as she can.

I am out now until late tonight, so everyone feel free to bot me in order to get everyone awake!

Reta pours one of the yuk-yuk-yuk drinks down the necks of her unconscious friends.

Well, Poog has one cure light wounds prepared, maybe we should rest until we are all fully healed?

Poog awakes with a terrible headache. "Ouch, what happened? All I remember was goblin with strange bowl on head."

Chuffy tries to spit out whatever Reta poured down his throat and looks at her angrily.

Blah yucky yuck! That Kettlehead. Now he's dead. Reta kills him! Now we bring our toad to Reat before more bullies come by...

With the big dumb bully out of the way, you are free to press on...

In the shade of gray cypress trunks, a sagging human-made cave squats on the muddy ground, overgrown with swamp brambles and leaning precariously to one side.

You may rest up if you need to, but before you return home Yyu must present your Toad to the entrance of the cave, and let the Darkfear Spirit within know who you are, and the name of your toad - and any other big claims to fame...

Do we know if the spirit is always there or only a few hours a month/year/whatever? 2HP short is a lot if you have only 5 :D

Not communicated by the big cheez...all they said was go to the mouth of the cave and present, like many Goblinz before you...

You got toads, you just need to go and present them to the cave and make a show of it :P

Chuffy brave as ever lets the other Goblins go first.

Reta steps forward, and holds her toad out in front of her. "Reta Bigbad presents Spotol! I big time goblin ready to crush the world!"

The cave responds with silence. You assume as no spirit came out and whacked Reta to paste that it means all is good.

When nothing happens Poog follows Reta into the cave. Inside he sees the goblin girl standing around like nothing happened he says "Go away, you are bad." to Reta and picks his toad. "Mine is biggest and fattest, it will work." the golbin says and presents his toad.

"This is Dogfinder, the mightiest toad in this swamp. Me promises to take care of him as long he lives."

Morgmurch steps forward.

"My toad Horsekiller is best toad! Me take care of him after ALL goblins dead!"

Poog makes his claim...and nothing happens.

Mogmurch does a great job! There is much yelling and noise and drama!

It appears to summon the Darkfear Spirit which comes tearing at him with terrible anger and lashing claws - although it seems to be disguised as a rather pudgy pair of grabby cats!
