Yeah the poor thing gets pretty destroyed, just making sure everyine hd a chance to resolve

Darren spits the thing but it keeps going, the boat rocks and lurches causing Yugatta to miss, but Blossym manages to crack the vial of holy water across the things head and it falls to the deck in a heap of hissing holy steam and water logged flesh.

The others lurch forwards in a frenzy of teeth and claws!

In the wildness of the frenzied melee, a lantern is knocked form the wall and the burning oil runs along the woodwork dramatically and also spills on various ropes and boxes - Yugatta the sailor can immediately see how unsafe the hold is, and the laziness and greed of the sailors who clearly neglected proper safety standards... this ship is a deathtrap!

The second hit drops the creature.

Yugatta and Baphos look over the stern and see the smashed remains of what is left of the boat you all arrived on, and the sea creature poring over the parts wondering where the meals went.

Down below, Darren manages to locate a locked box and simply smashes off the lock, the spreading flames not leaving much time for finesse - and within he Inside, wrapped in moldering velvet, rest four tablets each crafted from a different material— copper, gold, lead, and black slate. The crudely fashioned tablets are incredibly ancient and of Azlanti heritage.

Fleeing the fire, the party piles uncomfortably into a small rowboat, all crammed in and barely fitting so many bodies, and begins the long row back to shore.
