Darren was actually trying to run the girl through, counting on his allies to deal with the thug
-Posted with Wayfinder

Shifty |

LOL client walked in whilst I was half way through posting
Darren is surprised when the man falls like a sack of potatoes.
The swashbuckler wheels and slices into the girl!
Yugatta doesn't manage to land a firm blow!
Clarification, the guy has apparently fallen over unconscious, that is correct :)

![]() |

Blossym spins around in a flash, slashing at the man's ankles.
Wakizashi, bless: 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 6 + 1 = 17for damage of: 1d4 ⇒ 1
Practice... keep practicing, Blossym. Soon you will be a potent warrior! As in 3 more levels. ;)
Edit: added bless

This is weird, we could be doing an error.
"Pathfinders, we may be doing an error. We maybe are seen as responsable of those kills. This is not my job to change your fate but it is your choice. "
ready a stabilise for anybody who fall down
bless +1 moral to attack and to fear effect. (All allies)

Weathering the storm, the thug manages to stay staunch and continue fighting the party!
He swings at Yugatta,
Attack 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 2 = 7
Though the press of flesh against him is stifling his chances!
The girl begins casting...
Defensive cast 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
...but her spell fizzles!
Party up!
Yugatta
Nijena

Blossym
Baphos

Darren tries to run the girl through again, grimacing as he does so.
rapier, attack, bless: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 8 + 1 = 14 for piercing: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Yugatta focuses her attention for a special strike at the girl. Unless she's already down, in which case at the remaining thug.
Stunning Fist, bless: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 5 + 1 = 25 Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 + stun 1 rd, Fort DC15 negates
Unless otherwise noted, Yugatta is using Hamatulatsu style piercing damage. There are special effects if she confirms a critical.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19 To identify the spell she tried to cast
Did the thug pass the save for my spell?
I still don't take my turn

Shifty |

Did the thug pass the save for my spell?
I'm surprised he passed the round - when the nat 1 came up on his attack roll I didn't dig any further on to the pros and cons of his fate - you didn't just Doom him, you practically wrote his final destiny too :p Her spell was Burning Hands
Darren drops the woman just as Yugatta brings matters to a close in the corner.
/end combat

Darren spits on the woman's shoes. "Let's bind 'er, then wake 'er up and find out what's going on." He looks at the prone man. "Anything we can do for him or is he gone?"

Baphos comes close to dead bodies and searches for information or something useful. He will take his time to look for clues, and then look around.
If it is needed, he will cast detect magic. Let me know if you need some dice.

Shifty |

Baphos detects magic, and a scroll is located...
The 'girl' fades away and in her place a Kellid woman is revealed, clearly there was an illusion at play!
Each of the two thugs carried:
Studded leather, Buckler, longsword, composite shortbow, quiver with 20 arrows, backpack, 50 ft. silk rope, a grappling hook, signal whistle, silver earring (5 gp), 1 gp.
The woman has a quarterstaff, dagger, scroll of arcane lock, spell component pouch and spell components
There is another door in this room.

![]() |

Darren helps to search the room for anything else of significance perception, aid another: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 and then ties the woman up and starts trying to slap her awake.
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

Working with Darren, Blossym searches the room.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
With all of the blood and gore here, she feels that her search while adequate was less than perfectly thorough.

Shifty |

I assume Jobin was stabilising friend AND foe
The woman is firmly out from her injuries, and failing magical intervention, wont be coming around soon...
Blossym finds nothing in the room, but behind the door finds a storage area with a semi-concealed trap door in the floor that reveals a ladder going down to the sewers below.

![]() |

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
After she listens very carefully for any sounds or movement under the trap door, Blossym turns to her fellow Pathfinders. "The path leads on and downward. Shall I scout ahead for us? I am quite sneaky, you know!"

![]() |

To Blossym,
This woman is prepared to go with you, silently and unseen.
Stealth +7. Feel free to accept or decline as you wish.

![]() |

Baphos listens to Darren and casts Stabilize on the bodies. "This is the best I can do."
Then, he takes a silk rope, a grappling hook, a signal whistle. "Probably this will be useful. Let see If we can get info from these bodies before we leave."

![]() |

Darren throws the woman over his shoulders. "She's comin' with us until she wakes up. Let's go."
The cleric will probably channel energy to heal one of us sooner or later. When he does, she'll wake up, bound and gagged.

![]() |

As he shifts the woman on his shoulders, he realizes some of the blood that's covering him is his own. "Ah..." he swears under his breath and puts the woman back down. He fishes out a wand. "One of you mind closing up a few of my bloody spots with this?" he glances at the woman, "and maybe heal her up to; I want to know what's going on here."
I don't care of you use the wand or your daily resources, but Darren would like some healing and he does want to see the woman awake.

![]() |

"This will be useful. Why didn't you talk about the wand before?." Then, Baphos takes the wand and casts Cure Light Wounds with the wand.
On Darren, Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
"This will take time
On Darren, Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
"Now, you are ready."
On the woman, Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Wand charges used 3.

"Why don't you tell us what you were doing here?"
intimidate or diplomacy as needed. +7 for either

Shifty |

She sneers at Darren trying to be reasonable, but when he changes tune and leans on her she capitulates, having obviously calculated her odds... “Darsielle’s that way. Head through the Underdocks to find the Hydra’s Fang. The harbor guards down below know where he moored the ship. He moves it often, we were supposed to ask them where it was docked when we were finished here.”

![]() |

"Why'd you kill that man?"
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

"Let's take these murderous thugs to the constable, or whomever, and then get on with our mission."
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

This woman suggests that Darsielle may make his escape while we travel to the constable, so perhaps to leave her bound and gagged is a better option.
In any case, we must make the haste lest he get away anyway.

Shifty |

I assume some common sense and at least a cursory check (Take 10) for 1n 18...
Blossym checks the trapdoor and finds that it is, in fact trapped. Grease on the ladder...
Navigating the party past it, you head into the underdocks.
You enter into a gloomy, greenish twilight where scattered beams of light filter down between weathered dock planks, bouncing off seaweed covered stones that jut from the dark harbor waters. A forest of pylons suspends the docks above where the scurrying feet of merchants, sailors, and longshoremen hammer like a muffled thunderstorm. Between the pylons, you spot small stone bunkers, ruins of older siege forts now crumbling and weathered from centuries of angry waves. A narrow set of docks traverses the rocks, connecting various locations. Eventually, all lead out to the shallow bay at the mouth of the maze. Nearby, you notice a fresh trail of muck-limned, wet footprints.
Up ahead you note a nearby dock and two rowboats. A pair of men are near a small bunker and guarding the boats, one quietly puffing on his pipe. They don't appear to be hostile.

"Would like that I initiate the talking?"says jobin to the others.
-Posted with Wayfinder

![]() |

Yes, if thou please. This woman is...not words good sometimes.

![]() |

Thanks You Blossom. Together, we will find this boat.
Jobin nods in direction of Blossom and walks in direction of the guards.
"Greeting, protector of the dock, we would like to know where the boat Hydra's fang is acosted. The captain have something we would like to buy."

Shifty |

The men look over to you "Sounds reasonable, pretty sure we have the records we can check. You have your Harbourmasters Pass on you, yes?" he looks at you expectantly, clearly waiting for you to produce it. The other fellow is heading towards the bunker, inside you can see a table with various maps of the harbour, books, and ledgers.

![]() |

Darren jogs over to join the conversation, "Jobin, I think we left it at the inn." bluff: 10 + 7 = 17

Baphos stays quiet, he doesn´t say a word. He is watchig what´s going on?
I took my time searching the bodies. They didn´t have a Harbourmasters Pass. What the hell are they talking about?
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8

Yugatta wonders what's going on.
Sense Motive: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Aaaand she *still* wonders what's going on.
