FYI, I'm going to consider this "round" over this evening. (About 6 hours from now.) So, you have about 6 real life hours until that guard walks over and things start to get loud to decide* on a plan.

*I follow the rule of two, so once two of you agree on a plan, we'll move forward with it.

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

I could keep moving ahead and try to stay ahead of him

Sovereign Court

M Half-elf Fighter-Lore Warden 1/ Inquisitor of Shelyn 2 | HP 31 | AC 20 / T 13 / F 17 | Fort +6 / Ref +4 / Will +7 | CMB +4 / CMD 17 (19 vs. grapple) |

Who's top notch at bluff? Vogue can cast prestidigitation to make a facsimile of an Aspis badge. Per the spell description, it will look crude but it's dark so we might still squeeze a slight bit of believability from it. We say we're sent by Maiveer Sloan who has a change of plans to pick up the money because those meddling Pathfinders are up to something. And I can reach out and touch the shoulder of the lead bluffer for Bit of Luck while everyone else attempts to aid (because that would be my standard action instead of aiding).

Grand Lodge

Male NG Elf Stygian Slayer/Magus 2/3 - HP: 33 - AC:19/T:14/FF:15 - Fort:7, Ref:9, Will:4; +2 vs. enchantment - CMB:+7, CMD:21 - Speed:30 - Perception:+8 - Init: +6 - Arcane Pool (4) - Magus spells prepared: 0 (DC13): detect magic, disrupt undead, light, mage hand, open/close; 1 (DC14): blend, color spray, shocking grasp, vanish

Ach, so sorry I didn't post yesterday. I had some company come in from out of town and didn't have any time in between work, preparation, and hosting.

Grand Lodge

Slides

Alright, as promised, I am moving the round forward. We'll keep moving at the pace of one round per day, just to force some movement, until we commit to a plan.

I moved Bennybeck forward, following his plan. I moved Pazacku in with the group. The group is currently in the shadow of a tree and hidden, unless you do something loud.

Grand Lodge

Male NG Elf Stygian Slayer/Magus 2/3 - HP: 33 - AC:19/T:14/FF:15 - Fort:7, Ref:9, Will:4; +2 vs. enchantment - CMB:+7, CMD:21 - Speed:30 - Perception:+8 - Init: +6 - Arcane Pool (4) - Magus spells prepared: 0 (DC13): detect magic, disrupt undead, light, mage hand, open/close; 1 (DC14): blend, color spray, shocking grasp, vanish

I posted! If Fingalad sees a magic aura on the cart (particularly abjuration) we'll have to talk about a new plan. But I think maybe we got this chest bloodlessly. If it has the goods, do we want to put it somewhere safe and go greedily after the other wagon as well?

Also, I updated my profile to match my notes; main change you'll see from the outdated stuff that was there before is a magically enhanced bow and a different set of prepared spell.

Grand Lodge

Male LN Oread Warpriest (Torag) 5 | HP 35/43 | AC 21 T 11 FF 21 | CMB +7, CMD 18 | F: +6, R: +1, W: +7 | Init: +0| Perc: +8, SM: +7 | Speed 20ft | Fervor 3/5, Sacred Weapon 5/5, Blessing 5/5 | Spells: 1st 5/5, 2nd: 1/3 | Active conditions: None

If Fingalad has Color Spray, then cast that on the sleeping ones to keep them down, have two or three knock out rover and I can either just haul the chest (with bull's strength at 22 STR) or smash it open and take the gold.

I don't have Dispel so we will just have to deal with the box magic.

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

LOL. I sometimes wonder whether or not I should go arcane trickster with him, I prefer spell casters :)

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

Do we have anyone with arcane magic or someone that can put them to sleep?

Grand Lodge

Slides

Vogue- Bluff plans, when they work, work spectacularly. But, there is a reason people don't use them 100% of the time. You'll have 7 people making Sense Motive checks against you, so make sure you can get a high roll!

Reaper- Fingalad has color spray prepared.

Benny- It doesn't look like anyone has a spell that puts people to sleep.

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

Hmm. Any ideas?

Grand Lodge

Male NG Elf Stygian Slayer/Magus 2/3 - HP: 33 - AC:19/T:14/FF:15 - Fort:7, Ref:9, Will:4; +2 vs. enchantment - CMB:+7, CMD:21 - Speed:30 - Perception:+8 - Init: +6 - Arcane Pool (4) - Magus spells prepared: 0 (DC13): detect magic, disrupt undead, light, mage hand, open/close; 1 (DC14): blend, color spray, shocking grasp, vanish

I'm down with the color spray plan. Fingalad can get right up next to them. I'd prefer a plan that doesn't involve handling a basilisk.

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

He is scared of a basilisk :)

Grand Lodge

Slides

Sounds like we still have three plans being brought out:

1. Reaper and Vogue are ready to Bluff or fight.

2. Fingalad and Benny want to ambush the covered wagon with a color spray then... fight? Or grab the chest and run?

2 v 2! Somebody switch sides, or break the tie. Lol

Silver Crusade

Male LG Tengu Paladin(Shining Knight) of Shizuru 6 | HP 46/46| AC 20; T 12; FF 18; CMD 22(24 if wielding Katana) | Fort +8; Ref +6; Will +7 | Init: +2 | Perc: +1, SM: +6 | Speed 20ft | Smite Evil 2/2; Lay on Hands 5/5; Razor Sharp 9/9; Aura: Courage 10ft | Spells: See Character Sheet | Active conditions:

I'd vote for color spray, grab the chest and then run. Fight only as last resort.

Grand Lodge

Male NG Elf Stygian Slayer/Magus 2/3 - HP: 33 - AC:19/T:14/FF:15 - Fort:7, Ref:9, Will:4; +2 vs. enchantment - CMB:+7, CMD:21 - Speed:30 - Perception:+8 - Init: +6 - Arcane Pool (4) - Magus spells prepared: 0 (DC13): detect magic, disrupt undead, light, mage hand, open/close; 1 (DC14): blend, color spray, shocking grasp, vanish

I'm thinking grab the chest and run, mostly. Color spray makes sense, since that can take out the guys right by the wagon. I'd like to see a feint happen on the other side of the camp first.

Sovereign Court

We have our plan, let the action commence!

Grand Lodge

Slides

Sounds like a great plan! Fingalad, take your action, and tell me who you are going to color spray.

Everyone else, move to where you want to be and ready an action for when the color spray goes off.

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

Do we know that the chest is the right one though? Just because it has a magical aura doesnt mean that it is in fact magical.

Grand Lodge

Slides

You don't know for sure that is the right one. But...

You haven't seen a single other chest.

Grand Lodge

Slides

Approximately 48 hours until this encounter ends.

Get the chest, and don't get frozen by a basilisk.

I'm so excited for Vogue's next turn. And yes, it's alright to toss the bow outside the webbing.

No pain, no gain. Eyebrows are overrated. And the deep-fried look is in this year.

To tell the truth, I was kind of hoping for some more fireworks to have taken place with that action, so to speak.

Grand Lodge

Slides

10/10. That was quite excellent. By the way, Lucy can now walk out with no saves at all. She just needs to move into the burned area. Grey will still need to make a CMB save to not get caught.

Grand Lodge

Last round. Make the most of it. You're very close to breaking their morale. Also very close to getting that chest 120 feet from the wizard. Either one will win you the fight.

Well done, team! We did a good job of handling the situation when our plan went awry.

Has a full night's rest occurred since the evening's robbery or are we still on the same "day" to do the new obstruction missions to the other bidders?

Grand Lodge

Slides

Yes, you get to sleep in between that fight and the New post.

Sovereign Court

M Half-elf Fighter-Lore Warden 1/ Inquisitor of Shelyn 2 | HP 31 | AC 20 / T 13 / F 17 | Fort +6 / Ref +4 / Will +7 | CMB +4 / CMD 17 (19 vs. grapple) |

From the last encounter, please don't let the useful loot go to waste. Someone should snag that CLW potion, preferably someone who can't cast healing already and that web wand and spellbook would surely be of use to our magus.

Grand Lodge

Slides

2 CLW potions! And two of everything else, pretty much.

Sovereign Court

M Half-elf Fighter-Lore Warden 1/ Inquisitor of Shelyn 2 | HP 31 | AC 20 / T 13 / F 17 | Fort +6 / Ref +4 / Will +7 | CMB +4 / CMD 17 (19 vs. grapple) |

Vogue will grab those items and be the assumed one holding them. If someone wants something from that list, just mention so. Two CLW potions should not go to waste during a scenario.

Grand Lodge

Male NG Elf Stygian Slayer/Magus 2/3 - HP: 33 - AC:19/T:14/FF:15 - Fort:7, Ref:9, Will:4; +2 vs. enchantment - CMB:+7, CMD:21 - Speed:30 - Perception:+8 - Init: +6 - Arcane Pool (4) - Magus spells prepared: 0 (DC13): detect magic, disrupt undead, light, mage hand, open/close; 1 (DC14): blend, color spray, shocking grasp, vanish

Fingalad will happily take the wand and spellbook. What's the PFS procedure for copying spells from a spellbook? I'd like to just do it now for the end of the scenario.

Grand Lodge

Slides

See pages 219-220 of the CRB for how to copy spells from a spell book. It involves a skill check and a GP cost.

alarm, grease, mage armor, magic missile, shield and Create Pit are in the spell book.

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

Sorry, I came back home yesterday from a conference with a migraine,

Grand Lodge

Male NG Elf Stygian Slayer/Magus 2/3 - HP: 33 - AC:19/T:14/FF:15 - Fort:7, Ref:9, Will:4; +2 vs. enchantment - CMB:+7, CMD:21 - Speed:30 - Perception:+8 - Init: +6 - Arcane Pool (4) - Magus spells prepared: 0 (DC13): detect magic, disrupt undead, light, mage hand, open/close; 1 (DC14): blend, color spray, shocking grasp, vanish

On the one hand, Spellcraft looks like a skill that one normally can't take 10 for when doing this. On the other hand, my modifier (+7) is high enough that I can succeed, and the amount of time between scenarios is indeterminate... So can I just take 10? At the end of the scenario?

Grand Lodge

Slides

I believe you are allowed to take ten, and anytime during or after the scenario is fine.

Grand Lodge

Male NG Elf Stygian Slayer/Magus 2/3 - HP: 33 - AC:19/T:14/FF:15 - Fort:7, Ref:9, Will:4; +2 vs. enchantment - CMB:+7, CMD:21 - Speed:30 - Perception:+8 - Init: +6 - Arcane Pool (4) - Magus spells prepared: 0 (DC13): detect magic, disrupt undead, light, mage hand, open/close; 1 (DC14): blend, color spray, shocking grasp, vanish

Alright, Fingalad will do it in the next down time. He doesn't have any of those spells yet, and only 3 of them are on the Magus spell list, so that will be 30gp.

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

How many points do we need to earn?

Grand Lodge

Slides

Zero! Ha! The number of points is a competition between the team's for who is the coolest.

However, the number of points the "convention" earns affects the last fight's difficulty.

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

We bad, we bad!

Things you know:

He is a merchant.

He might not have enough funds, but is still a danger.

He is living on the estate, so no harm must come to him.

You need to convince him that the key is cursed. Most likely this will happen through a combination of social skills and magic or other class features.

Get creative!

Vogue was giving you bit of luck

Bit of Luck (Sp): You can touch a willing creature as a standard action, giving it a bit of luck. For the next round, any time the target rolls a d20, he may roll twice and take the more favorable result.

So you can roll twice and use the better result

Sovereign Court

M Half-elf Fighter-Lore Warden 1/ Inquisitor of Shelyn 2 | HP 31 | AC 20 / T 13 / F 17 | Fort +6 / Ref +4 / Will +7 | CMB +4 / CMD 17 (19 vs. grapple) |

I've got seven daily uses of Bit of Luck, if we need more than one diplomacy or bluff check on Sneve, I'll expend a use for your roll.

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

Oh, okay, I will roll again

Grand Lodge

Just a reminder, a lot of you have social skills, charm spells and fear effects which could help here. One character making the same check repeatedly might make this guy suspicious...

Grand Lodge

Male NG Elf Stygian Slayer/Magus 2/3 - HP: 33 - AC:19/T:14/FF:15 - Fort:7, Ref:9, Will:4; +2 vs. enchantment - CMB:+7, CMD:21 - Speed:30 - Perception:+8 - Init: +6 - Arcane Pool (4) - Magus spells prepared: 0 (DC13): detect magic, disrupt undead, light, mage hand, open/close; 1 (DC14): blend, color spray, shocking grasp, vanish

I don't think Fingalad has much to add here. No social skills and no relevant spells. Not to mention spell casting is pretty conspicuous with all the hand waving and muttering.

Silver Crusade

Rogue 3/1 Diviner AC 19, touch 15, flat-footed 15(+4 armor, +3 Dex, +1 dodge, +1 size) hp 28 (3d8+3) Fort +3, Ref +7, Will +5; +2 vs. fear Percpetion +12, In +8

He isnt doing too badly :)
