You know, surviving 36 seconds against a terrifying five headed death monster is actually pretty impressive. I wonder how often the owner doesn't have to pay out...
Reaper, I'm alright with you borrowing those weapons. The man wants a good show, he can find a shield and sword for you. However, if you want something nicer than a mundane sword, like a mastercrafted one, you will need to buy it and sell it back after.

Sorry for the delay everyone; I moved this weekend.

Yeah, I'm not new to RPG's or PFS (almost have my 4th GM star) but the PBP format is still sort of new to me. I'm concurrently on my fifth and sixth PBP games now and still learn a thing or two. Which I'm cool with, I enjoy learning new bits and improving.

It is a bit of a non-intuitive trick to use those fields as active info. Took me a while to figure it out at well.
Next you need to run them. :) I am finding it a good way to get some extra tables every month since I can only get maybe two in person tables a month. (mostly due to my own schedule)

I agree. I started jumping in PBP as a player for some more PFS as an outlet to play some more to augment what I am not getting often enough at the game store events due to schedule and/or GMing at said game days. And I'm loving it; players and GMs are typically so much more expressive in prose than what can sometimes happen at a face to face table during a typical 4-5 hour scenario slot. And I wholeheartedly agree that if you can GM, you should GM. And I am tinkering with a private PBP game right now with some local friends ( including one who moved 2 hours away and we don't see as much anymore) to be my guinea pigs for a run through Master of the Fallen Fortress. And I can make mistakes and practice in private before jumping in to post to run a public game on the message boards.

How can a PFS group be inbred?

The auction mechanics have been simplified for PbP. Basically, I have reported all of your successes to the Overseer. If the total of all of the tables is higher than the NPC's, you win! And the society gets the key. (Whichever table got the most points is the table which gets the final bid.)

Did anyone else have problems with the site yesterday? I tried getting on after a class I taught and was unable to do so until now.
Not just you.

Slipped in with a near simultaneous post again! And I was going to have Vogue comment on the smell and how it would surely stick to his clothes and hair and go around it.
GM Ewok, it's like you read my mind perfectly.

Alright, good news! We just learned that there are boons available for this event! The way this works is I will roll for us all, in alphabetical order by player name, and anyone who gets a 1 or a 20 wins!
GM: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Andrew Harasty: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Caps: 1d20 ⇒ 4
Jason Rodarte: 1d20 ⇒ 8
Jerry Wayne: 1d20 ⇒ 10
Stonegarde: 1d20 ⇒ 14
Zach D: 1d20 ⇒ 18
Well, that's awkward. Better luck next time everybody! (There will be boons for outpost as well!)
Boon?: 1d3 ⇒ 1

No biggie, random is random and fair is fair. I've ran plenty enough game store game days where the RSP dice rolled that way sometimes.

Thanks for the table all.
I suspect I will see all of you again somewhere.

Thanks for playing, everybody! I hope you all had fun! Specials can be quite crazy on PbP, but I think we all did well!
We were right in the middle of the pack with 65 points. That was pretty normal for the lower tier tables. The points system is definitely biased towards higher tiers as certain encounters didn't scale by level. (The chase, for example)
I will have chronicles on here in about 11 hours!

I am looking at either staying rogue the next time he levels or taking a level in an arcane class so that he might go arcane trickster. What do you think?

Arcane Trickster sounds fun to me. I love, love, love the utility of spellcasting. More and more I'm only making characters with some kind of caster level. You could go archaeologist bard or magus to still get some boosts to your attack rolls; arcanist or wizard will basically be a hard loss to your ability to hit.

I never thought about magus or bard since they would help keep his armor class up since he would be able to use the armor up to medium I believe. Magus does not have mage hand as a spell on its list though. Bard would help keep skills up too.

Thanks for playing, everyone! Here are the Chronicles!
Please let me know if there is anything out of place and I will be happy to correct it.
Reaper and Grey, you both got out-of-tier gold so yours is a little odd. But I ran the numbers by the other GM's, so they should be right.
This scenario is reported! I will close out this campaign on Monday unless someone has an issue I can help with! Again, thanks for the great game!
