***OVERSEER ANNOUNCEMENT***
A lone Pathfinder suddenly breaks through the gaping wall of elementals and runs towards the Emissary’s platform, leading the charge. It is Jin-Goro of the Exchange faction!
Cheers erupt from fellow Pathfinders as they rally to keep the gap open whilst the brave and desperate lone figure races forward.
Jin-Goro reaches to touch the platform, but as he does, the Emissary bursts into a maddening laugh, and with a wave of his hand, the platform erupts into a shower of smoke, sparks, and cherry blossoms. Before your eyes, eight monks dressed in the robes of their sifu appear, standing in a circular formation atop the platform. With a calm grace, each one assumes a combat stance. Behind the wall of qinggong disciples, the Sifu again calmly seats himself. He closes his eyes, folds his legs, and sits in the lotus position, awaiting the victors.
This is it - the finale!

Can we get more details please. Is he saying anything? Is he attacking or just standing there? Is he the only enemy we are meant to interact with? Is there anything weird about the floor? Is he flying? :)
GM Ilmakis |
As explained by Shifty, there is a "wall" of Monk standing between you and the Emissary.
You will fight one monk at a time (as waves) until they are too tired to fight or not enough to stand between you and the emissary.
The monk stand on the plateform, ready to attack.
Ragnar "Handy" Sorvino |
"Well if he wants a fight who are we to argue?"
Send Hugsy in. (Double move)
Ragnar will take a 5ft step, activate his boots of speed, and test just how many arrows this monk can bat away.

I think the monk in the center of the platform is our target.
Lasaraleen PFS CORE Pregen |
I threw the monks on the map - not sure if wall was intended to be vertical or horizonal....the 'one at a time' throws me.
Lasaraleen will attempt to airwalk over the wall of monks to join her sister-at-arms by the emissary.
I am with you, Amina!
Sir Godfrey |
1 person marked this as a favorite. |
Las think of it as a grand melds between 110 pathfinders and an army of emissary clones. We can't get to or interact with the emissary. Just the one clone that has focused on us to mitigate the chaos of all the fights occurring. There is effectively one monk that matters and we need to beat it silly.
GM Ilmakis |
Only one arrows doesn't hit the monk, surprised by Ragnar's quickness then Amina almost hit with a deadly stroke but finally land only a powerful one.
The monk is hurt, but he still stand ready to defend his master against the Pathfinders.

@Lasaraleen do you provoke ?
Sir Godfrey |
Sir Godfrey grunts as his only sign of agony from the vicious fire lacing across his body. Despite the horrendous burns he took the remnants of the rays take on an angelic halo about his form for a moment as if he has been kissed by the glory of his goddess. "It's your folly to attack a chosen of the Dawnflower with flames!" Then he swings with his mighty blade, using Lasaraleen's distracting presence to improve his chance to strike a true blow. The monk's displacement is useful, but Godfrey seems to have an uncanny knack for swinging at hard to find opponents.
Full attacking. Swift action to lay on hands.
