The fellow looks practically unstoppable - but then Madames spell completes and he flops onto the floor.
Downstairs you can hear a banging on the door and lots of shouting, it sounds like the constabulary has arrived - the children screech in terror at the party "MURDERERS! MURDERERS! SAVE US!"
You think there are likely some people down below the window as you can hear them talking hurriedly.

"Quickly - bind and gag him! Let us bring him before the magistrate..." he says as he moves towards the man and prepares to touch him lightly on the shoulder.
Once the man is bound and in front of the sheriff, Cam will use his grave touch power to make him shaken.

The children shriek even louder as Camaenor is revealed to be the very stuff of nightmares - not only has he apparently slain the man who had come to rescue them - but now his evil continues on to tying up the dead body of their saviour...
Downstairs it sounds as though the door is being kicked in.

The Sherrif arrives at the room, sword drawn, with a couple of other constables - she looks fairly concerned and the children quickly finger Camaenor as being the guilty home invader "He attacked us!" and they point at the captured doppelganger "He was saving us!"
Things are quite tense, and one of the other constables comes back from the master bedroom looking ashen, and he just shakes his head.
"Well?" enquires the Sherrif.
Over to you on how you explain things...

Camaenor, being the one fingered by the kids but having some social tact, decides to try and explain what happened to the Sheriff and constables...
"Sheriff, you know us and what we were investigating. Our research led us to this building, and when we inside, we were ambushed by this man's henchmen - I'm sure you found them downstairs. I saw this man change his appearance, probably through magic of some sort, to look like me and duck into this room where he had children imprisoned. I don't know what his overall goals are, but it is clear he is trying to frame us to thwart our investigations."

I guess that attack hit Layla, not Ayla, 'cause Layla was adjacent to the man. So I'll transfer 5 HP from Ayla to Layla, to keep Layla with Ayla. (I admit the names are easy to mix up.)
While the front door's being kicked in Ayla takes a potion of cure light wounds from her backpack and pours it into Keelee's mouth.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9
She then casts lesser rejuvenate eidolon on Layla.

"That's correct," Ayla chimes in to aid Camaenor. "We were attacked the moment we entered the building. After this man had changed back to his own appearance he set the kids up against us. I say we wake him up and interrogate him."
Ayla looks at the kids, unsure if they should be around during the interrogation.
It would help if they'd hear him admit his lies...

After her sister's cured Keelee, Layla helps the brave swashbuckler back to her feet. "You okay?"

"I agree, sheriff. We should interrogate the man."
Layla then goes on to explain to the sheriff what led the party to the building.

Coming to after Ayla administers a potion, Keelee opens her eyes looking around as Layla helps her stand, "I take it we won? Thanks for the healing, I seem to be taking more than hits than I should."
Trying to stand steady, Adding her words to the others to the sheriff "Yes, the older man with a ponytail took on the appearance of Camaenor to make the children think we were the attackers. I don't know he is in his true appearance now or not."

The Sheriff hears you out and eventually starts to nod in agreement. "That's Borvius he runs Ilsurian Storage & Hauling, a cartage company that ships goods and stores cargo - something here seems very amiss"
The ashen deputy indicates for the Sheriff to follow, and you all move to the master bedroom.
An oversized bed rests in the middle of the room, and two wardrobes face each other on opposites of the room. This room macarbre scene, Braeton and his wife, Canalee, both slain.
Canalee’s body sits on the floor with her arm and face draped on the bed. Arhaneem reclines in a chair, with his eyes closed as if resting. Rapiers, wet with sticky blood, hang from their limp grasps—as if they had been fighting and finally succumbed to their wounds.
The Sheriff looks dismayed "If what you are saying is true, then something needs to be done. If Borvius has a criminal gang and not just a bunch of honest stevedores, then I can keep the events here quiet until morning so you can rest up, then catch the criminals unawares. I have a wand that might help you recover from your injuries. Go and deal with them, and I will arrange to discreetly release Almara Delisen from custody once you have commenced your raid"
"Deal?"

The sorcerer will take the wand, study it, and try it out on Keelee until she looks better, and then once on himself.

The party makes its way through the town to Ilsurian Storage and Hauling, and they find it to be a large warehouse - seemingly shut. A ten foot wide alleyway separates it from the nearest building - 'Robellas Curiosity Shop' to the west.
The outside of the building features two large double doors at the front - clearly for wagons and the like, and a general entrance. Around the eastern side is a smaller back door.

Did we go straight here? Is it dark? Cam used up his 1st level spells in the previous battle, so if we don't do the 8 hour rest thing, he will not have them...He has a few Grave Touch uses left, and his weapons.
"Back door?" he asks. He has the light crossbow loaded and ready.

Keelee agrees with the need to strike before they start to miss their leader, "Friend Camaenor, be sure to keep the cure light wand handy."
Keelee has 0 Panache, but can regain one for each confirm crit or killing blow.

Ayla raises a hand when Camaenor's healing everyone. "I could use some healing."

"Let's go in through the front doors?" Ayla asks as she steps up to the doors, looking back at her comrades.

Looking at the side door, "When we searched the bodies, before we left did anyone find a key?"
If there is no key or disable device then, we should check the cargo door. If that is locked then back to the front door.

Ayla and her sister move in place, after which Ayla gives Camaenor a nod. "Do it."

The interior of this large building appears unfinished, with a wooden frame that could have housed two separate floors but is instead open to the roof like a barn. Sliding bay doors stand to the south (where you have come in), where a serviceable wagon is parked. Across the centre of the warehouse, a catwalk hangs fifteen feet off the ground. Heavy items can be pulled up to the catwalk with ropes and a block and tackle. In the northeast and southwest corners, rooms have been framed in and walls erected. Shelving lines most of the walls, and crates and boxes are stacked in many places on the main floor.
You spot three men up on the catwalk, they spot you. Steel is drawn!

Ayla double moves up the ladder, places her longspear against the wall, and starts climbing up.
