"Any tracks? Of course, climbing things on the walls don't leave tracks," says Sindre, thinking about the spider.

Sovereign Court

Helm and Theadus do not notice anything unusual, but Aeloran notices that there is a trap on the other door in the room.

What now?

Grand Lodge

khorosho ...well done... comrrrrade Aeloran. parrrron me, themselves doorrrrs do not open,

Wulfgar, bowing to Aeloran steps past him and opens the door where he disabled the trap, once the door is open Wulfgar carefully looks around.

if not interupted, Wulfgar will take 20 on perception

Sovereign Court

The door easily bursts open under Wulfgar's ministrations.

Racks for weapons line the walls of this chamber; above the racks hang various shields, pieces of armor, weapons, and standards on display. Most of the racks are empty, but a few weapons remain in place. A horrible stench fills the room as well, akin to the smell of rotten eggs mixed with the reek of an open sewer.

Of more immediate concern, however, are the two small, lizard-like humanoids currently in the room, who appear rather displeased by the party bursting in like this!

Round 1: Wulfgar, Theadus, T, Sindre, Ebonfeather, Aeloran, Helm

Wulfgar and Theadus are up.

At the start of everyone's turn, I need two Fortitude saves (DC 11) to avoid being Sickened.

Also, the map has been updated.

Sickened:

Snapdragon Fireworks, Lvl2 using 1 instance of Irrisen Icemage. Lizard thingy needs a DC 16 Reflex save not to be dazzled, and a DC 15 Fort save not to be slowed, and takes 1d4 damage. I think it will take the damage and have to save not to be dazzled again next round if it's in the same place.

Wulfgar is overcome by the stench, and only manages a weak swing, which does not connect with his foe.

...however, despite a truly frenzied assault, one one blow manages to land, scoring a gash across Theadus' abdomen.

Sindre then strides into the room, and sets off a magical firework, which smacks into one of the lizard-like humanoids...

Reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11.

Fortitude: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11.

...leaving it reeling and sluggish.

Technically, if they are just at negative HP, they are dying, not dead, but it's the GM's call as to whether Helm killed that one, erm, child, dead.

Sovereign Court

Helm *did* crit for 23 points of damage. That takes it well beyond negative con, even from full hp (which it was not at).

Ebonfeather is sickened by the smell of the room, and staggers in behind Wulfgar.

Wulfgar then brings his greatsword around in a crushing blow, which drops the reptilian humanoid.

Combat over.

Now, this is a little unusual, but the room specifically calls out that you need APPRAISE, rather than Perception, to determine what is worth salvaging in this room - so give me some Appraise checks :-)

...a masterwork alchemical silver dagger, a masterwork light steel shield emblazoned with a leaping dolphin, and a banner depicting a bird made of living flame.

Knowledge(Local) DC 20:
The banner belongs to the Band of the Phoenix, one of Absalom’s most famous hunting lodges during the Age of Blades. The banner is worth 100gp but might be worth much more to a historian or collector.

Judging from the shelves lining the walls, this darkened room might once have been a storeroom, though its contents have long since succumbed to the passage of time. A crack in the northern wall has apparently let in some rainwater, which has collected in a large puddle on the floor.

In addition, there is a dog-sized lizard in the middle of the room, which looks up, obviously excited, when the door bursts open. Hopping up on its hind-legs, its starts to beg...

However, its excitement has some decidedly abnormal results, as crackling electricity begins to arc all over its body, occasionally earthing in the ground around it.
