Quickly dashing behind his squadmates, Kheferu started making gestures and chanting in Ancient Osiriani, but now words were more melodic and less menacing.
- You wanted to see a beautiful bird, Marcel? Take a look at the kin of Benu!
A glistening circle of symbols and hieroglyphics appeared behind the fiend as another winged creature materialized. This time, its feathers were stunningly white with a glint of gold and blue. Eagle's claws, however, were just as menacing and sharp. The bird screeched as its beak and talons started emitting a bright light, then slashed the fiend's back, shredding its hide like paper.

- Err... I'll never fully accept that. These little monkeys were evil. They were enemies. But they had more feelings than peoples worshipping their masters...
Borislav fetched a sigh and started packing his ammunition into backpack.
- But it was a good fight after all. Let's finish our job here... by the way - what exactly we need to do here?

After the monsters were defeated, there is more time for the adventurers to search the shrine in the temple. They find a small cabinet in the pedestal below the monkey statue, which holds a richly illuminated copy of the Vigrahin Patitraka (a Vudran holy text) and a handwritten journal belonging to a priest who accompanied Khiben-Sald on his travels around the Inner Sea. As well, they found that statue is wearing magical belt of intricate design.
Passing the main hall of the temple, Pathfinders noticed that something has changed: two statues of monkeys were kneeling as offering them gift: tiny longbows that ones were their enemy weapon, are offered as a gift. When collected anything and carefully documented the temple interior details, agents found that Asvika is still waiting them outside. Her loot bag and accomplices dissapeared, but she was still waiting for promices of reward and to hear more about Pathfinder Society.
After exploring the temple at their leisure, the adventurers make their way back to the camp of the expedition, where Baron Rudyahm and Count Falroun await to guide the expedition back to shore. Count was pretty cold since he discovered details that his father-in-law was in risk during the tiger hunt, but baron was glad to see agents returned.
The rest of the hunting expedition passes without incident, and the adventurers make their way back to Absalom without any difficulty. Though Ambrus Valsin is excited by the items recovered from the the lost temple, he is especially thrilled by the recovery of the journal of Khiben-Sald’s travels. He immediately refers the log to the Society’s Vudran historians for analysis, hoping to glean information about other lost sites the Maharaja may have built or visited during his travels.
And this is where, we call it an end. Thanks for playing!
