Sorry to call you out specifically but I don't know of any other way of getting in contact with other board members. In a thread recently you gave outlines for your take on the warlock. I was wondering you would be willing to share your class? I like the idea of swearing pacts with otherworldly beings for power. If you can let me know! Thanks a bunch!

Best way to leave a message is post in a thread someone is frequenting. You can see someone's posts by clicking on their name and bringing up their account and alternate identities and such.
I have major time sinks going on in real life right now, and the complexities of balance involved with these things is a head knocker. It's much easier to write a story about warlocks then it is to come up with hard mechanics.
My big thing for Warlocks is that they are a 'short class', basically magic-using wannabes. They aren't as good as a true spellslinging class, but they've got some unique gifts, and they are naturally different from normal spellcasters in that they 'never run out' of power.
Making a 'pure' class out of them would thus be somewhat harder. I'd have to take a look at mechanics and balance. It would have to be an ongoing project.
:P Perhaps you could show me out to spin some extra time out of me arse and I could get something spun up for you. Be happy to enter a mechanics core and start working things out with you.
This was my original intention: Warlock is a 'side' class you take alongside your own, kind of a true gestalt or multi class.
Warlock has no BAB and no caster level. CL for warlock powers is based purely upon your Eldritch Blast.
The Warlock has no 'fire and forget' primary power, i.e. powers that endure multiple rounds without concentration, which should be a real limit on utility.
