PaizoCon is in Seattle and I finally have character sheets!

Is that the scorpion whip? Hmm, could work! The character also uses magic, mostly flame balls, perhaps something magus-like or even an inquisitor since that series of games has a lot of occult religious and gothic lore.

Actually she's inspired by the game Fran Bow except the names are changed a little and my Fran is an adult instead of a child, hehe. I hadn't even thought about a possible Castlevania connection but that actually would be a cool concept to recreate!

My other 'expy' Katarina is based on the main character from the game Phantom Brave except also with the names changed a bit and also an adult instead of a child.

Also, my F2F group is about to head out to see the new Guardians of the Galaxy and then eat afterwards so it'll be a few hours yet before I'll be able to catch up with the game. Please bot Corona if needed!

Okay team, as I'd mentioned, I'll be traveling to Jamaica on Friday, returning on the 19th. We're staying at a resort so I don't expect wifi quality to be very good. I'd like to pause for a week while I'm gone and then pick up from where we left off once I get back, perhaps with a quick recap.

Be sure to drink too much, and get too much sun while you're gone. Both things I've heard Canadians are good at while down south :) Enjoy the heat. We froze our asses off in the boat today with drizzle and 7 degrees. The lake was warmer at 9... And no fish :(

Have a wonderful trip, Red! The hiatus will be good timing for me. I am finishing up two of my campaigns, writing chronicle sheets, etc, and then diving into preparing to oversee Cosmic Captive. This will give me some time to get more done on both my PbP Guides project and on Cosmic Captive!

Thanks everyone. I'm very thankful for the opportunity to take a break. The past few months at work have been a lot busier than usual, but I've been promised a promotion when I return, so it was all worth it. :)

It's already added on each slide. Or did you mean a second photo?

You can drag the image from a folder right into the slide, or open it in paint, select it, copy, and paste it.

What is our initiative for Round 1 again?

I played it fast and loose for this haunt. There isn't really need to track initiative since it's just the PCs acting all together before the haunt acts.

Okay, let me get this encounter back on rails.

Mechanically, the haunt infests the entire room. You can toss a vial of holy water or use a haunt siphon from wherever, as long as you're inside the room. You don't need to necessarily wait until it shows you a physical manifestation since you're now aware that it exists, and that it's a haunt.

Ya haunts are, at least to me, such a new thing in dnd. Most people don't really know how to deal with them. I know I don't too well. All I know is positive energy is bad for haunts!
