Well, I think if it's going to be at least another few days, it might make sense to bring a different PC along if you have the time to create one.
I can continue waiting but I'm leaving on vacation for a week on May 12th, so either we start pretty soon and get the scenario off the ground, or wait until I get back on the 20th.

Yeah, what Corona said. If it's just another day to wait for Elena, that is fine. Sorry if I'm coming off as impatient, I'm just excited to start a game with some of my favorite players.
If you haven't played in a game that I've run before, a few things:
- My writing can sometimes be ridiculous, to put it lightly. Not everyone likes this. I hope you will! I don't usually take my NPCs too seriously unless the scenario writers specifically mention that the NPC is the serious type.
- I usually post twice a day during the week, typically between 9 and 3 PM EST and then again after 5 PM. If my work days are slow, I post more.
- Weekends are hit and miss. Some weekends I'm in front of my computer most of the time, others, I'm not home at all. I'll let you know if I'm going to be away.
- Please add your initiative to the first slide here, and add your token if it's not already there.
- Like most PbP GMs, I run combat in block initiative because it flows so much faster than waiting for one person to act at a time.
- Let me know if I'm updating too frequently and I'll put some ice on it!

I'll play Tanna for this game. (Although, Elena is a bit more silly, yelling things like and going on about how the party needs to vanquish evil - while a worshiper of Asmodeus is in her party and keeps accidentally healing Elena.)
I post about twice a day. Around lunch and again in the evenings when I get off work.

I'm generally good with lighthearted and silly games; enough of my non-PFS games have serious characters/settings/moments that I get my fix for darker fare elsewhere :)
My posting...is kinda all over the place though I almost always at least manage 1/day for all of my games. If I'm not at work and don't have anything else going on on a given day then you'll likely see me post more. Unfortunately my job is such that I can't post from work if I'm working day shift so it's not uncommon for 10+ hour gaps between my posts at times.
Oh and Red, how do you want me to handle Corona's Misfortune ability? I've been kinda lax on using it much since it's harder to finagle in PbP format but since she's got it I really need to make use of it where I can...

Good point... The problem is that it's before the result is revealed RAW. If a monster is rolling multiple d20s, I'd have to tell you beforehand so you'd be able to choose which one, yet I'd have to hide the actual results.
It sounds messy and I think spoilering dice rolls complicates things since I'd have to specifically add separate text saying 'I rolled 2 d20s, one for an attack, and one for a save'... So let's stick with the honor system. Just tell me when you'd like the monster or NPC or ally to reroll, preferably prior to them rolling but even after is fine. I think this guy had the right attitude about it.

I have an issue that I just discovered. Thank goodness I found it now.
I'd selected an illegal phantom; I had no idea that Lust wasn't legal! (This surprises me considering some of the options that are legal... But never mind.)
Any way, I imagined Boo as a well-meaning hedonist lust phantom with a tendency towards kindness. Instead, for story purposes, I am going to go now with her being a kindness phantom with a tendency towards hedonism.

You know, I'd even read a thread in the General Discussion for PFS awhile back asking why the Lust phantom wasn't legal and it never even clicked with me when you mentioned wanting Cadence to have a Lust phantom. I'm glad you found out early one and were able to select something else that appealed (and fits the character)!

I just finished a series of scenarios with my cleric that had been running since the Gameday last fall; she's now 5th level and currently my highest-level PFS PC. Not sure if I want to keep playing her (should a good scenario pop up) or if I should take a break from her for a little bit.
*edit* Also sorry for not posting yesterday, had a long day at work and wasn't in a focused mindset to write once I got home.

Since we're talking about PCs and I've got too much time on my hands today, I'll go ahead and take stock. Corona, I'd keep playing that PC if I were you, especially if you've never tried higher tiers before. I haven't played anything above level 5 and I look forward to getting some of my PCs up there!

True...I'll keep my eye out for good scenarios suiting a 5th level cleric then! I've been trying to focus on leveling some of my PCs up a bit but it's hard when I keep getting ideas that I want to try! So far I've got:

All of them but Layla, Lucina, and Martine have at least one scenario under their belts or are in the process of getting their first scenario. Corona at 2nd level is my highest level PC after Nella :P

Well, like I said sometimes random inspiration hits me to make a character so I usually roll with it! A couple (Katarina, Fran) are kinda-sorta 'expys' of characters from video games, one (Nimerah) is a recreation of my very first ever character from AD&D 2Ed, and most are original creations. It's a mixture of wanting to try different classes as well as genuinely coming up with different concepts for characters. Plus it means I'll hopefully have a large variety to pull from when filling a group :)
But I can definitely understand how some folks would rather have a smaller cast of PCs that they focus more intensely on as well! Either option is valid :)

I'm checking around for a nice Venture Captain that I can rope into sitting on her table. I could potentially also grab Jesse Davis or Keith Apperson, depending on when they arrive, but I thought I'd ask you if you might also be interested in playing with us.

Hey Corona, is Fran Belmont Castlevania inspired?
A Simon Belmont PC would be fun but his whip would have to deal lethal damage somehow. Or... Alucard with the dhampir boon, one-handed weapons, and shapeshifting. I guess the closest thing would be a druid, but he's no tree hugger, perhaps a shifter once that class releases.
