My posting will be limited for the next ten days or so. I have friends coming to stay from out of town, a busy work week coming up - and then PaizoCon! Will post as I'm able, maybe I'll see some of you in Seattle.

I'm also delighted that we could resolve that encounter without shedding blood, so no regret there.
Auric has been updated, and I need to bring two things to your attention, GM Skipper:
1) Auric's initiative modifier is now +6
2) He has just gained the Trap Spotter rogue talent, which means that the GM should roll a hidden Perception check to detect traps when Auric is 10 feet away from a trap (Perception modifier is +16, +18 with heroism cast). While exploring, Auric will always walk first to try to take advantage of this as much as he can, and hopefully detect those traps before they can harm the team.

I commented on this at the start of the first part but does the scenario take into account the fact that if he so desired Sparky could pass around Remove Disease extracts for a few weeks and cure the whole town? No holy symbols, No divine magic, Just avoid getting reinfected until the city is cured.
Updates. Sparky replaced his oil of Daylight, Bought the Ioun stone that grants a +1 morale bonus to saves, added Remove Disease to his extract book, picked up Extra Discovery Fast Bombs, and his bombs deal 5 dice of damage now.

Lysaer is now level 8 so some changes:
He is now wearing adamntine Hellknight Plate armour so his AC will go up.
Will get him uodated sharpish.

One of the reasons it was specifically Agosa who needed to be smuggled in, was not only that he'd make a fine addition to the Pathfinder team already on site, but also that he is an expert in curing maladies by both mundane and divine means. The locals are happy for help they can get, so they'll disregard his religious affiliation, and Sparky can have assisted him before leaving for Manaket. What good it'll do is yet to be seen, for something is rotten in the state of Wadi al-Hesr... *foreshadowing*

Unsurprisingly most of the extracts Sparky handed out last time went unused. No doubt the same will be true this time. But he'll have a stock list each day and if you want one of the extracts just ask.
Feel free to make requests. My book looks like this.
1st 6/day Crafter's Fortune, Comprehend Languages, Shield, True Strike, Ant Haul, Expeditious Retreat, Endure Elements, Heightened Awareness, Enlarge Person, Longarm*, Negate Aroma
2nd 6/day Barkskin, Alchemical Allocation, See Invisibility, Ablative Barrier, Invisibility
3rd 4/day Heroism, Channel Vigor, Remove Disease
And this is what I plan to take barring requests.
1sr Comprehend Languages, Shield x3, Enlarge Person, Longarm
2nd Barkskin x3 (+4 nat armor), See Invisibility, Alchemical Allocation x2
3rd Heroism x3, Remove Disease
And I'm going to assume Sparky is holding any extracts that doesn't get asked for.

![]() |

I'll take a Barkskin as I don't have a nat armour bonus ^^

@Auric: Only a suggestion but Sparky just casted haste on us. It'd probably be better if you kept the spell for future needs

Currently encountering a great deal of problems posting. It's actually very strange as my PC isn't able to connect to paizo's site through my home connection and neither is my phone using the same connection. I can access the site perfectly through phone but only it I disable its connection tomy home's Wi-Fi. Everything else works fine so I suspect this to be an issue with the site and my IP but I can access my account just fine if I use my phone without my home's internet connection. I got no warnings of bans or anything else so I'm wondering about what's happening. Can't really keep up posting unless this situation is solved

![]() |

The site's been down for me since I got up six hours ago, so I don't think it's limited to you, Rogar. Though I suppose it's possible you somehow broke it for all of us. ;)

![]() |

Yeah, it has been poor for me for a while now, mostly during the Day here in the UK, which means i can't post till like 10-11pm (its 11 here now)

![]() |

Hopefully we didn't completely break things. Most parties have at least one person with see invisibility by this point so fighting him early is probably common.

![]() |

Sparky is antisocial and figures as long as the gods leave him alone he'll leave them alone. But as a Pathfinder and a prominent member of The Exchange he has many reason for supporting his allies. The fact that the allies in this case are a bunch of holy rollers in the land of the godless is one of life's little ironies. But actually his statement was a reminder of why we were down here.

![]() |

Sparky: I have no issue at all how you portray your character. I do not like people that use "this is what my character would do" as an excuse you are not doing that. I just wanted to make it clear that my character was reacting to your character and that that has nothing to do with how I perceive you. Game on!

![]() |

I'm really sorry that I haven't been able to post in a decent manner. I'm swamped with work among other things, and I find myself unable to fulfill my commitment to this game. I think it would be better if I dropped from the game altogether so that you don't wait for me all the time. GM Skipper, thank you for your continued patience towards me.

I will likely be unable to post for most of next week. I had planned to go camping with my family at a place I know there is cell signal, but the road to that spot is washed out. We're going to a different place where I understand there is no cell reception, so I will likely be unable to post June 19-22. My apologies, please bot me as necessary.

![]() |

And a replacement for me. I played part 3 with a different character.
Would Obo be considered a merchant, smuggler, trader, etc...?

![]() |

There are venture captains that do other things as well.
Are we in/near a city with a population of 5,000 or more?

![]() |

Acquire a merchant’s license in a city with a population of 5,000 or more other than Absalom. Doing so requires spending
25 gp per character level and succeeding on an Appraise or Profession (merchant) check with a DC equal to 15 plus your
character level. If you exceed the DC of the check by 10 or more, you instead receive the license for free. Whenever you
are in that city, you may purchase all mundane items at a 10% discount (maximum 15% discount).
Profession Merchant DC 24: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27
I'll mark the 225 gp as gold spent.

Thanks GM Skipper and everyone else!
With this game Rogar gets to EXP 18 and fame 33 which means he gets to level 7. Not only that but by applying 2 chronicle sheets for previous games (7-98 Serpent's Ire and 4-17 Tower of the Ironwood Watch played with a pregen) he gets to be able to buy Gloves of Duelling!
I'll update his CS shortly!

Player's Name: Rogar Valertis
Character's Name: Rogar Valertis Alastoris
PFS Identity Card #: 100733-1
Faction: Sovereign Court
Progression: Normal
Dayjob Roll:Profession (soldier): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (8) + 9 = 17
Notes: Rogar is now lvl 7. He will buy gloves of duelling for 15.000 gp and a single flask of oil of bless weapon for 50 gp. The character's sheet is completely updated.
For feat Rogar got Item Mastery (ability Mastery) which means at the beginning of each day he will perform a brief ritual and gain +2 enanchement bonus to his constitution (change reflected in his stats).
He's also taken Advanced Armor Training (Armored Juggernaut) so he gets DR2/- when wearing heavy armor.

Chronicle looks good, I'm working on leveling now, adding a level of cleric. Zinkyudo hits level 8, will be upgrading my Headband of Inspired Wisdom to +4, as well as adding his level 8 stat boost to Wisdom. Since he's a zen archer and a cleric, this boosts AC, attacks, spells known, spell DCs, and so on. Kind of a fun combo! Hope to get my alias updated today, but might not quite get there.
As to replacement players (though it will be tough to truly replace Sparky!): I can go either way, looking to find a couple more who want to play just the third part of the trilogy, or we can go with four.

![]() |

I vote for recruiting 2 new players, high level games are still relatively difficult to find, I'm sure there's a few peopel out there who would love to join us.

Did you still need someone for this scenario?
I think so but the GM has the final word on this naturally.

GM Qwerty |

I can fill in if need be... I just dont want to play with a mustached mutating crossbowman, nor a froggy shaman, nor a tiefling paladin who beats up on nice female elves in a Razmiran temple, nor a toffy Taldan noble swordsman, nor a dervish dancing flame speaker... but other than that I can fill in if need be. Already played the first two in the series.

GM Skipper |

Did you still need someone for this scenario?
Indeed I do! There party currently consists of:
Lysaer Nymmis, Half-elf Fighter 2/ Inquisitor 4/ Hellknight 2
Rogar Valertis Alastoris, Human Fighter 7
Zinkyudo, Aasimar Cleric 3/Monk 4
Deaglan, Dwarf Fighter 1/Cleric 8
Whether or not the two empty spots'll get filled, I'll start part 3 on Monday.

Personally I have a soft spot for mustached crossbowmen with a penchant for alchemical concoctions... :P

Many Apologies, work has been hectic lately with some personal life events. I will post tomorrow.
