So: What was the particular rubric that sent Grimgrin Sihir's way, and what was the effect of the other Will save you had us make?

Also, would you say I've qualified for the following Scarab Sages Objective?:

"Become possessed by a creature using magic jar, the malevolence ability, or a similar effect. Alternatively, permanently destroy a haunt."

Sadly, it was not a possession type effect, merely a curse that forced you to take and preserve the hat. There is a malevolent spirit involved, but beyond that particular effect, it did not control you.

The first save was against the vapors, which served to lower your save against the all compulsion effects for the remainder of the scenario. Then the second was a sort of "illusion + mass dominate" type effect: everyone who failed (which was everyone but Fek) saw the image; among those, whoever had the lowest Will save modifier was the lucky winner of the "I should go turn over that rock and pick up what I find" command.
