Ace wipes the sweat from his brow, before adjusting the tuning pegs on his guitar. Remind me never to come back here Atum.

Ace starts into a slow jam, but his song seems forced and strange as his chords sounds slightly off to each listener. Eviolynn and Nikolai feel the off-key chords causing them to cringe and lose focus slightly.

Ace sees Nikolai wince as the music takes hold and launches focuses the lilting, off-key tune at him.

Ace doesn't have a weapon in hand to threaten with, he's currently playing the guitar.

Darius moves, leaving a multi-hued cascade of images behind him. Three slashes are aimed at the Venture-Captain, though they aim to kill and not to subdue this time. Only one connects, but it is a perfect blow that Nikolai doesn't see coming. The rest of the attacks fail, the Venture-Captain's armor remaining unpenetrable.

Suddenly a thin purple mist erupts from the thick hot air of the jungle, making the heads of those caught inside dizzy. However, it doesn't block vision.
All those in the mist (Osric, Darius, Atum, Arnthoth and Grimtooth) need to make a Will saving throw. This is a mind-affecting effect.

Darius is right about threatening with a cestus. Atum has one in each hand although some GMs rule that you don't threaten with them if your hands are busy using a two-handed weapon (or playing a guitar). To avoid that controversy I just took Improved Unarmed Strike so Atum can kick people who try to run around him.

Atum: 1d20 + 6 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 6 + 3 = 20

Atum suddenly grows in stature, his skin once again taking on the gray appearance of stone. He aims to break Nikolai's armor this time.

Cairo, your circle doesn't seem to affect Nikolai.

Grimtooth, Arnthoth, Osric and Atum - your mind is dizzy from the wispy fumes of the mind fog spell. You take a -10 penalty on your Wisdom checks and Will saves as long as you are in the fog and 2d6 ⇒ (6, 4) = 10 rounds after leaving it.

Atum's earth-shattering blow breaks the Venture-Captain's mithral full plate almost completely, leaving only a few plates of metal to protect its wearer. A well-invested reroll I believe! Nikolai's armor is now broken, thus halving its AC value.

Cairo summons a lantern archon, but the deft half-elf is able to dodge the rays of light.

Osric's arrows all hit their mark, thanks to Atum's heroic sundering of Nikolai's armor!

Grimtooth picks up a scent and follows the trail, then stops, sniffing the earth in front of it. It can make an attack against the invisible Pathfinder, with 50% miss chance.
