There not demons but daemons ! You need silver or good to bypass their resistances and there are too many things there immune to ! Said Hedra.

Gamin is broken but in Silver if you wish ! she added before casting one of her most powerful spell on her, Oswin and Rikas

May Aroden Bless you with his Fervor ! Blessing of Fervor

Eye, I need you ! Look around to find the Riftwarden, free them if you can.

AC 25 T 15 FF 22 | HP 33/33| F +5 R +5 W +5 | Init +3, Perc +12 |

Eye at Hedra's order began floating through the tunnel searching for prisoners.

Grand Lodge

Sophini disappears, teleporting away. Before doing so, she orders the daemons. "Kill them all - including the Riftwarden - and bring me their heads." Jahani remains behind.

Hedra's tentacles appear to have no effect on the large daemons, and the xill is free at last from the blackened tentacles. Luckily, the tentacles manage to break the neck of the last hound, which falls to the ground, lifeless.

Sure Oswin, no worries about BoF since it seemed the logical choice. Next time please call your bonus if you want to have one. I'm curious about your first post for the round, though. Did you cast anything or is it purely for flavor? I'm assuming the second one, since you stated your action after that. If you were using your Holy Lance (su) ability, please note that it's a standard action to do so.

Oswin swings thrice, but only the last strike manages to pierce the daemon's thick skin. Assuming you attacked purple? Waiting for confirmation on the holy lance and target before taking damage into account.

Hedra's tentacles reach for the two only daemons nearby, but fail to ensnare them.

Any action for your familiar, Hedra?

Well, carp in a hat! I forgot about that. Too used to my inquisitor who can do bane and judgement as swift and free actions, respectively. But right you are. Still, after getting roasted half to death, Oswin would try to fight back. Should've spent my time buffing not blasting. And low rolls just now were really NOT called for...

As the flames wash over Oswin, an eerie sort of calm comes over him as he clutches his holy symbol.

He says no prayer, nor offers comment, but lays into his foes despite his charred skin.

So no Holy Lance. Costs 11 damage. But I did upgrade the sword to +3 prior to setting out, so hopefully I can at least beat DR. Full attack followed by a 5' step back.

It does beat the silver or good DR, Oswin.

Oswin strikes with righteous fury, wounding the daemon. However, The beast's skin is too thick for Rickas to penetrate.

The daemons appear to revel in that moment, playing around with you like a cat with a mouse, knowing what the eventual issue will be, and that apparently nothing can prevent it.

The three beasts next to Rickas and Oswin unleash their full might upon the two unfortunate souls.
Against Oswin
Bite, PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 171d8 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
Claw, PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 161d4 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Claw, PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 151d4 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
Luckily, the Iomedaean's armor deflects all the blows!

Against Rickas
Bite, PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 231d8 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Claw, PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 241d4 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Claw, PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 171d4 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
Rickas does an amazing job of dodging almost all the incoming attacks nimbly, but is unable to prevent one claw to graze his arm. 10 damage, I think.

The beast behind Hedra bites the Arodenite priest before clawing it twice in a maelstrom of violence and pain.
Bite, PA: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (11) + 10 = 212d6 + 12 ⇒ (5, 4) + 12 = 21
Claw, PA: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 301d6 + 12 ⇒ (5) + 12 = 17
Claw, PA: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (5) + 10 = 151d6 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
Confirmation: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 271d6 + 12 ⇒ (1) + 12 = 13
A mighty roar echoes through the halls of stone as the beast strikes Hedra twice. The daemon first rips the flesh of the Arodenite's back with its fearsome fangs, then claws his way inside his prey's chest, leaving her unconscious and bloody on the ground. 51 damage leaves Hedra at -3, if I'm not mistaken.

As for the Xill, it steps aside and whirls his blades around Oswin, lashing at him fiercely.
Short Sword: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 271d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Short Sword: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (17) + 13 = 301d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Short Sword: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 141d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Claw: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 281d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4 Grab: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (17) + 16 = 33
Bite: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 171d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

As if it had heard something, the lastly-arrived daemon teleports at the crossroads where you came from, a vicious look in its eyes. It wants its own prey, but is frustrated as it finds none so far.

Looking at the surrounding demons, Rikas decides to put on a burst of speed from the Blessing of Fervor and try to nimbly work his way through the hulking demon's legs.

Tumble: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32 vs CMD+5 on purple one to tumble through him.

If he makes it through, he stabs at the beast from behind while flanking with Oswin (hopefully he still has a weapon in hand...)!

Ardisen considers using his remaining scroll to escape, but for the time being elects to remain with his allies.

The enchanter cautious ducks around the melee surrounding him. Desperately hopeful he'll avoid being hit.

Full Defense. Which with mage armor and shield makes my AC 23.

Sorry, in my haste to post before leaving for the weekend I failed to mention your scorching ray didn't hit - they have a bit more than 10 touch AC.

As Ardisen shifts to a more defensive stance, Hedra prays the Dead God for her companions' salvation. Surprisingly, the prayer is answered! It guides Oswin's arm and allows him to wound the massive beastlike daemon once. His second swing is deflected by the anathema's tough hide, though. Rikas barely manages to tumble under the monster's legs and strike from its back, but again, the beast's hide is too thick.

Stepping backward, Orik finally gets to stand toe-to-toe with an enemy, and while Oswin's adamantine blade isn't exactly a war-axe, it might still work against the creatures.

I seem to recall that a +3 weapon bypasses some types of DR, silver or cold iron? Is that correct?

Grand Lodge

That is correct, as long as it's the "sheer" bonus of the weapon (abilities don't count for that).

Orik slashes, but unfortunately he isn't used to that blade and misses by a few inches.

The northern daemon assaults Ardisen with all its might! Thankfully, Ardisen's defensive stance allows him to avoid all the blows save for one.
Bite, PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 151d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

Claw, PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 211d4 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9

The unwounded daemon takes two steps towards Hedra before trying to bite her head off, but proves far too cocky and not realistic enough.
Bite, PA: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 141d8 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

The daemon to the east, despite his being flanked, proves the strongest of them all, and channels his fury into each of the deadly blows he rains upon Oswin.

Oswin gasps as he is struck by the first blow.

The divime favor flees from him, but he redoubles his efforts against the demon.

Keeping +2 AC, attacks, etc. Rikas and Orik may want that 2nd attack though. I cast divine favor two roumds before init, so it wears off. Will Power Attack and hope for best.

Ardisen grips the wound and stifles a scream as the creature rips into his skin. Desperate to buy his allies a few more seconds to fell one of the creatures the enchanter continues to weave around the combat and duck any further attacks.

"Someone get this thing off me. I can't take much more of this..."

Full Defense again.
