            Yep, was just waiting to see which way Vyk was gonna go with it.
"ఫెయిత్ షీల్డ్," Tuich mutters quietly with a subtle hand motion before striding forward to stand nearer to, but far to one side of, Vyk. Casting Shield of Faith on herself, +2 deflection bonus to AC for one minute. Stats updated.
"Oh now, let's not be naughty. Back it down, boys. We can overlook this if you just walk away."
She grasps the innocent-looking scarf more tightly as a strong wind, unfelt by Vyk, suddenly buffets her. "Not now, Tooley," she hisses. "I know what I'm doing. Trust me."
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
For the record, I don't expect to be able to defuse the situation.

            Vyk might as well go full defense as a standard and make it a +4. Pretty much doing the same for Khismia for readying the shield.
Two of the thugs charge at Vyk swinging their saps. As they rush forward their outlines blur making slightly harder to pinpoint exactly where they are. 20% miss chance on attacks against them.
Melee vs Vyk: 1d20 + 6 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 6 - 2 + 2 = 10
Melee vs Vyk: 1d20 + 6 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 6 - 2 + 2 = 23
Vyk easily dodges the first strike, but feels the wind across his cheek as he moves to avoid the second.
The third man charges Tuich attempting to strike her with his sap.

The attack is stopped by Tuich's magical protection.
