i am traveling a bit over this weekend, so if I miss a turn, please bot me. Vasily plans to use his crossbow the rest of this fight unless circumstances change, working on the higher elevation foes first.

Should be back in the saddle normally on Monday. I may be able to post over the weekend, but don't let me hold things up.

I'll be on vacation starting from tomorrow til 17 Jun. Will be bringing my laptop along though, and will still try to keep up with posting but I would likely slow down.

I am also going to be without internet for the next 24-48 hours. I'll do my best to stay up to date, but my next round of posts may not be until Sunday night.

GM: I actually shorted myself some "to hit" bonus on those AoO earlier (which obviously didn't make a difference). However, I didn't want you to question why I used different numbers in this set of AoO.

You're welcomed! Sorry that we slowed down a bit due to my vacation and some matters at work. And hmm, this game was more deadly when I played it but it was at low-tier, so I guess it didn't scale well for higher tier. But still hope you still had fun. There were some interesting mechanics, like grabbing the chained up men before they fell of the cliff (and if they had, it would have entailed a rescue mission in the sea!), getting swamped by grain, jumping around on giant organ keys, etc.

The chronicle sheets can be found here. I'll also leave a link at the top of the page. Let me know if there's anything wrong with them.

I've also reported the game. Vasily, not sure if there's a problem with yours. Unlike the rest, your name didn't automatically populate when I keyed in the PFS number. Let me know I need to do something special on my side.

Looks like a typo on my PFS Number. Should be 75247-7 and my Chron sheet says 72547 instead. Wonder if you entered it wrong on the site as well?

I can manually correct the Chronicle sheet if you don't want to hassle with a new one, but you might see if you can edit the report still.

Thanks! I enjoyed this scenario (its been on my list for a while!) and really enjoyed the group.

If I remember right, the earlier season were built for 4 players, so that might also account for a little bit of the difficulty. As the tall, running, archery target I personally felt the mission was pretty deadly!

Harry, can you post the spells in your spellbook somewhere and give me a link so I know what you’ve got? Garduk’s is available in Google Sheets - link is at the bottom of his profile. We’ll need to ask GM kuey to certify our spellcraft rolls on the chronicle sheets and we will need to show the scribing costs as GP spent.

Edit: Harry, do you mean that the only spells in your spellbook are the ones you have prepared? Sorry, I’m a little slow before coffee. I think you're going to be happy with what's available in Garduk's.

Kuey, I'm sorry to ask you to make another edit to my chronicle. I’m going to scribe Feather Fall and Shocking Grasp, please note on my chronicle that I succeeded at the Spellcraft check to scribe two level 1 spells into Garduk's spellbook (with a 20gp total cost):

Spellcraft vs DC 16, FF, take 10: 10 + 11 = 21
Spellcraft vs DC 16, SG, take 10: 10 + 11 = 21

Yup! I've never done a prepared spell caster before, so I'll admit to not 100 percent understanding the process. But assuming I take 10, I can copy a spell from your book and spend the gold cost that you mention in the "Gold to scribe" column right? Also didn't realize I needed to have that put on the chronicle sheet, that's pretty important thing to need to know!

Harry would like to scribe the following spells-

Alarm, Anticipate Peril, Burning Hands, Magic Missile, Snowball, True Strike, for gold total of 70.

I would also like the second level spells of Cat's Grace, Scorching Ray, See Invisibility, Invisibility and Mirror Image for 200 Gold.

Sorry again to be a pain! Also, I'm totally gonna copy your layout for the spellbook Garduk, it really helped me understand what's going on!

No problem at all, and feel free to copy the format for the spellbook! The DC for scribing is 15+spell level, so you should be fine taking 10, and you’ve got the costs right for borrowing a PC’s spellbook or copying from a spellbook found during the scenario. Renting one adds 50% to the cost (but can definitely be worth it).

Clearly my fault. Thanks for correcting! And for a great game. I ran this way back in one of my first GM tables (on 80 now), and had forgotten how fun it was.
