Dismissing the thoughts, Thistle wonders how he might get to Jelani and others, should he need to. A spell comes to his mind, and he pulls the divine power into himself. The air around him feels both weightless, and solid as his prayer finishes.

Thistle's heart leaps up into his throat as he sees Caranthir take a wicked beating from the creatures. He hardly registers Jelani in a violent rage, clubbing the wicked beasts over and over, though the parts he does register show that he too, has been brutalized by the spiney devils. Suddenly worried that this is getting out of control, Thistle does the first thing that comes to his mind, blanketing everyone around him with divine healing. That precious light somehow is shielded from the enemy, however.

Thistle bustles about, taking wands and using a bit of his own magic, making sure that everyone's wounds are sealed. This, gratefully, takes enough time that the battle frenzy dies down, and each has a moment to gather themselves.

Casting freedom of movement on Caranthir and Jelani, as well as myself. Lasts for almost 2 hours. I also have Archon's Aura present. Then I will cast communal protection from evil, which will last for 2 minutes per person. Will probably have to recast that after the next fight. I will leave it at that for buffs for now, unless someone wants something specifically.

The west room is a clutter of alchemical devices, weird tools, urns of bubbling liquid, and shuddering clots of flesh. Three pedestals to the south support small mounds of glowing green crystals.
The shelves to the side contain a number of very similar crystals like the ones on the pedestals, and they look not unlike spire transport tokens.

Thistle flips the specialized spire transport token across his knuckles. Hefting his shield, he moves forward with his companions, ready to see where the roots of this strange and wondrous thing takes them.
