I do have a fly potion on hand, and boots of the cat. My handle animal is not so hot.

Fly spell would be enough, assuming your booking it, but just barely and may need an additional cast and may run out at a inopportune time once your up there. Just something to keep in mind. Not trying to force one way or another, just leaving up options.

Well, Bauble could cast an extended Fly twice by using some Arcane Reservoir and a rod of extend, then the spell would last 20 minutes. If the spell is cast on someone with a high strength each spell could do double duty as long as the load stays under a medium load. I had thought the flight would take an hour or something, but if it is only 10 minutes we should be good. Anyone else have a rod of extend?

Flying up with a fly spell would be 60'/round via double movement. That translates into 6000 feet in 10 minutes. Extended fly will last 20 minutes.

Unless encumbered, which Hammerhand is since he is wearing mithril plate which is still counted as medium armor. Then it is 40'/round. Of course he might get bonuses from something since I see his normal movement is 30 which is very unusual for a dwarf. He could take it off for the flight though.

blue roc: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18

The blue giant growls in pain as the holy light blasts him, though the roc seems unperturbed, though it's pupils are a bit closed now.

Mr. P makes short work of the red giant, skewering him on his lance, though the roc seems more concerned with figuring out what exactly is in his grasp.

As Clandelve and Bates run forward, the giant takes a swipe with his halberd...

Halberd: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15
damage: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (5, 4) + 10 = 19

but wiffs completely.

He tries again with more vigor at Clandelve...

damage: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (6, 1) + 10 = 17

Halberd: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28
damage: 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (3, 7) + 10 = 20

and continues to just fail at life.

The rock however, seems to like the eel like... thing... in it's grasp, though it is annoyed by the nips, and decides to bite into it. Roughly.

Viciously ripping into the thing in it's claws.

Lucjia continues to languidly fall. 60 feet down

Naghamadi 'runs' 80 feet upward, to somewhere relatively out of reach of the giants and their mounts; with a Fly modifier of +20, he can make any check necessary for the basic maneuvers.

Since Bauble is invisible, I'm not sure he needs the spell or that you can find him. You might try calm animal on the Roc with no giant on it.

As bauble screeches with happiness with his newfound freedom, the roc plucks him out of the air again, holding him tight. CMD is 37...

But vermin in his air elemental form reaches out and touches him, letting him slip free.

But before the roc can attack his fleeing prey, it's struck like a comment by Mr. P, and after a flurry of claws and lance and feathers, the roc begins to plummet to the ground, dead.

Bates and Clandelve increase their attack against the blue rock, and a lucky shot from Clandelve is just enough to send the great beast tumbling... it's rider screaming from it's back as it falls to it's death.

Though the pathfinders are free from the battle, the tingling of lightning begins again...

With the lightning however, the clouds light up, revealing a gigantic mass above the team about 1000 feet higher.

Still in rounds because of the lightning, and other things. But all pathfinders are up.

So does everyone have a way to fly that will last to get us to the mass? As noted before, Griff can carry one passenger (besides Mr. P as his rider). Double moving he can move 80' a round, but you ascend at half speed, so that's 40' up per round, so it will take 25 rounds for them to reach the mass. That could be a light of lightning strikes. Might be worth using haste to get us there faster?

Mr. P and Griff (and a passenger if needed) begin flying upwards toward the mass.
