Its an illusion! He's not here! Saldoc waves his weapons thru the illusion of the man in an attempt to prove his point.
"Try near the bottom of the steps. I think it sounded like his voice came from there." He mutters, "if only they had given me a good bloodhound instead of a goat."
Torrential will cast Shillelagh and move into the spot where he thinks the voice came from. If he's right, he will not make it!
I moved his icon on top of the space. If prevented, please move him back east a space

Remember, you can only disbelieve the illusion if you interact with the yellow-outlined image atop the stairs. You'll have to beat a Will Save DC 13 save to do so.
Gratius:
Dalsine's on top of the stairs, but you heard spellcasting near the bottom of the stairs. (See the blue square on the map)
Colleen sees the weapon and Dalsine, but his laugh is so obnoxious... her eyes must be deceiving her.
Torrential enhances his weapon and advances, leaving himself wide open.

so who all is willing to toss In treasure to raise Torrential? I'll give up my whole share if we can get enough to raise him. His characters pretty interesting and it'd be a shame if he doesn't make it out of this.

So close with these rolls, guys
The party quickly swarms Dalsine, but they are unable to get past his defenses. Aritian comes closest, with the nobleman dodging his greatsword with unnatural grace. Colleen does manage to trick him, but is unable to get her blade past his armor.

No need for that. He had ZERO experience. Torrential just happens to have a twin by the name of Deluge too :) If I had to lose a character, losing on on the first adventure is the best way to do it, and being novaed by a Magus is a nice way to go. I'm thinking Deluge will concentrate on the sling and fight from the rear after he hears about how his dear bro went.
36 damage to Aritian...I wish my PCs rolled this well

[ooc] I understand. Who's idea was it to add a shocking grasp magus to this low a tier? The burst on a magus is insane at low levels.

Wisdom is indeed a monk virtue. Maybe he can team up with Agirran the Fury.
Seeing another fiery explosion consume one of her company, Colleen feels a fiery eruption building with in her. Hate burns her from the inside out. In a rage of impassioned swordplay she cries aloud: "Shoelaces!" And spares a glance at her opponent's feet.
Colleen has had enough of his magic-induced murder and drives her rapier through Dalsine. He collapses, dropping his spellbook and his goods.
Dalsine's Spellbook:
cat’s grace
invisibility

acid splash

burning hands
chill touch

obscuring mist
silent image
reduce person

and all cantrips
Before the Dalsine mansion guards arrive, the party uses this time to gather the evidence that would link the Dawnflowers to Muesello. They also collect their fallen members.
Back in Absalom, you receive a letter from Muesello himself. He says the Dalsine family personally apologized to him, and gave him a generous gift. They said the family did not condone Dalsine's actions, and he will punished severely for the confusion he caused and the lives taken. Muesello also mentions the Dawnflowers are alive and well, and they plan to journey back to Taldor in a few months.
Musello also thanks you for your assistance in saving the Dawnflowers and exposing Dalsine's treachery. He regrets how his decisions cost the lives of not on innocent Dawnflowers, but also brave Pathfinders.
The End. Please report your chronicle info in the discussion thread if you haven't already.

Saldoc, seriously wounded but alive, helps with carrying off his new but now lost friends. This is dangerous work! Maybe I should just be a street urchin.
Hello everyone and welcome to the CORE run of 2-21: The Dalsine Affair.
This game is available for tier 1-7 PCs, with subtiers in the 1-2,3-4 and 6-7 range. It looks like we'll be doing the 1-2 subtier, based on who has signed up, but feel free to discuss it out here. Remember you can always bring a pregen character and apply the credit to your PC.
Note that the final battle may be rough. Maybe. I've had ones where it ended with a single spell, and others where a lucky crit prevented a party wipe.
Use this thread to discuss who you'll bring along. Please update your profile so it has a quick stat block. You can look at GM Chadius's profile for an example. This makes it easy to refer to your most important stats.

I was planning on being this guy. Stat block is updated, but waiting on a chronicle sheet to be corrected and then scan in all my chronicles tomorrow. As far as ready to play, he is all updated and ready, just won't have the last chronicle and final inventory tracking sheet up until tomorrow. The things I purchased for him are already incorporated into his stat block.

No worries. Its the first rodeo for this PC so if he dies, he dies. I'll just use a made-up name for the chronicle and try again!

Auri will be out of tier no matter what with this scenario. My other option is Prisim, a second level sorcerer. Given we have Ledt that isn't fantastic in terms of character versatility. And would still have us in tier 3-4 but a little light on muscle.

Honestly, I think the current party sounds just fine as is. I could switch to my Ranger 3 if we were light on muscle but I think the party mix is good the way it is.
Fun note: One of the highest charisma parties I've seen. :)
Hmm. It looks like we have 7 PCs. I believe that's alright under PFS, but it may get a bit crowded. Check your character in on the gameplay tab when ready.
Sounds good to me. Just want to let you know that I work 14 hrs on Tue, Fri and Sat. On those days I will post very early or very late but I will post.

When it comes to day jobs, you all get a +3 circumstantial bonus from Auri. Hurrah! She knows who you need to know to get a good sale.
BTW for level calculation purposes, Auri is 5th not 4th. That may bump up the tier, sorry about the delay in posting, this wasn't showing up in my list of forums for some reason.

I thought Radagast was being replaced by another PC?
Grappled creatures cannot make AoO, and anyway he cannot 5-foot step and will suffer moving around, so hopefully he will probably not have much more AoOs even if he gets the save done ^_^

Oh crap, I forgot to ask!
BBEG Fight Spoilers (in case Tier 1-2 is still going):
I can see the scenario myself (having access to it and all...). Do you want to mark what I take from his spellbook? I'll let you know if yes when I have a chance to look at it.
EDITED: Forgot I already had Expeditious Retreat. If you already edited the chronicle I'll just cross that one mine. :)
Tier 3-4 People:
Remember, you can get Frigid Touch on your spell list since the scroll is on the chronicle according to this blog post. You have to buy the scroll and use it to add it to your spell list, and spontaneous casters still have to use their known spell slots to get it. Since it's on the chronicle sheet, you can do it later if desired.
